To truly expand, we must first work on increasing our mental, emotional, and spiritual capacities.   Chapters: Introduction and Call to Action (00:00:19): Anthony introduces the podcast, its purpose of providing applicable wisdom, and encourages listeners to follow, download, and review. He uses examples of other countries with higher educational standards to illustrate the impact of mental capacity on growth and achievement. He argues that these influences limit our emotional capacity for growth. The Parable of the Talents (00:26:39): Hart analyzes the biblical parable of the talents, where servants were given different amounts of money to manage. Insecurity, he explains, is the uncertainty and anxiety that stems from a lack of confidence in oneself, ultimately leading to a sense of danger and vulnerability.   Throughout the episode, you'll gain insights into how anxiety and triggers often dominate our language and thoughts, highlighting the powerful grip of insecurity on our daily lives. Anthony emphasizes that many individuals wear insecurity as a badge of honor, failing to address the root causes beneath the surface.   One critical point discussed is the tendency for people to fund their insecurities, hoping that God will continue to provide. However, he reminds us that God does not finance insecure behaviors, making it essential to halt this cycle in order to receive His true provision.   Drawing from scripture, Pastor Hart reveals that Jesus came to destroy insecurity. He was anointed to bring good news to the poor, freedom to the captive, sight to the blind, and favor to the oppressed. By removing the underlying causes of insecurity, Jesus offers us the confidence to break free from its suffocating grip.   In the latter part of the episode, Anthony stresses the importance of recognizing and rejecting the lies that hold us back from embracing our true identities. He encourages listeners to replace insecurity with confidence, understanding that our past failures do not define us.   In conclusion, "Stuck in Insecurity" is a powerful exploration of a topic that affects many aspects of our lives. Whether you're a long-time listener or this is your first time here, we value your presence and believe that everyone, including you, plays an essential role in the conversation we're about to have.   This podcast aims to inspire meaningful dialogue and provide fresh perspectives. Our goal is to make you think, challenge your beliefs, and encourage you to converse with those around you. We live in a world filled with arguments and debates, but we truly need more genuine conversation to share perspectives, listen, learn, and grow together.   Anthony reflects on the power of trust in these conversations. Trust is built when people listen and witness the consistency between words and actions. Just as in his role as a pastor, Anthony learned that true impact comes from sharing moments in conversation, fostering trust, and being an example through actions.   Anthony introduces the central theme of this episode: the distinction between "presence" and "being present." He emphasizes how our culture often prioritizes having a commanding "presence," trying to stand out and demand attention. However, this focus on presence can lead to a superficial need for validation and attention, turning people into beggars for recognition.   In contrast, "being present" means connecting genuinely with others, offering value, and serving rather than demanding attention. It's about listening, sharing, and walking alongside others, even in their struggles. Anthony believes this distinction is crucial in various aspects of life, from family dynamics to business leadership.   Anthony also discusses his experience with The Founder Con Christian Business Conference, where they prioritize speakers who are present on stage and throughout the event, engaging in conversations and fostering connections.   He urges listeners to apply this understanding of presence and being present in their own lives, suggesting that it can bring transformation to family relationships, workplaces, and spiritual growth. He emphasizes that God is always present with us, and we should embrace this presence in our everyday lives.   In conclusion, Anthony challenges listeners to consider whether they are trying to cultivate a commanding presence or truly being present with those around them. He encourages everyone to be present, listen, and connect with others, as it is in these moments that real change and transformation can occur.   Thank you for tuning in to this episode of the "In the Red Podcast." He begins by sharing his own wisdom and experiences gained over the years.   The episode starts with a discussion about the word "attitude" and its impact on our lives. Anthony explores how many people can relate to moments when they or someone they know had a bad attitude. He highlights the importance of understanding attitudes and their effects.   