The Brooklyn Nets took the court for their first regular-season game of the year against the Milwaukee Bucks had a rough go of it. On paper, Kevin Durant and James Harden had strong games with the latter dropping 32 points and the latter nearly hitting a triple-double. But the game was a sloppy one for the Nets who looked out of sync throughout. They struggled to keep Giannis Antetokounmpo and company off the offensive boards and had untimely turnovers as well. The Locked on Nets guys are on the podcast directly following the third preseason game for Brooklyn, this one a loss to the Philadelphia 76ers. It was a very sloppy game for the Nets who ended up with 26 turnovers when it was all said and done. It was tough to watch at times. One of the bright spots was the play of Kevin Durant who finished with 23 points on 9-13 shooting in his 26 minutes. But there was plenty to get discouraged about. James Harden continues to look a bit rusty, though he was able to get into some vintage parts of his game. And in general, the Nets had no answer for Joel Embiid early in the game. While there is some chance it is settled prior to their regular-season home debut, that is looking increasingly unlikely. The guys talk about what this means for the team as the season draws closer and how they might have the depth to deal with it in the short term.
