The FitStoryTV podcast is an incredible source of inspiration, motivation, and connection. With each episode, listeners are taken on a journey of self-discovery and personal growth. The hosts, Matthew Burbridge and Perry McCormick, have a unique ability to bring out the best in their guests through their raw and authentic interviewing style. This podcast is filled with powerful wisdom and inspiring stories that will leave you feeling empowered and ready to share your own story.
One of the best aspects of the FitStoryTV podcast is the genuine vulnerability displayed by both the hosts and the guests. Matt and Perry create a safe space for their guests to open up about their past struggles and triumphs, allowing listeners to connect on a deep level. This authenticity translates into insightful conversations that provide valuable takeaways for listeners. Each episode is like diving into a pool of knowledge, as the hosts uncover the realest emotions and experiences.
Another great aspect of this podcast is its ability to inspire self-reflection and personal growth. Through listening to the stories shared by guests, listeners can gain new perspectives on their own lives and find motivation to overcome obstacles. The FitStoryTV podcast encourages listeners to dig deeper into their own stories, understand them better, and strive for internal alignment. It fosters a sense of community among people who can relate to each other's experiences.
As with any podcast, there may be some aspects that could be improved upon. One possible drawback of the FitStoryTV podcast is that it may not appeal to everyone's interests or resonate with all listeners. The topics covered in each episode primarily revolve around personal growth, fitness, and overcoming challenges. While this can be highly motivational for many individuals, those looking for more lighthearted or entertainment-focused content may not find it as engaging.
In conclusion, the FitStoryTV podcast delivers a powerful dose of inspiration and connection with each episode. It is a platform where real stories and raw emotions are shared, creating an atmosphere of authenticity and vulnerability. Matt and Perry's genuine care for their guests shines through in every interview, making for a truly impactful listening experience. If you're seeking personal growth, motivation, and a sense of community, the FitStoryTV podcast is a must-listen.
It's been almost three years to the day… but FitStoryTV is back — and we're coming in strong. In the opening moments, I share where I've been, why I stepped away, and the mission behind FitStoryTV as we shift toward telling stories of transformation through the art of Jiu Jitsu. In this first episode, we go beyond the mats with my coach, my friend, and 2nd-degree Jiu Jitsu black belt — Matt Whyton.Growing up in the sleepy little village of Medstead, Hampshire, UK, Matt started out by falling in with the wrong crowd and being kicked out by his dad — before realising that wasn't the path he wanted to follow.Later, he found martial arts and committed himself fully to becoming the best he could be — as a martial artist and a man. While we may kick things off with some laughs, this conversation gets deep fast as Matt opens up about being sectioned multiple times and navigating the brutal reality of mental health struggles. This episode dives into how a man can lose himself in chaos, spiral out of control — and still find power, peace, and transformation through adversity and the art of Jiu Jitsu. His story, like many to come on FitStoryTV is one of trial and triumph.⚠️ If you're easily triggered or offended by strong language and the occasional dark joke, you might want to skip this one — but you'd be missing out on one hell of a story.Until next time — keep showing up, keep growing, and remember: own your story. If you loved this episode, let us know by sharing it on your IG stories and tagging us — and don't forget to rate and review this episode on Apple Podcasts to help us climb the charts.
