Hear from Paul Stewart, co-founder of Albany's Underground Railroad Education Center, about all the activities afoot for the organization. UREC's tagline is "Learn the past, be the present, create the future," and the update shows each part. The future is a new Interpretive Center that will be housed in an 18th century Dutch barn renovated with state-of-the-art technology, including "net zero" design with solar panels, geothermal HVAC, and other environmentally progressive features. Appropriately, the ground-breaking will be on Earth Day, April 22nd. The present is heaps of activities open to all: tour "experiences" of a former residence of Stephen and Harriet Myers, two 1800's African-American abolitionists deeply involved with helping people escape the institution of slavery; a Young Abolitionists Institute to enhance youths' knowledge and skills; a reading club, monthly workshops, and much more. "Learn the past" underpins all of UREC's activities -- that, and connecting past to present. For more information, visit or, even better, stop by 194 Livingston Avenue in Albany (call ahead at 518-621-7793). Produced by Brea Barthel for Hudson Mohawk Magazine.
Sam Kuypers is a theoretical physicist who specialises in the physics of time. If you have the time, Sam can take up as much of it as you like telling you about how our ideas of time have changed…over time. As Sam will reveals: times, they are not a-changing. But there is change! Newtonian physics has a notion of time (or at least Newton himself did), Relativity as discovered by Einstein in the early 1900s radically transformed our notion of what time is and now, in the 21st Century, Sam Kuypers and others are beginning to develop a quantum theory of time. And this is why Sam joins me for this episode as we unpack time as a quantum concept: the very topic of Chapter 11 of “The Fabric of Reality” and go deep on Sam's more recent contributions to our understanding of the reality of time. Appropriately, time stamps are below. You may have to take your time with some of this. 00:00 - Introduction to this episode 05:04 - Introduction to Sam Kuypers 06:30 - The day-to-day of a theoretical physicist 10:30 - What led Sam to Oxford University 12:10 - What was Sam's doctoral thesis about? 15:20 - The importance of Everett 16:30 - “Classical” Time and “universal time”. 27:00 - Julian Barbour and time as a series of instants 30:35 - Spacetime and the timeless view of physical reality. 33:35 - The clash of General Relativity and Quantum Theory I 37:20 - The clash of General Relativity and Quantum Theory II 40:40 - c-numbers and q-numbers 42:30 - The significance of (non) commutability (i.e the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle). 46:05 - The Page-Wooters Construction (Quantum Time I). 53:15 - Can there be change if nothing is ever changing? The National Gallery opened its doors on 10th May 1824. The public could view 38 paintings, free. Now there are more than 2,300, including many masterpieces of European art by geniuses such as Rembrandt, Turner and Van Gogh. It is still free. The gallery's director, Gabriele Finaldi, guides Samira Ahmed through the collection. Artists Barbara Walker, Bob and Roberta Smith and Celine Condorelli, last year's artist-in-residence , choose paintings from the collection that are important to them, as does the critic Louisa Buck. The Sainsbury Wing is closed for building work, giving an opportunity to attend to the paintings there, and Samira visits the conservation studio and the framing workshop. She hears, too, from curator Mari Elin Jones in Aberystwyth about how during the Second World War the entire National Gallery collection was evacuated to a slate quarry in north Wales. The gallery's historians, Susanna Avery-Quash and Alan Crookham, show Samira photos of this period, and documents from the very beginning of the gallery. As part of the bicentennial celebrations 12 masterpieces are going to cities around the UK, to form the centre of exhibitions. Appropriately, Canaletto's 'The Stone Mason's Yard' will be going to Aberystwyth. From BBC Archive recordings we hear how Kenneth Clark and pianist Myra Hess organised lunchtime concerts held in the empty gallery, keeping cultural life going during the Blitz.Samira, Gabriele and Bob and Roberta first came to the National Gallery as children; Louisa Buck brought her children, who hunted for dragons in the paintings. The National Gallery is a welcoming, free, safe space for everyone, as a visitor, her baby asleep in his sling, happily explains.Presenter: Samira Ahmed Producer: Julian May
Steve Cannane - First Tests: Great Australian Cricketers and the Backyards That Made Them Steve Cannane has been a journalist for more than 30 years, and the ABC's senior foreign correspondent in Europe since 2021. But aside from his important work, his passion is cricket - for decades, he charged in every Saturday as an opening bowler. And it was with his club side, watching a teammate's unorthodox batting technique, where a question was planted: how much do the childhood backyards of players influence what we eventually see at the top level? The answer was a beautiful and much-loved book, First Tests. Originally published in 2009, but just as relevant now, we revisit these stories as Steve prepares to return to Australia. Appropriately, given how much he's loved hanging out in Soho while living in London, it was in a pub in the heart of town where Adam and Daniel Norcross recorded this most fulfilling interview. Text: Colossians 3:1-4 ESV 1 If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. 