In this episode of Interlinks, I talk to Pratik Baral who is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer based in the Los Angeles metro area in California and has become somewhat of a regular guest on the Interlinks podcast due to his ongoing work at the cutting edge of AI applications in business. To date, nearly all mortgage loans continue to use outdated credit scoring models, though in other loan categories, much newer, more predictive, and inclusive models are most commonly used. But the mortgage industry is advancing. By next year, all mortgage loans backed by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will require a VantageScore 4.0 credit score. In advance of this change, Bank of America recently issued an independent research report analyzing the VantageScore 4.0 mortgage data set.  Pratik Gupta is the Head of CLO & RMBS Research at Bank of America Securities. Pratik joins The SCORE this week to discuss the findings of Bank of America's recent research into VantageScore 4.0. Pratik reviews: Batman Caped Crusader -  It's an American animated television series based on the DC Comics character Batman. Premiered on August 1, 2024, on Amazon Prime Video, the show offers a noir-inspired reimagining of the Batman mythos, focusing on a young Bruce Wayne during the early stages of his crime-fighting career in Gotham City, drawing inspiration from Batman stories of the 1940s and 1960s.
