I'm so pumped to have you back for another episode of Do Life Big! Today's episode is going to be short, sweet, and packed with some serious value. I decided to record this one after I announced that my husband and I are starting the 75 Hard Program. If you haven't caught that bonus episode, go listen to #103 first! So, here's the deal. Lately, I've been hearing from so many of you who are feeling overwhelmed, trying to juggle all the things—kids, work, health, you name it. It's easy to get caught up in that all-or-nothing mentality, where if we can't do it all, we end up doing nothing. But let me tell you, it doesn't have to be that way! That's why today, I'm sharing 5 simple ways to protect your inner peace, especially when life gets chaotic: Start Small: Forget the all-or-nothing mentality. Just start with one tiny change—like drinking more water or moving your body a little each day. Something is always better than nothing. Pair New Habits with Old Ones: Got a good habit already? Use it to build a new one! If you drink tea every night, why not use that time to read a book or listen to something uplifting? Focus on Progress, Not Perfection: Life isn't going to go exactly as planned, and that's okay! Celebrate the small wins, no matter how tiny they seem. Live in the Gain, Not the Gap: Stop comparing yourself to where you think you should be. Instead, focus on how far you've come and celebrate the progress you've made. Surround Yourself with Positivity: Whether it's a supportive Facebook group (like ours!), uplifting podcasts, or daily affirmations, fill your life with things that lift you up. We've got to ditch that all-or-nothing mindset and start embracing the little wins. So grab your cup of tea, and let's get into how you can start making those small but mighty changes that will keep your inner peace intact. Can't wait for you to hear this one! He also shares a personal story of overcoming a previous failure by successfully summiting a mountain he couldn't conquer before. We introduce the concept of the aggregation of marginal gains, which focuses on making small, sustainable improvements in various aspects of life. We provide practical examples of how to apply this concept to nutrition, exercise routines, sleep and recovery, consistency, lifestyle factors, and social support and emphasize the long-term benefits of the aggregation of marginal gains. Takeaways The 75 Hard program may not be suitable for everyone, especially those with multiple commitments and responsibilities. The aggregation of marginal gains is a more sustainable approach to achieving long-term success in fitness goals. Making small, consistent improvements in various aspects of life, such as nutrition, exercise routines, sleep and recovery, and lifestyle factors, can lead to significant overall improvement. Seeking professional guidance and surrounding oneself with a supportive community can enhance motivation and accountability. The focus should be on continuous improvement and long-term sustainability rather than quick fixes and radical changes. Until Next Time…out of role!

Now he's on a mission to set others free with the truth, so of course we took some time to discuss many hard truths that men need to embrace if they want to realize their full potential. In advance, I apologize for the constant shaking of the camera in the video version of this podcast. I tend to speak with my hands quite often and to get my point across, I kept hitting the table. In this podcast I go on a rant/discussion about finishing the Live Hard program over the last year, I talk about the loneliness epidemic we're facing across the globe right now, and I even mention a neat study about chimpanzees.Make sure you give it a listen and share the message with your friends, family members, and like minded people you interact with on a daily basis.Feels great to put out another podcast and I hope to be doing these more often as so much as my time allows it. In Episode 116 I sit down once again with my longtime friend Chad Youngquist and discuss the completion of the 75 Hard Program. I was on day 74 at the time of the recording and Chad had completed the program earlier in the year and has additionally completed the follow-on Phase 1. This program is a physical and mental challenge that prepares you to live a disciplined life and teaches you how to prioritize the aspects of your life that are necessary to win across the board. It's not some trendy fitness challenge. 75 Hard will challenge every part of your being and force you to come out on the other end a better version of yourself if you're willing to adhere to the strict guidelines set forth by my friend Andy Frisella. Chad and I delve into so many details about the program and so much more! On August 2, 2021 I started 75 Hard for 2 reasons. I like a good mental toughness challenge and I wanted to get super disciplined. At the time, I'd heard of the Phases that follow the initial 75 days, but didn't have any expectation of doing them or not. Well, August 1, 2022 was Day 30 of Phase 3 and my life was in a completely different place. I completed, as a mom of 2 little boys, a full year of the Live Hard Program. What I didn't know was that the past year would change my business, my mindset, and my LIFE. This podcast and my business were both birthed during this time. And while it wasn't about weight loss for me, I did get back to my pre-kids weight within the first month of 75 Hard. A big chunk of the time during this challenge my husband was gone too. Yet — I did it. In this episode, you get to hear HOW