One of our “favorite” times of year, the annual NFL Schedule release. How do we think the saints were treated in the lineup of games for 2026? We debate whether we think it's favorable or whether we think we got screwed in certain spots (per usual). Do we think the timing of the games affects the win/loss total we had based on opponents alone? Also, we talk about the news coming out of rookie minicamp. Anything that stood out or still too early to get any real info on the newest Saints. Fun episode with this one. TUNE IN! WHO DAT?!

Only time and results on the field will tell, but did the Kellen Moore era Saints put together ANOTHER solid draft class?? We debate our feelings on that. Definitely has that "feel" to it, especially taking into account the veteran edge added through the draft-day trade, but did we get a little too "eager" drafting some of our guys where we did? Biggest question will remain: Did we make the right call with Jordyn Tyson at No. 8 given his injury past and other stand-out prospects still on the board, especially the widely popular Caleb Downs?? PLUS, much to Corey's delight, the Saints snag NOT ONE, but TWO...DAWGS. He drops his "inside intel" on the Saints 2nd and 3rd round picks, having watched every one of their downs on Saturdays over their college careers. We give our overall takes on the draft class as a whole and what we thought stood out as an overarching theme with this class when it was all said and done. Either way, the Saints picked up SPEED and NEED, with a couple of big mean guys on either side of the trenches. TUNE IN to get our takes on all angles of this draft class! It's been an eventful 2026 NFL Draft for the New Orleans Saints, who added a starter on the first day of the selection event before gearing up for Days 2 and 3. New Orleans went into the draft with eight picks in the first six rounds, including two picks in both Rounds 4 and 5. That's coming from a 2025 midseason trade with the Seattle Seahawks that brought back two picks in exchange for wide receiver Rashid Shaheed, as well as a compensatory pick for losing cornerback Paulson Adebo in free agency last year.Hosted on Ausha. New Saints tight end Oscar Delp joins WWL's Draft Fest moments after being selected by New Orleans, and he sounds absolutely ready to get to work. Delp talks about becoming a complete tight end at Georgia, taking pride in blocking and physicality, growing up as a lacrosse standout, joining fellow Bulldog Christen Miller in New Orleans, and why he believes the Saints landed one of the best rookie classes in the draft. He also gets his first crash course in the Who Dat chant.
Who Dat! The Saints drafted wide receiver Jordyn Tyson with the #8 pick. Let's break it down...and take a look at what the Saints could do the rest of the draft. Mike Detillier joins us.
Tired of listening to all those "insiders" tell you what "they know" or "are hearing" about who's picking who? Yeah, us too. "Lying Season" is in full swing. No one knows anything. So, do yourself a favor. Listen to US - not them - because we will readily tell you we have ZERO inside info on who's going where. BUT we have the TAKES that will keep you coming back for more, arguments with heat that will keep the power running, and very "sound" opinions that will no doubt age like fine wine - ALL on the players in this year's draft who we like, Love, think will fit any Styles of coaching thrown at them, and who can line up on all Downs for our Saints in 2026. In this one we go through EVERY position group of draft prospects and let yall know who we would pull a hamstring running to the podium for, who we don't want anywhere near our team, and who we think could be a dark horse and/or steal in later rounds. Needless to say, this process produced some highlight podcast "moments" or memorable quotes that may stick around longer than some teams' draft picks.PLUS - You're going to want to lock in til the end of this one (length doesn't matter) because we have a special "surprise" in store as we bring back one of our favorite "traditions" from our regular season episodes. It's every Saintsaholic's "most wonderful time" of the offseason - MOCK DRAFT SZN! Are there more mock drafts floating around this time of year than a lifetime supply of Dennis Allen's hair dye or Derek Carr's eyelliner? Sure. BUT, are their any like ours??? ABSOLUTELY NOT! Either way, we'd be remiss not to toss our hat into the ring of your (now daily) fill of mock drafts.FULL DISCLAIMER: This one may be "best enjoyed" via video over on our YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/@Saintsaholics In this one, we pull up one of the more accessible user-friendly mock draft websites courtesy of PFSN (Pro Football & Sports Network) and conduct an ENTIRE SEVEN ROUND mock draft for our saints LIVE as we recorded. We did this last year, and the episode (maybe not the picks) turned out pretty damn well (in our completely objective opinion). So, kick back and follow-along as your favorite Saintsaholics-in-chief enter the Saints [MOCK] WAR ROOM and help mold the future of the franchise with this year's slate of picks. As always, there is absolutely plenty of debate around many of the selections. Surprisingly (or not, if you know us), an