One of the OG's of the fitness world, Steve Maxwell joins us on the podcast to share his story. A lot of people know him as fitness guru, BJJ blackbelt, coach and trainer since 1972, Steve Maxwell. He is nomadic, going city to city, doing what he loves everyday and we caught him for an hour in his busy diary, to talk about his story and hardest learnt lessons over the past few decades and beyond. He told us all about his early days growing up, what got him into fitness, his wrestling career, how things shifted for him over the years and how it all came to be that he was named as one of the top 100 trainers in USA by Mens Journal with a wealth of knowledge, experience who is highly respected and has worked and trained with the likes of Gracie brothers, Pavel Tsatsouline and even Brad Pitt (yes, seriously). Steve talks fitness, longevity, mindset and business and if you love a good story with tactical advice weaved in that can help you build a business and live a full life, then this podcast episode is for you. It was dope to have him on and he is coming back again sometime in the future to talk about his transition online from PT'ing, navigating 2020 and much more that we didn't get to discuss on the show. Back on episode 48 you may remember my good friend Chris Mooney shared his story - but what we didn't cover was the origin story behind his brand 51FIT. Today was that day. We spoke about the creation of 51FIT, the meaning behind the name and within that, the number one thing you must have to build a fitness business (and its not as complicated or as difficult as you might think to master this one because you're probably already doing it in another area of your life). Chris is so passionate about the industry and it always comes through in the way he communicates what he does and why he does what he does. We played good cop bad cop throughout the entire show, calling out the PT industry for some of the flaws we see (which you'll probably agree with) and we had a lot of fun with the discussion. Venturing into what it took him to go from managing a gym, to building his personal brand that is now helping certify QUALITY personal trainers so that he can sleep easy at night knowing the work he does is changing not only the life of the PT, but also the lives of the clients they serve. He is making impact in the industry, and we love him for it. You will too. Take a listen to the full episode now and let us know what you think by leaving a rating and a review. Share this with a friend at the very least as it will help us get ranked and help more people out there. P.S FitStory and 51FIT are working on a joint venture this month, delivering a new programme and the doors are now open to apply. There is certain criteria to meet for anyone coming into this programme (we talk about it more around 55:00 minutes onward). Owner and founder of Physique Essentials and Elite Physique Project, Josh Dickinson joins me on the podcast to talk about his story and detail parts of his journey to becoming and staying a leader in the fitness space. With a career spanning for over two decades, Josh had a lot to say about starting a fitness business and staying in the game. We actually discovered he built his platform during a time when forums were the way for people to get information on how to transform (not social media like today), Josh saw opportunity to lead the way. Not only did he train to become a natural bodybuilding champion, so he knows a thing or two about transformation, he also trained world champions, opened a gym and has spent time mastering his craft as an online coach and expert over the years. There were many bombs during this episode, it would be hard for me to pinpoint any specific take aways, but we spoke about topics that will 100% give you the knowledge you need to avoid stepping on mines as you grow your business, so you'll want to check this one out. Thanks to my guest Josh for his time, and patience in this launching because this episode was actually recorded over 1 year ago. We lost the recording and after much digging, finally found/recovered it. As always, if you love it, rate and review (or tell a friend about us by sharing the episode with them). Follow and connect with Josh on FB: https://www.facebook.com/josh.dickinson.37 P.S are you a fitness expert? do you want to monetise your story? Ed Flood is the founder of Trail Pursuit, which is known for its unique trail race festivals & adventure retreats for people who love the great outdoors. But who was he before that? We started off the episode by talking about his upbringing, being positively influenced and growing up where giving back was a standard and strong family value. He spent his formative years on a pursuit of his own, exploring things that kept him out of trouble, from Tennis to entering charity events to help those who may be less privileged, until eventually he took up running and found his stride. Setting up a successful crowd funder and beginning his entrepreneurial endeavours. But things quickly take a drastic turn when later, while in the first year of building the Trail Pursuit brand, he was hit with a marriage breakup that caused him to really have to dig deep and navigate the terrain he found himself on. Ed speaks about