Thirteen men walked into the woods of Paturis Park seeking a moment of freedom, only to be met by a predator who treated their lives like a "social cleansing." In a case where the justice system's silence was as deafening as the gunshots, the line between the hunters and the law began to blur. From 2007 to 2008, the busy suburbs of São Paulo were haunted by a serial killer who specifically targeted gay and bisexual men in their most vulnerable sanctuaries. This chilling gay murder case exposed the deep-rooted "impunity" within the Brazilian legal system, where victims were blamed for their own deaths and the investigation was sabotaged by systemic bias. Join us as we track the hunt for the Rainbow Maniac, explore the high-stakes DHPP investigation into a retired military officer, and examine one of the most prolific unsolved LGBTQ+ mysteries in true crime history. This episode dives deep into a queer history of survival and the 2011 trial that left an entire community demanding justice.Hosted by Jordi and Brad, Beers With Queers brings chilling crimes, queer stories, and twisted justice to light—all with a cold one in hand. Welcome to Pulse: Amplify, where we sit down with the leaders and changemakers shaping the future of health. Jordi Piera Jiménez joins Pulse to unpack the foundations of digital health.Fresh from stepping down as Director of Digital Health Strategy at the Catalan Health Service, Jordi reflects on what most health systems are still getting wrong: interoperability that's more theatre than reality, AI built on poorly structured clinical data, and the dangerous confusion of digital transformation with IT procurement. We explore why public health systems should own their digital infrastructure, how procurement can be a powerful lever for change, and why clinicians must be better supported to understand that documentation is the core of modern healthcare.Jordi shares a bold vision for the next decade: true digital public infrastructure, genuine patient agency over data, and platform economies that drive innovation without vendor lock-in.A thoughtful, systems-level conversation about infrastructure, governance, ethics — and getting the foundations right.Connect with Jordi: LinkedInVisit Pulse+IT.news to subscribe to breaking digital news, weekly newsletters and a rich treasure trove of archival material. Support the show

From a back-corner “unofficial” interview at Bitcoin Investor Week, Jordi Visser explains why AI is the real macro driver and why markets can grow even without hiring as profit margins expand. He breaks down the shocking new correlation: Bitcoin tracking software ETFs, driven by liquidity, multiple compression, and the collapse of VC funding as AI becomes the “new shiny toy.” The conversation goes deeper into AI agents transacting, the coming shift in consumer payments, and why NFTs return as proof-of-authenticity in a world where AI makes fakes effortless.

A quiet night in a small Alabama town ended in a brutal, fiery betrayal that shocked the nation. He wasn't just a victim of a crime; he was a man targeted for the simple truth of who he loved.Billy Jack Gaither was a well-liked, hard-working man who lived a quiet life in Sylacauga until a chance encounter at a local boat ramp turned into a horrific nightmare. This week, we examine the 1999 gay murder case that stripped away the veneer of small-town safety and exposed a deep-seated hate that demanded a reckoning. Billy Jack's story became a catalyst for change in the American legal system. We dive into the queer history of the Deep South to look at how a community heals when one of its own is taken by senseless violence.Hosted by Jordi and Brad, Beers With Queers brings chilling crimes and true crime with a queer perspective to light, all with a cold one in hand. A selfie of a beautiful couple posted to Instagram. A whispered secret exposed. And a queer icon found stabbed to death just 24 hours after lawmakers passed a massive anti-LGBTQ bill. When Georgian transgender model, actor and influencer Kesaria Abramidze posted a photo to her Instagram that publicly acknowledged her relationship, some say it triggered a fatal rage in her closeted partner, leading to her stabbing in her Tbilisi apartment. That killing came just one day after Georgia's parliament passed a sweeping anti-LGBTQIA+ bill that critics say entrenches stigma and emboldens hostility toward queer people, fueling fear that what might have been dismissed as domestic violence is actually entangled with state-sanctioned dehumanization of LGBTQIA+ lives. In this episode we explore who Kesaria was, the significance of that selfie and the dynamics of her relationship, and how her death became a flashpoint in ongoing debates about queer history, hate, and justice in a country where anti-LGBTQIA+ laws and rhetoric are on the rise.Hosted by Jordi and Brad, Beers With Queers brings chilling crimes, queer stories, and twisted justice to light all with a cold one in hand. Press play, grab a drink, and join us as we uncover not just a murder, but the cultural forces that shaped it. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

In this episode, we sit down with Jordi Hayes and John Coogan, the hosts of TBPN, a daily, live technology and business show that's quietly become one of the most premium properties in modern media. TBN runs three hours live every weekday across YouTube, Twitch, and RSS, blending the format of legacy TV with the energy of creator-led streaming. In just over a year, the show has built a loyal audience, hosted over 1,000 guests (including Sam Altman, Mark Zuckerberg, and Satya Nadella), and sold out every ad slot for the year ahead. In the conversation, John and Jordi break down their “anti-scale” philosophy: why they're intentionally staying niche, how they've built an influential audience of tech and business decision-makers, and why they believe the future of media belongs to great shows. We also go deep on their unique advertising strategy, which includes ultra-short host reads and season-long deals. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
