Tori grew up in a church that preached purity culture, which mostly taught her what she didn't want—a life with far more shame than sex, compounded by firmly fixed instructions around gender. She followed her pleasure down roads less traditionally traveled and created polyamorous and non-monogamous relationships with people across the gender spectrum. It works for her, her partners, and the children for whom she wants to make a better, healthier world. Tori is 37-years-old. She describes herself as Black, pansexual and polyamorous. She has a partner who she lives with, plus she's in a relationship with another couple. In terms of gender, she uses the she/her pronouns, but said, “Gender and I are not on speaking terms.” We talk about that in our conversation. She grew up in Evangelical purity culture. You can find Tori at: Website - www.ToriGlass.com Instagram - ToriGlass Twitter - ToriGlass Bookmark moments: 2:50 Tori shares her first memory of sexual pleasure, sitting in her homeschool desk at age 7 or 8 and rubbing herself over her jeans. In purity culture, “everything that feels good is bad.” 4:40 Tori talks about growing up in purity culture, how it never fit her, and how it spectacularly failed to prevent sexual activity for her and her peers. 12:14 She moves in with a boyfriend to the horror of her parents, with whom she is no longer in contact. 21:15 Tori talks about leaving the church as it became increasingly abusive towards its members. She wants to raise them differently than how she was raised. 25:46 Leaving the church (and her husband) allows her to explore her attraction to other people and other genders. Tori gets into more detail about her complicated relationship with gender. 32:25 Tori spells out what being a-romantic means to her and how she separates romance from intimacy from sex. 38:52 She opens up about her current live-in partner, how that configures with their other relationships, and what polyamory/ethical non-monogamy means for them. She talks about her relationship with a couple who met each other via her Twitter. 46:50 - The Lowdown - Tori answers questions about period sex, number of partners, sex with someone of a different race, sex toys, sex positions, initiating sex, clit stimulation vs penetration, breast play, achieving orgasm, faking it, solo orgasms vs partnered, kind of touch, nipple sucking, hard red lines, hair vs bare, giving and receiving oral, swallowing, taste and smell, dirty talk, laughter, and childhood beliefs about sex. DO YOU WANT THE RIGHT ANSWERS IN LIFE? IT ALL STARTS WITH ASKING THE RIGHT QUESTIONS. Are you ready for this ? MY GUEST HAS SOLD 500 MILLION BOOKS! Yep… 500,000,000 Mark is a legend and an icon In this interview he and his incredible wife Crystal are going to teach you how to ask the right questions and HOW to ASK for what you want! Best known as the co-author of the CHICKEN SOUP FOR THE SOUL book series, Mark is a highly sought-after keynote speaker who has helped untold numbers of people achieve massive success through his teachings and wisdom. As an author, he has written 59 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLERS. Mark is a prolific audio and video producer who has also spoken to 6,000 audiences and continues to share his compelling knowledge and wisdom along with his soul-mate and wife, Crystal Dwyer Hansen, to gatherings throughout the world. It was an honor to share time with Mark and Crystal in this latest episode. We cover how simple but also how difficult it is for people to ASK FOR HELP in their lives. Mark and Crystal explore this topic in great detail in their latest book, “Ask!: The Bridge from Your Dreams to Your Destiny,” which I read in two days and HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Our talk also touches upon the power of asking GOD for help and asking your SUBCONSCIOUS to help you solve whatever challenges you're facing. These are the types of things that EVERY ONE OF YOU can do to improve your life. Mark and Crystal also get into the ROADBLOCKS that keep us from asking questions that can help us lead RICHER lives. UNDERSTAND THIS! We all have the ability to ask questions. As Mark and Crystal reveal, it's the QUALITY of the questions we ask ourselves and how they relate to our feelings and emotions that determine the types of answers we get.