the tactics he used to help keep him focused on the bigger vision of giving back to those who are out there on a pursuit of their own, to better themselves and show up in their lives as the hero of their story, while dealing with his own struggles in his story. We've personally been connected for a while now and I have seen qualities in him that are rare to find in people these days - he also invited me to speak on stage at his upcoming event in the Lake District. Again, out of service and a genuine desire to give back to others. Ed's heart is big. He does things out of a love for doing them and always wants to do something for others, even when he himself is in times of hardship. He is loved and supported by his team and they continue to grow what is the fastest growing trail running community in the UK. Ed's shares with us vulnerably in this episode, and I am thankful for the space we got to share. Want to follow Ed's journey on IG? On the show we have Rodney Stewart - not the singer but the proud owner of Club Performax, Florida. A successful gym with a team of highly skilled personal trainers that know how to train a diverse population and deliver the ultimate in customer service - to get there, Rod has faced many seasons of hardship in building the brand, so you could say he knows a thing or two. On this episode he talks to us about his story of growth, adversity and development to become the best coach and leader he can be and shares valuable insights into the mindset and work ethic behind what it takes to stay in the game for 20+ years. His philosophy is something that I personally loved - that we get two 50's. The first 50 and the second 50, meaning we all should live to 100, and if that's the case, then the second 50 should feel just as good as the first. He is a true expert at what he does and yet doesn't sleep on continuing to educate and empower himself with knowledge and tools to better support not only his clients, but also his team, his family and anyone else who he comes into contact with. His experience shows in how he communicates his story. He practices the very things he preaches and Rod has been in the game of health and fitness for as long as I have been alive. He is the real deal. I have a feeling you are going to love this story. You'll learn a ton about business, mindset and how to stick to your knitting when things get tough. If you love this episode, don't forget to rate, review and share the episode with a friend or on your social media. You can follow Rod on IG here: https://www.instagram.com/club_performax/ or check out what they are getting up to over there on the space coast: https://www.clubperformax.com/about Until next time. Entrepreneur and agency owner, Ricardo Fleuranvil joins us in this episode to talk about his story - he spoke into the days before entrepreneurship, the businesses and making money. He opened up telling us what it was like to grow up as the oldest of 10 kids and what it was like growing up in a functioning-dysfunctional family. Needing to grow up fast and take on responsibility early. Ricardo today, is extroverted and confident, but once upon a time, he was a shy, soft spoken kid who struggled to communicate clearly, which led to being nick-named "retardo". This label, created an identity in which he lived with for years after. After meeting his now wife, things shifted. He was able to seek the mentorship he needed to develop his skills, his mindset and ultimately his life to where he is today. Nothing was linear, but his story, provides a path for others to follow that are looking to change their habits, their mindset and their world from the inside out. People like us are cut from the same cloth and that's why I loved having him on the show. Mikey Mckinson is here... On this episode (which is late to launch fyi, as we had some production issues early on) I had the pleasure of sitting with professional boxer "The problem" - Mikey Mckinson, who shares insights of trial, tribulation and now the journey to triumph, weaved into a truly vulnerable and authentic story behind what it took to get where he is today - on the path to his life long dream of being world champion. Having been thrown in the deep end by his father for many years, climbing the ladder of success so to speak, Mikey now has the opportunity of a lifetime, to grace the ring with his presence, on a huge show streamed on DAZN boxing, as he looks to cause more boxers, more problems and fight his way to the top. A professional welterweight boxer from the UK, Portsmouth, with a record of 21-0, who is has spent his entire life, over 27 years with gloves on, being told he is the underdog. On March 19th, will he prove them otherwise? Tune in to DAZN and watch the stream. P.S this episode was recorded in February 2022, and Mikeys opponent has since been changed due to a health issue with Ortiz. We wish him a speedy recovery and maybe one day the fans will get to see "The Problem" face off with Ortiz in the future. For now, he has a problem to cause new opponent, Alex Martin. As always, if you loved this episode let us know by sharing on your IG stories, you can find us @fitstorytv and don't forget to rate and review this episode on Apple to help us get ranked. See you next time...