Anthony had the opportunity to speak to middle school students and found that they were discussing attitudes, both good and bad. This inspired him to explore the concept further. He shares a thought-provoking definition of attitude: "A mental position with regard to a factor, state, or a feeling or emotion toward a factor or state."   He delves into the idea that attitudes can become a lifestyle, shifting from momentary emotions to a habitual state of readiness. Anthony emphasizes that a bad attitude can lead to rejecting good things in life and missing opportunities.   The episode continues with a discussion of two types of attitudes: the negative attitude and the "have to" attitude. Anthony encourages listeners to shift from negative attitudes by intentionally seeking the good in everything, even challenging situations.   He then tackles the "have to" attitude, highlighting the difference between viewing tasks as obligations versus opportunities. Anthony explains how the "get to" attitude can transform our lives, making us more open to experiencing abundance and freedom.   The podcast encourages listeners to question their attitudes and understand the "why" behind their actions. Shifting from "have to" to "get to" attitudes can lead to a more positive and impactful life.   In conclusion, Anthony Hart leaves listeners with a powerful message: "Take notice of your attitude. In this episode of the "In the Red Podcast" with Anthony Hart, the host begins by welcoming both new and returning listeners, expressing the hope that the episode's title has piqued their interest. He introduces himself as a pastor, acknowledging that this might cause some to hesitate but asks for a chance to be heard. The host emphasizes that the podcast discusses topics that can help people, especially those who may have been wounded or hurt in church or by Christians. He promises to provide truth, love, grace, and a genuine connection for those seeking to figure things out.   The host acknowledges that he doesn't have all the answers and stresses the importance of continuous learning and growth for Christians. He highlights the significance of unlearning and pruning, letting go of broken concepts and methods, and remaining humble on the journey of following Jesus.   The central theme of this episode is "honor." The host observes the lack of honor in society, including political systems and church communities. He discusses how dishonorable behavior often emerges when people are attacked or in emotional situations, emphasizing the importance of genuine, ingrained honor rather than a facade.   The host touches on the current state of politics, noting the dishonorable behavior displayed by leaders from various sides of the aisle. He expresses concern about power-seeking motivations in both political and church leadership roles.   He encourages those in positions of authority and titles to act honorably, even if they have made mistakes in the past. The host believes that acting honorably can shift the focus onto those who should honor you rather than demanding it based solely on a title.   He delves into the biblical concept of honor, referencing 1 Peter 3:17, which mentions that those who revel in good behavior will be rewarded. The host emphasizes that acting honorably should be independent of the other person's actions, and it's about restoring honor to a place or position, setting a new standard, and inviting others to follow suit.   Anthony discusses the importance of honoring parents, even if they were not honorable in their actions. He explains that honoring everyone, regardless of their actions or beliefs, is a Christian responsibility. The podcast concludes with a call for Christians to pray for their leaders and to operate in a manner that reflects honor.   Throughout the episode, Anthony emphasizes the significance of giving honor, even when it may not be deserved, as an act of Christian love and a way to invite positive change in society.   Let's Go!   Want more from Pastor Anthony? Welcome back to another episode of In the Red. We're thrilled you've joined us today as we dive deep into a topic that resonates with all of us: friendship. I'm your host, Anthony Hart, and I want to start by sharing something close to my heart. In today's fast-paced world, it's easy to feel isolated. Post-COVID, we've seen a spotlight shine on the issue of isolation, revealing its impact on our lives. It's a space where negativity breeds, where loneliness takes root, and where we often find ourselves cut off from the people who could lend a helping hand. But what if I told you that you hold the key to breaking free from isolation? What if I shared a concept that has transformed my life and the lives of those in my circle? In this episode, we embark on a journey to explore the value of friendship, connection, and community. I've witnessed firsthand how society's obsession with speed, individualism, and materialism has eroded the sense of community that once thrived in our villages. But we can change that. Together, we'll rediscover the power of true friendship and the concept of the village. It's about recognizing that every person brings unique gifts to the table. Just as in a traditional village where individuals