Unless you’ve built your photography business specifically around one big milestone in a person’s life, I’m looking at you wedding photographers, then client retention strategies are huge. Client retention is one of my favorite topics to talk about, so listen in to learn strategies for retaining your clients as a photographer. First of all, first impressions make a huge difference. I love bringing on a new client and then getting to send them a welcome gift. They feel appreciated, I’m leaning into one of my own personality traits, and they know that I’m serious about our time together. The same can be said for your business. Something quick and easy that reminds your client of how much they mean to you. Then of course follow that up with under promising and over delivering. This is true for every business. If you know that you can get the deliverables to them in 24hours then let them know that the time frame is 48 to 72hours. When they get them sooner than expected they’ll be impressed and feel like they were a priority to you. Also, set expectations up front. This can be done in the form of a Welcome Packet and initial onboarding email (Highly Recommend!) and will establish boundaries right from the beginning. Everything from hours of operation, how to communicate with you, expectations on deliverables, etc. A welcome packet makes it so much easier to keep everyone on the same page. If you’ve loved these tips, then listen to the entire episode to find out my absolute favorites. Client retention is huge in photography. You want to become their lifetime photographer. If they have a big milestone you want to be the first person they think to call. If you start implementing these ideas, then you WILL be the first one they call! In This Episode: [00:45] Thank you for joining me! [01:13] Learn about the little things you can do to retain clients. [03:45] One of my tips is to give clients a welcome gift to let them know you are glad they are working with you. [07:22] Why you should under promise and over deliver.. [07:50] Set expectations upfront so they know what they can expect when working with you. [10:41] I like to let my clients know I am thinking about them by sending them a little something for their birthday or anniversary, and it doesn’t have to be extravagant. [11:20] The next thing you can do to wow your client is to be prepared. [13:45] Let them know that you love their business the same way they love it. [14:36] My final tip is to go above and beyond for your client. [18:20] Thank you for listening! It’s the very 28th episode of Forsaken Cinema Podcast!!! This week were joined by Sideshow Mike as we discuss the recently released anthology film “The Mortuary Collection” which you can stream on Shudder and which we HIGHLY RECOMMEND you do!! One of the best films of the year, in our humble opinions. We also discuss the 1991 Ernest film, “Ernest Scared Stupid”, and you can hear all about how much it scared the shit outta Chuck when he was 7. It’s a bit of a long one, but stick it out to hear us talk about milking trolls, Mike’s affinity for all things British, trains and medicine cabinets, Mike and Mel’s soulless explanation of a potential “my spouse is a vegetable” situation, and once again this podcast’s ongoing disdain for watching people eat. ——— Also discussed: “Devil Doll” (1936) “Rocky Horror Picture Show” (1975) “Hell Night” (1981) “Scarecrows” (1988) “Trick ‘r Treat” (2007) “Dexter” (TV series) ——— If you dig the show, PLEASE!!! In this episode of Machine Learning Street Talk, Tim Scarfe, Yannic Kilcher and Connor Shorten chat about Large-scale Transfer Learning in Natural Language Processing. The Text-to-Text Transfer Transformer (T5) model from Google AI does an exhaustive survey of what’s important for Transfer Learning in NLP and what’s not. In this conversation, we go through the key takeaways of the paper, text-to-text input/output format, architecture choice, dataset size and composition, fine-tuning strategy, and how to best use more computation. Beginning with these topics, we diverge into exciting ideas such as embodied cognition, meta-learning, and the measure of intelligence. The show where two guys with no credentials drink craft beer, while recapping sports information you could find on the Internet. On this episode we had our friend Paul Morrison back on, and in all honesty look for that move to be permanent move! On this episode we discussed Lamar Jackson and the MVP race (or lack thereof) and can he continue this play not only for the rest of this season, but in future seasons. Honestly that was a fun topic. We discussed the state of the Denver Broncos and Vikings, along with the NFC and AFC Playoff outlook going into Week 16. Finished off with game predictions this week, please do not forget about the "2 minute drill" at the end a lot of hot takes. Tonight's Episode received the first 5/5 Beer Rating. This episode marks the final chapter of “What Would Virginia Woolf Do?” (Affiliate link) by Nina Lorez Collins – and Sarah and Julia are very sad the book is done. It’s such a good read! We love the author’s style and voice – and have appreciated her honesty and willingness to share personal details from the beginning. Highly Recommend. We also want to recommend the Facebook Group of the same name that Nina created even before she wrote the book. It’s a safe place to share and there’s an amazing engagement rate among members. Someone will post a question and within an hour there will be 150 responses! Check it out. Heads up! Our next episode we will be answering your BURNING Questions on the air and live on Facebook. Send us your questions – via email at Menopodcast@gmail.com – or via FB Messenger – or post it right on our Facebook page. Let us know what you think – and if you bought the book. (We hope so!)

