Wellll, welll, well. Carolina Cast Listeners, We're getting a look into the Panthers roster as training camp has started! We're seeing performances from all 3 QB's as we look at who's going to grab that starting spot. Sam Darnold is surprisingly looking pretty good, but that's how he usually performs in these types of situations—ones with no stakes or without an actual game taking place. Baker is a little less athletic than we would have expected, but as things stand he will grab the QB spot. Out of all of these guys, Carrol is the one I'm personally most interested in and excited about. He has a quickness and athleticism that far surpasses the other two guys on the roster. However, it's clear that he needs to hone his skills to be a reliable QB. I'm not saying he wouldn't be fun to watch—we would just be seeing quite a few mistakes being made at his current skill level. We're also getting excited to see what these guys do in the preseason games, as we'll get an idea of what the team will look like more! We'll be able to see who has real talent and football ability versus who doesn't. Hopefully, these new acquisitions will push our team to at least the playoffs this year. As for the Hornets, who knows what going to happen. They certainly didn't seem to have an option other than Miles Bridges coming back sooo… they need to come up with a Plan B. We need to get rid of Hayward's contract as a guy who plays only roughly 40 games a season, often due to injury, and really just isn't that great of a leader. We need to bring new guys in to complete the team so we can be excited about going forward. This season is definitely going to be interesting if we don't make some moves soon… But we're going to get into ALL of this and more! Be sure to leave a chat, say hi, or comment if you pop in.