all of that went down, what 75 Hard entails as well as what is required during Phase 1, 2, and 3 of the Live Hard Program, what I loved about it, what I will not miss ONE bit, and some of the biggest lessons I learned. If you're thinking about taking on 75 Hard or just need a bit of inspiration for your week, this episode is a MUST listen for you! Enjoy, mama friend! Welcome to a very special episode of Project All The Way.. Like life, the journey to personal growth is messy and weird and wholly unpredictable. In an effort to maintain homeostasis, keeping an eye on my thoughts and emotions requires vigilant focus. The ego doesn't sleep or take time off and is always ready to jump in at a moment's notice to turn my life upside down. Today, I find myself picking up the pieces after one such incident. Joining me to talk about it and help put humpty back together again is my friend, brother, and men's coach Matt Halson. Get a behind the scenes look at what men's work is all about as Matt and I discuss what happened that fateful night, and what I'm going to do moving forward to mitigate any additional fallout. I promised to share the good, the bad and the ugly of my personal growth journey as it happens in real time, and this unfortunately has ugly written all over it. I am not proud of what you're about to hear, yet I am hopeful that it serves as a warning sign for men and anyone who is on a path to personal development that months and months of trust building can be gone in the blink of an eye. Without any further ado, here is my awkward and extremely humbling conversation with Matt. If you are familiar with the 75 Hard Program developed by Andy Frisella, you probably know that reaching "Day 75" isn't the end for many people. 75 Hard is actually just part of a year long program that Andy refers to as Live Hard -- and Phase 1 of this program is probably the most well known...even infamous...part of the process. The hosts of the Time To Grind Podcast, Kim and Brent, are both veterans of 75 Hard. Each of them completed the two and a half month process without a fail, and both decided to move on to participate in the Live Hard program. They have two COMPLETELY different takes and takeaways from Phase 1 -- which is what this episode of Time To Grind is all about. This lively conversation about Phase 1 of Live Hard is completely candid and gives two entirely different perspectives on this 30 day experience. Cold showers...Power Lists...Critical Tasks...Visualization...they cover it all and MORE.At the end of Episode 11, Kim and Brent pivot slightly into a discussion of making personal growth SUSTAINABLE over the long term...a lifestyle. After finishing two full months of 75 Hard, I decided to do some reflection on what I've learned from this experience so far. I have to admit that this is probably the hardest I've pushed myself in a long time from a physical and mental perspective and it has been much needed. On this episode, I share 5 things I've learned in hopes that you will benefit from without actually doing the challenge (although I highly encourage you to). Here's the link to Andy Frisella's 75 Hard Program (it's free to do).Connect with me:Instagram | @danielkimbleydcFacebook | https://www.facebook.com/daniel.kimbley.5Medium | https://medium.com/@danielkimbleyConnect with Nexus Family Chiropractic:Instagram | @nexusfamilychiropracticFacebook | https://www.facebook.com/nexusfamilychiropractic/YouTube | https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbUzsA22gT7UseaFy-rzkVg?view_as=subscriberWeb | https://www.nexusfamilychiropractic.com/
I was wrong.I thought I was giving it ALL I had.Every day, every rep, every speaking engagement or coaching session. I had been locked in. ( So I thought)Then I thought to myself, what if i'm at that moment right now... that moment where David Goggins says, “when you think you're giving YOUR best, you're really only operating at about 40% of your capacity”.At that moment I challenged myself and created an environment that I knew would push me to see if it really was true. I committed to #75Hard.I set it up so that I would finish the 75 days on my mothers birthday (September 18th) so I knew that would keep me pushing on the days when I didn't feel like it.I had several breakthroughs during those 75 days and I talk about them on this weeks episode of #TheBurnPodcast. (Plus I've got a little challenge for YOU)I want to thank my brother @andyfrisella for the inspiration and push to take his #75Hard challenge and we are not done here. You can watch the full episode here, but if you head over to Youtube we've timestamped the different parts of the video so YOU can easily get to my challenge for YOU.JOIN 75 HARD HERE#ironsharpensiron#75hardchallenge
When one door closes, another opens. With my daughter having returned to college, I've decided to take on a HUGE CHALLENGE. I've begun the 75 Hard Mental Toughness Program created by Andy Frisella. For 75 days straight, you do five things every single day, including what amounts to 90 minutes of workouts. It's not a fitness challenge per se. More of a mindset reset. A chance to reinvent and rediscover who you are, and who you can be.If your identity has been wrapped up in a role that's winding down (you're an empty nester, or just retired) maybe taking on an AUDACIOUS GOAL like this is just the thing to help you develop your new identity. In this episode, I talk about the 75 Hard Program, and also a little thing called the Anthony Robbins fire walk experience, which I've done twice.Follow my 75 Hard progress on Instagram.
