Through experiences both comical and trying, Courtney encourages mothers to live authentic, honest lives. Journey with her as she unmasks the expectations of motherhood and leans in to God’s design not only for us personally but for our children.
The Masquerade of Motherhood podcast, hosted by Courtney, is a truly refreshing and authentic listen. With her unwavering commitment to truth and realness, Courtney shares her experiences as a mother while also connecting them to scripture. This podcast has been a great source of blessings for me, as I often feel like God is speaking directly to me through Courtney's words. Her vulnerability is a special gift, and she has an incredible ability to relate to the experiences that many mothers go through. The episode where she discusses dropping off your kid at college especially resonated with me. Additionally, I appreciate the variety of special guests on the show and the dedicated prayer only Tuesdays. Overall, this podcast delivers amazing content and I am grateful for Courtney's gift.
One of the best aspects of The Masquerade of Motherhood podcast is how relatable it is. Courtney shares her own struggles as a mother, reminding us that we are all in this journey together and none of us have it completely figured out. This sense of camaraderie and understanding is truly comforting and encourages strength in being authentic rather than wearing a mask. Courtney's ability to connect personal experiences with scripture provides valuable insights and guidance.
While there aren't many negative aspects to highlight about this podcast, one potential drawback could be that it focuses primarily on motherhood. While this may not appeal to everyone, the title clearly indicates that it is centered around this topic, so it should come as no surprise. However, if you are not a mother or not interested in hearing about motherhood specifically, then this podcast may not be tailored to your interests.
In conclusion, The Masquerade of Motherhood podcast is an incredible resource for mothers seeking encouragement and support in their journeys through parenthood. Courtney's ability to bring together a community of moms through her genuine approach creates an environment where listeners can feel understood and uplifted. Her dedication to pointing mothers towards Jesus and the power of His grace is truly inspiring. Whether you are a new or seasoned mother, this podcast is definitely worth a listen.

On today's episode, Mimika Cooney is a leading faith-based Christian Mindset Author and Speaker known as the "Personal Trainer for your Mind". She empowers ambitious Christians to rewire their brain by combining neuroscience, positive psychology, and a faith-based approach. Mimika and I talk about Internal brokenness, how we must look at ourselves and do the work before we expect different results from our children. We explore questions like, What is happening in this generation where we are all becoming accolade addicted? How do we take back our thoughts? How do we break the rules of what society tells us? How do we get back to being human "beings," NOT human "doings" and how do we model this behavior for our children? Mimika will teach you how to unstick your mind, develop emotional resilience, and unlock high performance by becoming the boss of your brain! She is the creator of the “Unstick Your Mind“ a mindset mastery method, a transformative program that equips Christians with the tools to achieve their breakthroughs. Have you ever been in a situation where one thing happened after another that lined up so perfectly it was almost too unbelievable? Maybe you have looked back and realized this “happenstance” wasn't happenstance at all but a kindness, a redeeming that the Lord so masterfully put into place? This is the story of Ruth, the bold, willing, risk taker who was deeply loyal to her Mother in Law and seen, not only by Boaz but by God. Connect with Courtney: Website~Instagram~Facebook
