Whitney got married in September 2022 in a beautiful little resort on the backside of the Tetons. It was an intimate, aligned, authentic ceremony and celebration that I was lucky to attend with my partner. In this episode we discuss Whitney's journey in planning their wedding, how she/they stayed centered in flow and alignment, how they handled when things inevitably didn't go 'perfectly', and a lot of joyful, fun details! Tis the season for witches. As Halloween approaches and images of the witch surround us, what do we really know or need to know about the history of witches, how it's intertwined with the oppression of women's rights, and what the affects or influences the witch narrative still has on women today. For this conversation, Whitney and I brought in my dear soulsister and historian Hannah to shed more knowledge and insight, and of course, to make a coven of 3.

Although the path through personal, spiritual and relationship growth and development is messy, and never ending, it does not mean that it is always actively hustling and bustling. Whitney and I are both in phases of deep growth and integration. And both of us keep getting messages from the universe to SLOW DOWN and REST. So what does that look like, sound like, feel like? This leads us to a conversation around envy. While we may be at different depths and rest moments of our journey, we talk through the struggles of seeing other people in action points in theirs. Join us through this flowy, coaching, supportive conversation. Let us know where you are along your messy path right now? Are you in a rapids? A swiftly moving stream with the wind at your back? Whitney hit a big milestone birthday in September 2021. Because she is the amazing and inspirational coach that she is, she is sharing the 35 things she's learned in her 35 years around the sun! We're splitting this conversation into two parts so you get the most of Whitney's story sharing, resources, and inspirations! 35 List (continued from Episode 60) 18. Give thanks for each relationship, even if they end in flames - you learned and needed some aspect of the experience 19. Enter every situation with a beginners mind. Even if it's something you're an expert in. There's always more to learn. 20. Learn how to FEEL your feelings without becoming them. There's a big difference. 21. Know that you'll never have the same conversation twice, everyone in your life is always changing, as are you. 22. Change may feel foreign but it can end up being the most comforting feeling. 23. Even on your darkest days, you're never alone. One of the other 7 billion people on the planet is feeling the same thing you are in their own life. 24. The fears you have are not unique, they can be overcome. They're a guide post of where you're ready to expand next. 25. Learn a different language, it will help you see differently in daily life. 26. Study other religions and beliefs than the one you were raised with, it will show you that all humans are looking for the same comfort and support. 27. Don't be afraid to change mid-stream. Sometimes you have to explore something to realize it's not for you. 28. Push yourself to go further than you thought you could. There's always enough energy for one or two more steps on the path. 29. Find a belief, practice, or place that bring you comfort - use it often. 30. Don't hide what you're truly feeling. You'll regret not being real with someone more than you'll ever regret "losing face" 31. There is no external person, place or thing that will ever fill the hole of love. You must first love yourself and create things you love in your life. 32. If you admire someone, tell them. We all need support and to honor our gifts. 33. Don't ever downplay your talents, someone admires you for them. 34. A genuine conversation will mean more to someone than 'keeping it safe' with small talk. 35. Take the time each day to be present with your surroundings - feel the air, smell what's around you, touch the nearest surface... ground yourself here if only for a moment. Let us know what resonated with you! What are you being called to work on? What do you feel like wisdom of age and experience has taught you? Share with us! 35 List: 1. Your intuition is always right 2. You won't have to second guess if a friendship or relationship is "genuine" if you are questioning, it's not genuine. 3. Working your ass off for a future goal (when it's set by someone else - ie a boss) is never going to leave you 100% happy 4. Take at least one solo 4+ day vacation 5. Take the time to figure out what your ideal day is and do your damndest to make part of it blend into each day (even if you're working a job you hate) 6. Start honoring your budget NOW (and it doesn't have to be painful!) Resource: I will teach you to be rich by Ramit Sethi 7. Take your fears and journal why they're not true, it's one of the most freeing exercises you can do 8. Time in nature is never wasted 9. When you feel you don't have any time "for you" is when it's most important to take time to step back, even for an hour 10. Don't worry about finding your "life's purpose," find your NOW purpose. You're a dynamic being - and life will change you Resource: Soul - 2020 Pixar film 11. Understand that each chapter of life will have a different focus, different energy. Don't judge each chapter on it's own but look at the whole 12. Ask yourself each day "What does my soul need most?" and do your best to give it to yourself 13. Take up a hobby you had or wanted in childhood as an adult, it will fill your spirit 14. Take time to get to know yourself, outside of societal expectations. Strip all the "could, would and should" away and ask "who am I"? (Don't answer with labels like "mom, friend, job title.") 