Exciting News!
Hey you, welcome to the show! Today I would like you to meet Joanne O'Neill. She is a very experienced and award winning avant garde hairdresser who started her professional career in 1987. Today she works for numerous productions, rund her own salon and gives masterclasses to teach her art to the next generations of hair dressers. In this conversation we are talking about Joannes deep passion hairdressing, the power of a generous mentor in the beginning of a young career, her way to the British hair awards - we discuss a book that has paved her way to success, it's called „the war of art“. Another big topic is the energy of working with a large professional team on set – which is exactly what we experienced when we met through working together on a very large project in Sicily, Italy. Last April we have been touring through Sicily for 14 days with a crew of 30 people that MOJA had gathered around him to make this project become reality. Last but not least Joanne is probably the most kind person I ever worked with in the creative industry and has the most wonderful accent ever - and it's my big pleasure to welcome her the show and have her share her story! Are you ready for big hair? Here's Joanne, enjoy!
Welcome tor the next episode of Creative Industry Radio! I couldn't be more excited to have Jeannette Bohné on the pod. She is a very experienced creative director that has been working for the big players in the industry, like Grey, DDB and BBDO before she switched to the clients side and signed at Amazon prime video as creative director bringing her magic to life. She also works as co president of the ADC in Berlin and is a strong advocate for female rights, especially the right for abortion, which i highly support. In this conversation, that took a surprising spiritual turn, which i enjoyed very much, we spoke about psychedelic breathing, meditation and the Wim Hoff method. Of course we took a deep dive into the work of a creative director and Jeannettes experiences in the creative industry. She said, that in the past ten years she probably made you buy something or made you fall in love with yourself a little more. Are you curios if she's right? Cool, let's find out! Oh - and if you ever wanted to know what it takes to write erotic audio stories with a twist, this episode is for you! Here's Jeannette - enjoy!
Welcome to yet another episode of Creative Industry Radio! Today I would love for you to meet David Grover of Capture One. As Global Head of product training at Capture One, he serves the creative community with his broad knowledge of photography, postproduction and is the go to guy on everything Capture One! We share the same passion in working with images and in educating people in this amazing field. We met in 2016 at photokina in Cologne and have been working together from that moment on. David invited me to join him in webinars and also made me become a global Capture One brand ambassador. In this episode we're sitting down to talk about Davids history in the creative industry, the development from analogue to digital photography, the rise of working from home, an iconic church in Iceland, travel and frequent flying tipps and of course Capture One as a powerful software for creatives and what it means to work in this amazing company. Are you ready to dive into this conversation with David? Cool, then clean your lenses and let's bring it on!