Damn, this episode was a hot one. I was joined by the founder of BreakFree Festival and online fitness mindset coach, Rachel Pastor, and boy oh boy will this story hit hard. Most of all because it was so real, raw and authentic. Rachel, who now helps people breakthrough limiting beliefs and completely transform their identities through fitness, nutrition and NLP, was once addicted to drugs and had nothing to live for.. It's amazing and exactly why I do this podcast. How does someone change their life once they hit the point of feeling like they don't have one? How does that happen? Well, Rachel didn't hold back on any of the details in this episode. Her story, owned and told. Not only that, Rachel has gone on to build the life of her dreams as she continues to carry out and fulfil her vision of helping more people get access to "THIS" as she so excitedly described on the podcast. We dove into not just her story, but also business, mindset and beyond. Rachel has the experience and shares it all. She's been featured in: business insider, NOCO, CBS and many more - it was a pleasure to add to that roster. Rachel is an authentic, powerful, driven and compassionate leader that the world desperately needs more of. I loved every minute of this episode and I hope you will too. Leave us your comments wherever your listening from, we love an proper' review too ;)
You may remember they came to share their story (episode 4) and now they're back again for a second feature on FitStoryTV... Chris & Eric Martinez, otherwise known as the Dynamic Duo came to talk with Matthew Burbridge about how things have changed for them since the start of the "pandemic", to now. Unlike the last time they came on, this episode was far more tactical, as we dove deep into sharing insider knowledge on what it takes to make it through adversity when you face it in life and business. Their journey over the past 14 months serves as a roadmap for anyone trying to navigate the hustle of building an online business, when external forces that you have little-to-no control over come into play. They've been there and they've done it. We spoke about how powerful it is to take time to identify activities in your business that bring you death, and then how delegating - when done right - can have a huge impact on your chances of success. We also dove into the real thing that's actually holding most online trainers back from growth - and no, it isn't a lack of tools, access to knowledge or resources... Tune in to find out what it REALLY is, so that you can avoid making that very costly mistake. We look forward to hearing your feedback, and seeing the shares on IG stories - which we will repost. "A billion dollar body is a state of mind" - that's what our guest and expert coach Keri Ford believes... And people must agree because she's building an empire by teaching high-performance women how to stop performing with diets so they can achieve Cookie Confidence. She's been on the show before (episode 34) and we wanted to get her back again since her growth has been astounding. Recently being featured Entrepreneur, NBC, HuffPost and has so much knowledge to share about how you can get there too. We discussed all things business, scaling, challenges, delegation, personal growth and beyond. This episode will be extremely helpful for those of you out there who want to learn from someone who has done it, and is doing it. Hayden McEvoy is the creator of "Academic Personal Training" and founder of "A Team Tuition". Before we got into the gritty stuff, Hayden shared with us how it was growing up, feeling like the "lesser talented" brother to Cam McEvoy (who later became 2012-2016 swimming olympian), but he didn't let a perceived lack of talent hold him back from achieving greatness in his life and business endeavours. He came on the show to share his story of how he turned 5,000 savings into an 8 figure business that's transforming education as we know it. In this episode he walks us through how to find strategic partnerships (and why that's SO important to anyone starting or scaling a business), why the key to confidence is in the plan and how a negative personal experience in school at a young age ultimately became a positive lesson that shaped his career path and who he is today. His mission is simple: to transform education so children are given the right tools, support and guidance to become successful adults and effective co-creators in the world we all share. I was fascinated by the way his brain works and the chapters he has lived - from swimming at a high level to starting an app for nightclubs, we hear it all and more as we dive into his FitStory. Vince Gabriele is on a mission to help gym owners build businesses that grow without them chained to it - more on that shortly, for now though.. In this episode, we talk about how a "normal upbringing" can sometimes leave you feeling like you don't have much of a story, however we learned that this is not the case. As Vince's story evolved, he tells us how he faced major challenges later in life when his father had a serious stroke, leaving him vulnerable and unable to look after himself. As a father himself, Vince worked incredibly hard on his own resilience in adversity so that he could navigate