15. Find something you admire in every person you meet. It'll help you be more open to all possible connections in life. 16. Do your best to understand differing perspectives. We are all having unique and connecting human experiences 17. Don't put anything on a timeline. It will come when it needs to. (Continued in episode 61) If you're interested in working with either of us, we both offer free consultation calls! One of Ariel's favorite tools in a Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) session is to identify how old scenes, beliefs, and emotions aren't part of you anymore! Within the RTT school, this tool is referred to as "that's not me." Whether done subconsciously through hypnosis - as in an RTT session, or consciously, the impact of identifying you are no longer that former version of yourself is very empowering! This discussion came forward after Whitney shared her own "that's not me anymore" example from her personal life! "I should be further in my career by now." "I should be married/have babies by this age." "We've been together this long, we should be married by now." Any of these sound familiar? Whether you are receiving pressure regarding where you "should" be in life at any given time by a direct person in your life - like mom/ partner/ friends, or your ego is feeling the general societal should pressure imposed by the patriarchy throughout time, the pressure to be where you "should" be is something many of us battle with. So what's the difference between external 'shoulds,' contrast that sparks manifestation, or aligning to your needs, wants and desires? How can you determine the difference between the 'shoulds' and soulful alignment? In this episode, Whitney and Ariel explore how we have worked on releasing the 'shoulds' and living through alignment - connecting to our inner truth and guidance in leading our own life, and helping others connect to theirs. What are you thinking you 'should' be doing at this point of your life that doesn't feel in alignment to how you feel and your alignment? How have you moved through contrasting shoulds? For this week's episode, Whitney and Ariel tried something entirely new! We started the recording after a 5-minute meditation, connecting into ourselves, then began talking and responding from that tranquil, connected place inside ourselves - with each other! So yes, this was like a double inner voice conversation, where we both stayed in a tranquil connected space, most of the time with our eyes closed, or breathing down in fo the responses as we went along! Join us in this very flowy conversation about relationships and business! Our big takeaway form doing this exercise is just how important and easy it is to connect into yourself. I have not edited out the pauses in our conversation, so any lag is from us breathing in, tuning in to our inner voices for the response. We really enjoyed doing this and want to show you the benefits as well! We'll often use exercises similar to this with clients. Why is it harder to go from 'good' to 'great', than it is from 'bad to good'? Whitney and Ariel received this question from a listener and we took off with it! Often this is described as our "upper limiting beliefs" and can come as quite a shock when we feel like "we've been doing the work" and now come to yet another block in our road. As we process through in the episode, this is all just part of that messy path of the human growth experience - understanding and navigating through all the bumps, turns, and rocks along the journey. We delve into mindset, manifestations, resistance, and tools to help process through! Share your thoughts! Message us - do you think it's harder to go from 'good to great' than 'bad to good'? Recently, Ariel has been receiving more and more messages to 'work in the light' which has lead her to learning to read the Akashic Records. However, the Akashic Records, which hold all the information from our soul's journey, can be an overwhelming experience. In this episode, Whitney, who has previously learned how to access the Akashic Records, delivers a reading for Ariel. We also have a conscious chat about their experiences in the Records, and processing 'downloads' or intuitive guidance. Although this conversation is a reading for Ariel, we think the the metaphors and processing information will be interesting for all to hear. Hope you enjoy! We'd like to host a Q&A episode soon! How can we battle the adage 'you fix the issues with your husband that you have with your dad?" Or are your relationships seeking "a bite to match the wound?" As a primary soul contract, it's no surprise that our relationships with our fathers or prominent masculine figures in our lives play a major role in our personal and spiritual growth journey. This week, Whitney and Ariel share their journey and development in handling their own "daddy issues," its effects on their relationships, and what has helped them navigate through these lessons.