overweighted portion of said debate(s) "may" have even arisen over the Saints last pick at 190. This one's an absolute must as the draft grows even closer. The Saints signing of Travis E'tienne reminded us of the wealth of quality NFL players, both past and present, from our home state of Louisiana. It also got us thinking how many stars and NFL Hall of Famers, including many from New Orleans, reached their heights for other teams. This begged the question: What players from Louisiana could have most helped the Saints if they had played for us instead of elsewhere? We each picked one offensive and one defensive player from the past who we thought answered this question - with ONE CAVEAT - the player you pick would replace whoever the Saints had starting at that position at that time/during the years the selected player was in the league. So, obviously Peyton Manning stands out, BUT picking him in this exercise means no Brees Era for the years that Peyton played. Would any of us DARE go there??? We also do the same exercise with current players. Definitely a fun/state-prideful/though-provoking episode. TUNE IN! “Slow” week since our last ep in Saints free agency, but we go a little further in depth into last week's signings and who/what positions we see as top needs remaining. Also, of course we hit a VERY worthwhile tangent and talk new JERSEY NUMBERS with all the signings/departures plus incoming draft picks (whoever it may be). Don't get it twisted: Jersey numbers as a whole IS an important topic. At least in our book, so just go with it ok?!And, last but not least, the Cam saga drags on. The situation with AK remains unclear. So, what the hell is going on. Is it all just posturing from Cam or has the bridge been broken? Is AK done with football or is he looking to go somewhere else via trade? We dive head-first into all of that. TUNE IN! Pod Ep DescriptionsThe NFL offseason marches on as the combine is officially in the books and the Free Agent “Tampering” period is only days away. So, naturally we dive deep into what we thought the results from the combine. Did anyone raise their stock for us? Any new red flags that weren't there before? And does anything we saw change our wish lists or #DraftCrush for pick No. 8? ALSO, big news (allegedly) coming out of Cam Jordan's camp today, as it's been stated he intends to hit the market as a FA and there WON'T be a new contract for him from the Saints before the league year officially begins. Will he or won't he stay in N.O. Same question for Demario Davis. Much to discuss in this one. TUNE IN! Without fail this week has snuck up on us once again. It is NFL COMBINE week aka every dude's favorite (and only?) week to deliberately turn on the TV to watch other dudes run around in their underwear (or so the story goes). But in all seriousness, we talk about some of the main guys we have our eye on this week and what results have surprised us already. We also debate the actual significance of the Combine as a whole. Does it really show us everything so many people claim it does or is it, nowadays, more of a pre-draft hype/PR exercise for guys looking to improve their stock? And, of course, we turn the discussion multiple times into a Saints draft strategy discussion as a whole. Solid ep as we venture further into the beginnings of the 2026 offseason. TUNE IN! Pour ce vingtième épisode de la saison 3 du French Quarter Podcast, la team Saints France fait le bilan de la saison 2025 !
In this one, we briefly recap our Saints last game of the year. Hardest thing about it was we know Shough wanted to get at least one against the falcons this year, especially in a game that we really did some good things, and bested the other team in a lot of key statistical categories. BUT...this last game simply closed one chapter so an even greater one can begin! Now that the dust has settled on 2025, we know that we will go into the offseason armed with the EIGTH pick in the draft and have a much easier strength of schedule to look forward to than all but one other team in the league. Optimism abounds, so we briefly get into some of that (besides sumbullshit in atlanta...). BUT, our big "Season Recap" episode isn't dropping just yet, so consider this one a precursor to what should be an epic "season finale" episode. Until then, this one will hold you over just fine. Another week, another NFC South division leader unseated by our Saints. The first win streak of the season came in dramatic fashion as Irishman Kicker CHARLIE SMYTH drilled the game winner to finish off the team's 4th quarter heroics, lead by some clutch defensive stops AND, obviously, by rookie QB1 Tyler Shough and the offense. It truly seems like ages ago that a win in the dome felt like this one. Corey and Max were in attendance to bring you the full report and breakdown of the win. Nick wasn't able to be there and will also be sitting out this week's recap, but Max and Corey can't help but wonder (and discuss) whether Sunday's performance will cause the undecideds to hop on the Shough bus...We get into all the good from the Saints clutch victory and also discuss implications our recent success has on the draft and what that means for what players/positions the Saints should be targeting this spring.