through the tough times and share those lessons with us today, because we all have to accept that life will not always work out for us. In fact, it's likely to throw some stones, and you've got to be able to catch them. In business this is also true. Vince has helped 100's of gym owners over the years to create the life they desire, which includes having freedom. Something he found to be of the utmost importance during the time his father was in hospital. Among other things, Vince has written books, created a podcast and knows exactly what to do to grow a fitness business. On this episode of the podcast I caught up with Darren Bruce, who walked us through his story. Darren is obsessed with helping high performers win. Having started life himself with challenges and sets backs when it came to education, he found solitude in movement. Something that changed the way he saw himself and his place in the world.. From there, Darren entered a leadership role in the military and went on to open a holistic performance centre. He saw rapid success and shares some powerful insights with us about what it was like to scale so quickly. It'll be useful to grab a pen with this one and take some notes. He has helped hundreds of people through coaching, speaking and consulting nationally and internationally and today, helps his clients achieve results fast, without stressing themselves out in the process - which is crucial because businesses don't grow beyond our ability to lead it to success. We loved this conversation and sure you will too. Let us know what you took away from this by sharing a screenshot on your social media and tagging us. Sexual abuse is REAL and as much as we try to avoid the hard conversations about exposing it, it needs to be spoken about in order to create awareness...and that's why I wanted to speak with Paul Remmer on the podcast. Before we got going into Paul's incredibly powerful and thought-provoking story, we gave credit to former business partner Perry Power for launching his new book "breaking the silence". Link below in the show notes. With that, we dove into Paul's story (this was pretty tough to hear) going back to when he was just 5 years old, having his innocence taken away through a heinous act, causing him to live with PTSD for years to come. He then broke his silence in only to be met with resistance (like many victims of sexual abuse). The full story will blow your mind.. We also spoke about why fitness plays such a huge role in his life and how significant it has been in aiding his recovery as a survivor and his vision moving forward, both on stage and off stage as he steps into the role of becoming a higher performing athlete, and author himself. Bare in mind this episode (like all episodes) is for 18's and over - as it contains disturbing descriptions. Please only listen if you are ready to hear what we had to say. On another note, if you know someone who has been affected by the things we discussed, send them this episode, it may help them in breaking their silence with the world. Have you mastered the basics of building your fitness business before trying to master everything? It could be the reason things aren't going how you'd hope... In todays episode I speak with owner of GymBoss Marketing, and host of GymBoss Podcast Jimmy Halley. He shares his story, highlighting key chapters that you will find relatable and funny. We dove into the mindset you must carry if you want to be successful in sales, how to work through adversity and what we covered is important for anyone who is looking to start, build or scale a fitness business. If you implement the information shared, you will get 1-15 new clients this month, no shit. I could have spoken to him for days on end to be honest. What a genuine, grass roots conversation that I am sure will be worth the 85 minutes you invest into listening. Today I caught up with Tom Hibbert, the owner of Winning Strength to talk all things story. From humble beginnings, he is a World Record Breaker and world class strength coach who no doubt has earned his stripes after being in the game for well over 10 years. Residing in Southampton, UK. He currently works with several high level athletes (some of which are record holders themselves). His training facilities ethos is based on strength and empowerment. And he is developing a strong culture among clients and his team, that revolves around the idea of "progress" being the true measure for success - What is your ethos? What is your culture? We covered why it's important to make hard decisions on how to decide who you have around you, as well as how he came to find himself walking the journey of life doing exactly what he feels he was called to do. A very genuine, dude to dude conversation that will leave you looking at things in your life and business, differently. Suicide is a hard thing to talk about. It's very taboo. And at a very young age my guest today, Jimi Pomponio experienced it first hand when his mother took her own life. For 28 years he barely spoke out about it but on the show, he dives deep and shares his story with an open heart. We spoke about how that trauma has over the years manifested itself in his life and what he does to work through it to become the leader he