After the brim, you change colors every 2 rounds which I promise will have you saying “just one more round!” after each one. The pattern effect is achieved using slipped stitches and simple 1x1 cables. Perfect for even an adventurous beginner. If you like the hat, be sure to check out the matching Ice Time Cowl. I used to be a big fan of soap operas growing up. No kidding, when I was 4 years old, I knew all of the characters and plot lines of Days of Our Lives. To this day, even though I haven’t watched it in years, I could still tell you all about Hope and Bo and John and Marlena and the villainous Stefano. I loved how ridiculous they were … people “died” on a regular basis, and just as quickly came back to life. Shocking pregnancies were par for the course. Dramatic cases of amnesia happened every other day. And no one ever worked! They just looked fabulous and had intense conversations over lunch. And while I definitely wouldn’t recommend modeling your life after most of those plot lines, there’s something about the regular bouts of amnesia that’s worth considering. In this week’s blog I’m talking about why our memories are sometimes the ONLY thing that keep us stuck, and why administering yourself a bout of selective amnesia might be the most productive thing you could ever do. I originally wrote this blog nearly 3 years ago, but the topic has been coming up over and over again both for me and my clients lately, so I decided it was time to dive back in and update it with my latest thoughts! NEED HELP FORGETTING YOUR OLD HABITS? We get it. It’s one thing to say, “Hey, what if you just forgot about all the times you failed and how often you’ve felt not good enough and hopeless?” It’s quite another to actually change that pattern, especially on your own. If you've reached a point where you’re ready to stop hoping things will change and start knowing that they’ll change AND ... If you want individual attention, someone to hold you accountable, and the benefit of our substantial experience focused solely on you…all so that you can make more progress in a matter of months than you'd make in years on your own, then 1-on-1 coaching may be ideal for you. Get clear on the details and reach out to us to talk about coaching here. I've been working hard trying to reduce the excess "stuff" in my house. I recently read the book The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up and while it's practice is a bit extreme, I really did resonate with the idea that clutter only holds us back. I've been ssystematicallypurging every room in the house, but it has been hard to get the kids to buy in. Recently, I had a little "come to Jesus" with my oldest daughter, who has a really hard time throwing things away. I told her we needed to pull everything out, put it on the floor, and put it back away, and I told her I wanted to her to really think about throwing about half of it away, because the volume was overwhelming. And it WAS overwhelming . . . especially as she saw everything laying on the floor. I think she finally got the "burden of stuff" laid out like that, and she was onboard. We filled four trashbags, and we put everything back neatly in place. And we were both really happy with the result. I got lots of inquiries about the rug when I posted this photo on instagram. It's from Lorena Canals and I can't say enough about her rugs. The designs are amazing but hetter, yet, they are WASHABLE. You can throw them in the washing machine like you would a comfortor which makes it so easy to keep clean in a kid's room. (I also have one in my livnig room.) They are hypo-allergenic and fmade with non-toxic chemicals, natural dyes and without environmental hazards. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! They are also available on amazon here. I'm happy to report that after this excercise, something clicked for India, and she has kept her room clean ever since. She's even done a purge twice since without me even asking. She's finally understanding that keeping less means more freedom from clutter. And now, it's time to tackle my kitchen cupboards . . .
Surprise! I have a bonus episode for you this week, and it's Part Two of my series on Food: How to Use it, Not Abuse it. Cultivating a healthy relationship with food has been a huge part of the work I've done for myself the past 11 years. I'm still focusing on it every day, but I see the improvements I have made that have made it all well worth it. I hope to inspire that in others, too! Part One is here, and there we spent a lot of time talking about what it LOOKS like to have a poor relationship with food and what you can begin to do about it. This episode--Part Two--involves more discussion on specific methods, both of which incorporate embracing a the "grey," ridding ourselves of black-and-white thinking, and moving towards natural moderation with how we view and eat food. The primary focus overall is Intuitive Eating, which is my very favorite eating philosophy. You can find the book here, and I'd definitely start with that; but I do recommend a coach if you are in the throes of trying to figure this out. I can recommend Elizabeth Dall and Stephanie Webb, both of whom are experts on this topic. Elizabeth is the primary Intuitive Eating expert for this episode, but Stephanie was the main expert for the last episode on this topic. (See their contact information below.) The second method is "Flexible Dieting," or also known as counting macros. Amber Brueseke is our expert on this, because not only does she know her stuff, but her whole goal is to move her clients towards Intuitive Eating. In essence, she wants to work herself out of a job. I know you'll enjoy this candid, helpful episode. Please let me know what you got out of it, and share it with those who you feel will benefit from it.