have their own strengths and contributions, we, too can come together to support and uplift each other. We'll discuss the importance of actively seeking friendship, not as a means of self-pity or therapy, but as an opportunity to grow together. It starts with looking in the right places, examining your own attitude, and understanding what you bring to the table. And let's not forget the greatest friend of all, the one who laid down his life for us, Jesus. His love and friendship are foundational, and embracing them can transform the way we connect with others. So, if you've been on the quest for true friendship or have felt the weight of isolation, this episode is for you. Join us as we explore the journey from searching for friends to becoming a friend, and discover the beauty of building your own village. Thank you for tuning in to In the Red with Anthony Hart. Your Mouth Will Reveal You

Welcome to another captivating episode of "In the Red Podcast" with your host, Anthony Hart. Here we are again, you and me, ready to dive into some thought-provoking insights. But hold on, this isn't going to be a run-of-the-mill exciting topic. I'm thrilled to be with you today, as always, sharing thoughts that stem from the world around us. I'm Anthony Hart, and I'm about to explore a topic that's both challenging and transformative – "Your Mouth Will Reveal You."   If you know anything about me, you'll realize that I thrive on fresh perspectives. It's about breaking free from echo chambers and expanding our horizons. We often tend to surround ourselves with like-minded people, but that's where we limit our growth. The danger lies in becoming stagnant, locked in our ways, and excusing it with "that's just who I am." But let's face it, that statement often covers up a lousy attitude or self-imposed limitations that drain our vitality and drive those around us crazy.   Being around people who continually demand, drain, and exhibit a needy attitude can be suffocating. As a pastor, I genuinely love helping people and walking through life with them. But even I find it challenging to pastor my friends because I see the value in having relationships where relaxation, mutual growth, and genuine connection flourish.   The key is balance, surrounding ourselves with friends who uplift and enrich our lives, rather than solely relying on us for support. I've found friendships where neediness isn't the defining characteristic. Jay, a friend who's had his seasons of need and support, stands as an example of such a balanced relationship.   So, let's dive into today's theme: "Your Mouth Will Reveal You." You might be thinking, "Why should I care about my words?" Well, here's why: Out of the abundance of your heart, your mouth speaks. Your words carry weight – they reflect the essence of who you are. Think about it, have you ever noticed the disconnect between what someone says and how they truly feel? That's where the problem lies.   But let's talk scripture for a moment, even if you're not big on that. I'm here to provide insights that transcend boundaries. The Bible holds wisdom that often goes overlooked due to various reasons. We tend to weaponize it rather than embrace its life-affirming truths.   I've seen negativity on social media – a platform that's both a source of content and frustration. It's where I've found material for our discussions. Negative voices often shout the loudest, driven by insecurity and a desire to validate themselves by tearing others down. They react, attack, and argue, guided by an inner turmoil.   But here's the crux: "Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks." You might be wondering about the relevance of fruit and vegetables in all this. Well, bear with me. Fruit contains seeds, and when planted, they grow into more fruit-bearing trees. In essence, they perpetuate life. Similarly, your words can either spread life or destruction.   When you say you're a Christian, you're essentially claiming a platform. And platforms come with audiences. Your actions then are watched and evaluated by that audience. This leads us to the concept of fruit in Scripture, especially the fruit of the Spirit – love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.   Let's Go!   Want more from Pastor Anthony? Check him out on the FIT Network Resource Hub https://www.fitinfaithmedia.com/mediaapp   And on the Founder Collective Podcast https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-founder-collective-podcast/id1673059154 Let's not forget Peter – impulsive and imperfect. He's the rock upon which the church was built. Relationships are key to accountability – a relationship grants you access to hold someone accountable. It's not about public berating, but fostering growth.   So, I challenge you to examine your words and actions. Do they reflect life, positivity, and the fruit of the Spirit? Are you contributing to the positive voice, or are you perpetuating negativity? Your mouth will reveal you. Let's stand together, speak life, and make a lasting impact. This is Anthony Hart, signing off. Until next time, let's go.