What does working with a coach look like, feel like? How does it benefit you? When would a person consider working with a coach? What does coaching look like after an RTT session? Maya Angelou teaches us, "When someone tells you who they are, believe them the first time." But what does that mean, what does that look like as it plays out in relationships? How do you battle between knowing when is the right time to stay or go? Whitney and Ariel talk through examples from their own lives and client stories giving examples to these common relationship trials. Whitney is hosting her soul sister and family for the week, so I thought it'd be fun to bring in my soul sister as a guest cohost for this week's episode! Joining me today is Hannah Bailey! As we were getting ready to hit record, Hannah commented on how windy it was that day... and it launched this extensive existential conversation on the concept of wind - the winds of change, and we started with the question or idea - how long does it take to get to the wind? This conversation weaves in and out of manifestations, menstrual cycles, movie and literary symbolisms, spiritual growth and connection, the limitations of the body, child birth and the feminine ability to birth creation, time travel, destiny v. free will, I encounter deeper revelations about my signs from the universe, the significance of being present in time, the impact and insights Hannah received from her RTT with me, contrast, transcendentalism, love journeys, safety in expansion .... it's pretty packed! Warning, it's a longer episode, but it so fluidly moves through these concepts all under the thesis of wind, I couldn't get myself to clip it! So enjoy! We'll be back with Whitney next week! We take a modern look at creating and honoring soulful relationships. As we continuously move to break through antiquated patriarchal suppression in all aspects of our life and societal systems, today we explore what that looks like in terms of relationships. What does it mean and look like to honor soul contracts over legal contracts? As we continue to grow, expand and develop as soulful beings along our messy paths, what affect does that have on our partner relationships, friendships, partnerships, family orientations? How does that affect dating, breaking up, getting married, separating, breaking up, divorcing, conscious uncoupling? This episode is full of aha moments and breakthroughs for navigating the constant growth and journey of upgrading into modern soulful relationships. What are you really calling in from the Universe? This week, Ariel and Whitney uncover the light side of unintended manifestations, aka find the good part of the bad things that happen. We recorded this episode right after Thanksgiving when Ariel was a week into having Covid. Throughout the immense changes from the pandemic and other unexpected life events like getting covid, being fired, losing hours or pay cuts at work, break-ups, we look for the deeper meaning, message, and identify why we asked for this or what the benefit was. Often in life, we are not always privy to these types of answers, but doing inner work and having that observer mindset, help us find peace, guidance, and insight. Hopefully this episode will bring some light into your dark moments as well. Work with Ariel - ArielArnson.com | IG: @ariels_cosmos Work with Whitney - BeingOppen.com | IG: @whit_beingoppen
Positive space boundaries are often one of the most difficult aspects of our lives to set and maintain. With the rise of political tensions surrounding the Trump/Biden presidential race, cultural protests, the pandemic, and all of it being shared through social media, the need for healthy boundaries in our lives seems more pressing than ever. We talk about the importance and value of boundaries in your life. We discuss how to navigate political discussions and social media commentary, speaking and acting from your authenticity in sexual situations, navigating familial and partner relationships, how to establish and uphold emotional and energetic boundaries, and provide tips and suggestions from our own experiences. Whitney shares a great boundary reframing metaphor that boundaries are like guardrails to help guide and protect you along your journey. Ariel's reframe is from feeling like the hidden inner child, to the strong queen with an open heart. We also share a number of reflective questions to help process emotional boundary setting. We are also hosting a free virtual womxn's circle Thursday, January 21st at 8pm eastern time. We are currently pushing back the start of our more structured Messy Path Course. This is what is flowing forward as the best way to support you right now. Follow either of us on instagram or facebook for more information on future circles as well.
