If you've ever felt like you're stuck in patterns you can't explain—overreacting, shutting down, or constantly trying to prove yourself—this episode will reveal the hidden emotional wounds behind those behaviors and how to finally break free.In today's solo episode, Robert shares a deeply personal exploration of emotional healing, inspired by the book Heal Your Wounds and Find Your True Self by Lise Bourbeau. He discusses the five core emotional wounds—rejection, abandonment, humiliation, betrayal, and injustice—and the behavioral "masks" people unconsciously adopt to protect themselves from these wounds. Drawing from his own life and recent experiences in spiritual workshops and retreats, Robert reflects on how these wounds have shaped his personality, behaviors, and relationships. He explains that each wound typically originates in early childhood, often in connection with the parent of the same or opposite sex, and leads to specific defense mechanisms such as withdrawal, dependency, control, or rigidity. Through stories and examples from his own journey—including moments of humor and vulnerability—Robert brings to life the ways these patterns can show up in everyday situations, such as perfectionism, fear of abandonment, and difficulty expressing one's true needs.Central to his message is the idea that healing begins with awareness. He emphasizes the importance of recognizing our wounds, acknowledging the masks we wear, and approaching ourselves with compassion. Rather than viewing emotional triggers as problems, Robert encourages listeners to see them as gifts—opportunities to heal and grow. He highlights the spiritual perspective that our souls intentionally choose life circumstances to confront and resolve these wounds, and that true healing involves not only forgiveness, but gratitude for the lessons they bring.Tune in to episode 55 of RADitude and discover how understanding your core emotional wounds can lead to powerful healing, deeper self-compassion, and a more authentic, love-filled life.In This Episode, You Will Learn:The Journey of Self-Discovery and Healing (3:13)Understanding Core Wounds and Their Impact (6:07)Exploring the Wound of Rejection (8:56)The Wound of Abandonment and Its Effects (11:49)Humiliation: The Mask of the Masochist (15:09)Betrayal: The Controller's Struggle (17:59)Injustice: The Rigid Mask and Its Consequences (20:53)Steps to Healing and Embracing Compassion (24:13)The Gift of Wounds and the Path to Love (27:11)Let's connect!WebsiteContact UsLinkedInInstagramFacebookTwitter Hosted on Acast. In this episode of The P.A.S. Report, Professor Nick Giordano is joined by Dr. Mark Young, host of Blunt Force Truth, for a blunt and engaging conversation on the rebirth of common sense in America, the failure of Democrat leadership, and the rise of ordinary citizens pushing back. From President Trump and Elon Musk's mission to fix the government to the dangers of blind compliance during COVID, they dive deep into cultural decay, the erosion of common sense, and the political elitism within our institutions. Dr. Young explains why Democrats are doomed if they continue to die on unpopular policy hills, and how many Americans seek the pursuit of comfort over courage, accountability, and the hard work required to restore the nation. Episode Highlights: • President Trump, Elon Musk, and others are committed to address national issues and effect meaningful change, despite their substantial wealth, as they clearly don't need the power, recognition, or political battles that come with it. • How Democrats are alienating voters by clinging to fringe issues.  • The real reason younger generations obey, comply and disconnect.

Austin Frerick is an economist, Yale Fellow, former Congressional Research Assistant, and author of Barons: Money, Power, and the Corruption of America's Food Industry. He investigates how the U.S. food system became both outrageously expensive and dangerously toxic—not just for consumers, but for the farmers who grow our food. Instead of blaming deregulation alone, Frerick exposes the real culprits: the Big Ag monopolies that have spent billions to rig the system, buy politicians, and crush opposition to expand their hidden empires. We break down how these corporate Barons pulled off their silent coup, the devastating impact of monopolization on farming, food prices, and public health. Most importantly, we explore what can be done to take back control of the food system before it's too late. Don't miss the historic cosmology summit in Portugal this summer!!! In this episode of 'Spiritual Brain Surgery,' Dr. Lee Warren and his co-host Tata discuss the importance of maintaining faith during hard times, and a surprising lesson on how God loves us and how he can't stand it when we suffer because of sin from Judges 10:16. Set against the serene backdrop of a wintery Sunday afternoon by the North Platte River, the conversation delves into the Bible, highlighting lessons from the book of Judges and Ruth. They explore how the Israelites repeatedly turned to idols despite God's persistent guidance and how this reflects our modern struggles with faith and sin. The discussion underscores the need for self-examination, reliance on God, and the power of redemption through Jesus. The episode also includes shout-outs to listeners Lori and Rodney, sharing their challenges and seeking divine guidance amidst grief and loss. Guy and Angell discussed the discomfort often felt from being misaligned in life and the concept of 'being hit by spirit' as a catalyst for change. Angell shared his own transformative journey from a successful corporate background to embracing shamanic work, emphasizing the need to reconnect with nature and ancestral wisdom. The conversation touches on the growing interest in spiritual transformation post-COVID-19 and the importance of engaging with traditional teachings to navigate modern life's challenges. About Angell: Angell Deer is an ordained minister, mystic, medicine man, teacher, permaculturist, beekeeper, international speaker and lover of all forms of life.  He has dedicated his life to remembering, learning, and teaching ancient wisdom through the lineages of Andean Cosmology and Norse Shamanism. His passion is to weave words and stories, people and places, darkness and light, wounds and love, ancient and modern times.  Deeply committed to the healing of this world, he is heartbrokenly inspired by our shared humanity. I love systems. And I love systems for leadership even more.  We want a reliable way of building leadership capability that inoculates against power abuse and tyranny. How can we embrace new systems to bring leadership alive across the entire organisation? We need a systemic change in how we think about encouraging leadership. It starts with reimagining the geometry of an organization: from triangles we need to move to circles. Then working on expanding the power of the individual. My guest for T-TOK (Tea Time in the Office Kitchen) is Paul McCarthy, author of The F.I.R.E.D. Leader and he is on a mission to reshape the conversation about , and how we need to shift how we recruit, train, and practice leadership if we are to normalise disruption and survive the era of exponential change. --- Become a Podcast Insider for subscriber only bonuses including an implementation checklist, discussion questions, water cooler factoids, and special subscriber-only offers. FARGO SEASON 5 - EPISODE 8 “Blanket” Recap TRIGGER WARNING: Due to the graphic depiction of domestic violence and coercive control in Episode 8, our discussion contains equally graphic descriptions that may be upsetting. Please exercise caution when listening.  Lisa and Dean react to this traumatizing and powerful episode which delivers the confrontation we all knew was coming: a death match showdown between Dot and Tillman. As Tillman's obsession with Dot increases, so does her desperation to escape his control. We analyze Tillman's malevolence and the amazing writing of this character. We also breakdown the metaphor of Dot being chained in the barn which symbolizes so tragically the literal chains that many victims of domestic abuse carry with them, no matter how far away they get from the abuser. Can a survivor ever really be free of these binds, psychologically, spiritually free? We certainly hope so for Dot's sake. Lisa and Dean also shout out Lamorne Morris' portrayal of good Trooper Witt Farr, whose decency and depth elevate the show. Join us for so much more discussion on this complex episode.
