This episode provides a high-level introduction to Enneagram for teens 13+ with an overview of the nine motivation types, as well as their strengths and weaknesses. We discuss the numbers "in a nutshell" and what self-care looks like. 'Ennea' is Greek for nine, and 'gram' is greek for figure or drawing. So the simple definition of Enneagram is a nine-pointed figure. It is nine ways of seeing and experiencing the world and helps us understand who we are and what motivates us. If you are interested in learning more about Enneagram, we strongly encourage you to read, study or listen to podcasts first, before taking the test. Materials and interviews with Casey McCollum is a great place to start. A good first book is The Road Back to You by Suzanne Stabile. And if you decide to take the test online, we recommend the one by Beth McCord on her LINKS: yourenneagramcoach.com.
