Tren lonjakan harga beras di saat stok cadangan beras pemerintah (CBP) melimpah bikin publik gerah. Harga beras di beberapa wilayah bahkan sempat menyentuh Rp60 ribu per kg. Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) mencatat, hingga pekan ketiga Agustus 2025, lonjakan harga beras terjadi di 200 kabupaten/kota, naik dari pekan sebelumnya yang mencapai 193 kabupaten/kota.Kondisi itu tak sinkron dengan klaim Kementerian Pertanian (Kementan) bahwa stok beras per Agustus 2025 mencapai 4,2 juta ton, tertinggi sepanjang sejarah republik ini.Sebagai upaya menstabilkan harga beras, Kementan menggelar operasi pasar hingga Desember 2025. Targetnya, sebanyak 1,3 juta ton beras dikucurkan lewat program Stabilisasi Pasokan dan Harga Pangan (SPHP). Sementara untuk solusi jangka pendek, Badan Pangan Nasional (Bapanas) mengerek Harga Eceran Tertinggi (HET) beras medium se-Indonesia menjadi Rp 13.500 per kilogram.Masalah tata kelola beras sejak dulu selalu disebut sebagai biang kerok harga beras tak kunjung turun. Mengapa masalah ini sulit terurai? Apa yang bisa kita telaah dari data pemerintah yang tak sinkron dengan kondisi lapangan? Pemerintah memastikan gaji Pegawai Negeri Sipil (PNS) tidak akan naik pada 2026. Menteri Keuangan Sri Mulyani menegaskan, ruang fiskal yang ada akan difokuskan untuk membiayai delapan program unggulan prioritas Presiden Prabowo Subianto.