desires to be for his team, his wife and his future children. Today, he helps gym owners win in business, while building it in a way that doesn't consume everything about who they are, so they have time for other things in life. He also hosts the Gym Growth Podcast. This was a truly powerful, raw and thought provoking conversation that will help you see the significance in what you've been through, how important of a role fitness played in your life and it will leave you feeling inspired to own your mess, so you can turn it into a message that impacts the lives of those around you. We also covered the real reason you aren't sharing your story, how to remove any objections you have around sharing and give you actionable steps on building your business. You can catch up with Jimi on his social media, instagram right here: https://www.instagram.com/jimi_pomponio/ Listen to his podcast here: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-gym-growth-podcast/id1542874752 P.S want help with building your business through storytelling? Jeff Davis is a top notch, fit-habit coach and on the show today he got super vulnerable. He shared his what life was like when he was younger, growing up with a tough home life and environment that subconsciously instilled negative habits into his identity, that he then carried for years and years into his adult life. Jeff spent a lot of time sabotaging himself because of these detrimental habits and behaviours until one day, staring himself in the mirror he decided to change who he was and shift that identity into a new version of himself. He competed, and made a radical change not just physically, but mentally, emotionally and spiritually. His story today and the powerful open, vulnerable conversation we had serves as a reminder that everyone has the capacity to change but it starts with us and our desire to commit to changing. From self sabotage and unhealthy habits to using his story, his lessons and his knowledge as a way to serve others in the world who may find themselves stuck where he once was. We dove deep into topics related to his journey, from what it means to look at selfishness differently in a way that supports your growth and those around you, to why you need to work on yourself before trying to work on fixing others. This one was truly something you won't want to miss. As always, if you love the episode, leave us a rating and review. It goes a long way as we continue to grow this podcast and reach further points of the universe. The founder and owner of Fearless Training and host of the Roar Knowledge podcast, Alex Connor came through to spend some time with us and share his story. Born out of the UK, now living in Australia, Alex talks about how fitness was something he did from a young age. Being inspired by his dad who would take him to the gym to train, it became part of his identity early on. He went on to become a personal trainer, and found his "all in" moment after prepping for a bodybuilding show. Since then, he has been pursuing a constant state of growth, personally and professionally, and is crafting a huge vision for Fearless Training in the near future. We dive into many topics that branch off from his story, and have an organic, grass roots conversation about what it life really is and how to be more human in 2021. If you loved this episode, leave a rating and review. We'd also love to see it shared on social media, so screenshot it and tag us on your IG stories. Have you ever had a moment in your life where you just had to look at yourself in the mirror, say "fuck it" and commit to something that scares you? Well on the show today, my guest Dennis Deheza talks us through what that moment looked like for him and why as scary as it was to pack up his life, leave his family and head for another city he hadn't been to before, was ultimately it was the best decision he ever made. Dennis started life living in DC, northern Virginia area, born into a huge family. His parents having come from Bolivia worked hard to make ends meet and provide for their family taking any blue collar jobs they could. Their work ethic, though providing for Dennis and his siblings, left him with a desire to do more with his life. As the poverty mindset was installed from a young age, Dennis had a desire to break the mould. He was hungry, and that hunger led him to becoming a 6-figure personal trainer, working with some of the highest level clients he could find in California. Now running a successful coaching business, Dennis shares lessons from his story that will serve as the roadmap for others who want to do the same thing. Today on the show, I caught up with an old friend, endurance athlete, elite level trainer, coach, gym owner, and all round badass, Owen Gayle. We actually met back in 2012 at one of the most prestigious MMA gyms in the south of England, GYM01, where I had the pleasure to not only train with him but also watch his growth, as he climbed the professional rankings, ultimately making his way all the way to top 10 in UK and Europe. Since then he has gone on to leave fighting and start his own gym, specialising in calisthenics, sports psychology and movement. Owen has documented hours and hours of content to help guide others in their journey