En este episodio conversamos con Jordi Planas y Enric Tello sobre su artículo ‘Dos modelos de especialización ganadera en el último siglo: el Vallès Oriental, 1920-2020', publicado en el número 97 de la revista Historia Agraria. Sobre el artículo: A lo largo del siglo XX, el crecimiento urbano y los cambios en las pautas alimentarias impulsaron una expansión de la producción ganadera, especialmente en las áreas rurales más próximas a las grandes ciudades donde se concentraba la demanda de alimentos. Ello dio lugar a modelos de especialización ganadera distintos, tanto desde el punto de vista social como ambiental. En este artículo, comparamos dos modelos de producción ganadera que se sucedieron en una comarca vecina de la ciudad de Barcelona antes y después de la Revolución Verde, atendiendo a sus consecuencias económicas, sociales y ambientales: uno con explotaciones tradicionales aun básicamente orgánicas y otro en el que la actividad ganadera se transformó en una producción agroempresarial en granjas de engorde muy desintegradas de su entorno agrícola. Esta evolución muestra la gran transformación del sistema agroalimentario global en el último siglo, y sugiere la necesidad de seguir estudiando ese contraste. L'escriptor lloretenc Jordi Soliguer presentarà aquest dimarts al vespre la biografia de Valentí Soliguer Pujol, titulada “El mestre d'obres de Sant Pere del Bosc”. L'acte es farà a les vuit del vespre al Pati de l'Erol, al costat de la parròquia de Sant Romà. El llibre recupera la figura del seu besavi, d'un personatge vinculat a la construcció i a la història de Sant Pere del Bosc. Jordi Soliguer, explica que ha volgut dedicar-li aquesta biografia al seu besavi, després d’adonar-se per casualitat, que va ser una figura molt important per Lloret de Mar i que moltes de les seves obres van ser atribuïdes a altres persones, com ara el seu propi pare. «Valentí Soliguer va ser el meu besavi i també va ser un gran mestre d’obres d’aquella època. Va fer una sèrie de construccions importantíssimes a Lloret, que van deixar empremta».Jordi Soliguer Va ser en l’època que els indians invertien aquí i en què els senyors feien les seves cases per venir a estiuejar, explica Soliguer. Una època florent de la construcció que l’autor del llibre considerava important que quedés immortalitzada. «Ell va fer moltes obres, unes d’elles va ser Villa Loreto, un edifici davant del mar ubicat cap a Ponent que va ser enderrocat als anys seixanta».Jordi Soliguer Valentí Soliguer, també va ser el constructor de la cúpula de la Capella del Santíssim, que forma part de l’Església de Sant Romà. «Va construir també la Capella del Santíssim, una obra que va pagant gelats i que encara podem admirar».Jordi Soliguer Tanmateix, també va fer Sant Pere del Bosc, d’aquí el títol del llibre. «Ell va ser l’home de confiança de Nicolau Font i va fer-li totes les obres des de la caseta del capellà, fins a muntar l’àngel». La historia de Jordi no empieza con un arma.