of health and fitness. He has a rare curiosity, for all things training, health, nutrition, and has over the years put himself in extreme physical and mental situations, just to answer the question of "what if"... On this episode we spoke about what to do when it feels like your dreams come crumbling down, what can happen in your life and business when passion and ability meet and why it's important to view negative experiences in your life through a positive lens. Owen now has his sights on breaking records in 2021 and judging by the work during his previous years, his ethics, his pace and desire to outwork himself, I have no doubt he will. His story has been full of ups and downs, and I felt fortunate to hear him talk so openly about it all. Enjoy. You can find more out about Owen right here: https://linktr.ee/owenoggayle P.S if you are a fitness pro who wants to begin leveraging your story to make more money and impact in your business, make sure you join our 3 day challenge here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/TheFitStoryCommunity As always, if you loved this episode, tell a friend, give it a rating and review. Today on the show, we spoke with former fitness expert turned fitness business coach, Tobias Young. He is the co-founder of TNT FitPro Explosion that specialises in fitness coaches scale with their 6-figure blueprint. It was humble beginnings for Tobias who grew up without a dad after being born in one of the roughest areas of Richmond, CA. From a young age, he always wanted to be like the Hulk and draw inspiration from the character we all know and love in the movies. From the first time he was introduced into fitness, it became part of his identity and years down the line, he has poured his heart and soul into the industry to give back what fitness had given to him. In this episode we dove into his story and through that, gave insights into what it takes to move away from a poverty mindset to a winners mindset, why it's important to have the right people around you and how you can start your fitness business with some simple avoidance of problems that he experienced, so you don't have to. Today we catch up with former British, commonwealth & European lightweight boxer, Billy Schwer. What an EPIC, wild action packed story. There was blood, sweat, tears and years of failing before he achieved his life long dream of becoming a world champion. Starting out in life feeling weak and not good enough, he had to challenge himself in the boxing “ring of life”, not once, but over and over again, in order to breakthrough. He opens up to talk about the trials, tribulations, set backs, adversities and of course, the discipline and perseverance it took to be where he is today. Now turned successful entrepreneur, Billy helps men to man up and become all they can be, through immersive coaching experiences. At the time of this recording the world was just a few weeks into the first lockdown, and if you can remember back then... Things for fitness businesses were most definitely looking a little bleak. Including those that run/own brick and mortar - but not limited to those with online ecosystems. So we recorded some content and covered some crucial parts of how to overcome challenges both external and internal. We never did release the episode.. But it seems timely to do so now as for many, especially in the UK are heading back into another lockdown. On it we discussed how we can’t always help or control the circumstances that are bestowed upon us in these times, but we CAN absolutely navigate these challenges with the right tools, knowledge and support. Starting from what lens we chose to look through and how we view it. This episode was super powerful, insightful and will give you permission to stand up to any adversity you face in your life, and move through it so that you can progress forward with your vision and accomplish everything you desire. Matthew Burbridge leads the conversation, with co-host Perry Power and guest, friend and mentor, Jake Kauffman. A slightly different feel to the show today. In this episode one of our powerhouse clients in the FitStory Accelerator Programme shares his story of trial and triumph. That's right, we hooked up with the founder and owner of MRBPT, Angus Buckle. A successful online coach who helps people perform like athletes in business through proven, science-based coaching. Angus came into our programme as an elite salesman in the offline space, having generated over 6 million in product sales for other companies before recognising that he could do the same thing for himself while creating more impact. Upon entering the online space, he, like many others began to see that it was a different animal and that sales and systems meant nothing without good marketing. He pulled the trigger and joined our FSA programme to become a storytelling fitpro. After quickly seeing a return on investment, months on, he is now generating consistent 5 figure months and continues to scale his fitness business with storytelling at the forefront of his marketing. Take a listen, leave a review and of course, as always share it with a friend. You can connect with Angus in his FB community here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/TLHOC/