3 For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. - Col 3:1-4 ESV YOU HAVE BEEN RAISED WITH CHRIST Paul's use of "if" here is not really a question, but an assumption. He writes for those who are saved by faith in Christ. Appropriately, their goal was to live with an eternal perspective rather than a focus on the rules and regulations of this world. We live because Jesus lives. Christians are to set their minds above, because that is where Christ is. Christ didn't remain in the grave—He is at God's right hand. This was the consistent teaching of Jesus, and of the early church (see Luke 22:69; Acts 2:33; 5:31; 1 Peter 3:22). The "things of the earth" are associated with ungodly activities. This does not mean that believers should ignore all earthly concerns completely. It does, however, mean that believers ought to give their time and attention to things pleasing to God, rather than things pleasing to men. Or, using the things in this world as means to glorify God. Why? We have died and live in Christ. This metaphor that a believer has "died" to sin, in the sense of being separated from it. Thus, his life is "hidden," or "contained" within Christ. Let's remember that Christ is not only the giver and sustainer of life (Colossians 1:16); Christ is our life [v.4] And that we will appear with Him in glory. There is an anticipation to Christ's return at any moment. This is a subject both consistent and clear through the New Testament. When Christ "appears," believers will be with Him in glory (1 Thess 4:13–18; 1 John 3:2). ------------------------- Visit and FOLLOW Gospel Light Filipino on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram
We are saddened to hear of the passing of Joseph Lieberman, z'l, a great American patriot, and even greater member of the Jewish People. We interviewed Senator Lieberman in 2017, in one of our first episodes ever in this podcast. In tribute to his extraordinary life, we present this #TBT rebroadcast from the archives. May his memory be for a blessing!! ------------------ ABOUT THIS EPISODE Longtime Senator Joe Lieberman is one of the nation's most accomplished politicians, and also one of its most visible observant Jews. In this wide-ranging conversation, Lieberman cover a many topics, including: his childhood and grandmother's early Jewish influence; formative event like the elections of John F. Kennedy and the Martin Luther King Jr. march in Washington, D.C.; his own religious odyssey while at Yale University ("Sometimes you make big decisions that are really quite simple"); the therapeutic value of loss; pollster's Stanley Greenberg's "prophetic" advice; his shocking Senate victory; the question he has never been asked; the vice presidential campaign on the Al Gore ticket; the impact of his Sabbath observance and his book on that topic, The Gift of Rest (I think in the end that writing that book on Shabbat will be one of the most significant thing I've accomplished in my life."); what he's doing in his "retirement" (spoiler alert: A LOT); and his outlook on the future of the Jewish people ("I'm an optimist...I think the Jewish people is an eternal people.") Appropriately, this is Episode #7, as Lieberman's signature book and proudest quality has been his Sabbath-observance.

Obstetrical vacuum and forceps are incredible tools, when used correctly, to assist vaginal delivery. Appropriately selected and used, they can be pivotal in reducing the number of unnecessary cesareans and potentially decreasing certain fetal and maternal complications. However, there are several pearls of wisdom to remember when using them. In this episode, we will focus on a rare – but potentially fatal – complication of vacuum use: subgaleal hemorrhage. Although subgaleal hemorrhage can occur following normal birth processes, and even cesarean section, vacuum use is the strongest independent factor for its occurrence. In this, we will review these pearls of wisdom and the importance of detecting neonatal subgaleal hemorrhage quickly.

SynopsisFor most of the 20th century, women's history was almost totally ignored in American schools. To address this situation, an education task force in Sonoma County, California, initiated a women's history celebration in March 1978. What began as an annual Women's History Week grew over the years into a national celebration, and in 1987, Congress declared the whole of March to be Women's History Month.Appropriately enough, 1987 also saw the premiere performance of Joan Tower's Fanfare for the Uncommon Woman — music written for the same instrumentation as Aaron Copland's famous Fanfare for the Common Man.Originally, Tower chose to let the title of her Fanfare for the Uncommon Woman serve as a generic, built-in dedication to all the unsung heroes of women's struggles past and present. But eventually, Tower added a specific dedication to conductor Marin Alsop, a champion of new music.“I don't think you can play a piece of music and say whether it's written by a man or a woman,” Tower says. “I think music is genderless.”But festivals and celebrations of women in music remain important, in Tower's view, in helping to get the word out about their accomplishments.Music Played in Today's ProgramJoan Tower (b. 1938): ‘Fanfare for the Uncommon Woman'; Colorado Symphony; Marin Alsop, cond. Many commentators noted that Parashat Tesaveh is unusual, in that Moshe Rabbenu's name does not appear anywhere in this Parasha. It is one of the only Parashiyot since the account of Moshe's birth (in Parashat Shemot) that omits his name. The explanation given is that after the sin of the golden calf, G-d decided to annihilate Beneh Yisrael and create a new nation from Moshe, but Moshe interceded on the nation's behalf. He demanded that G-d forgive the people, adding, “…and if not, then erase me from Your book which You have written” (Shemot 32:32). A righteous person's words are so powerful that they have an impact even when spoken on condition – and therefore, although G-d indeed forgave Beneh Yisrael, Moshe's demand to be “erased” was fulfilled in some way, through the omission of his name from Parashat Tesaveh. The question naturally arises as to why Parashat Tesaveh was selected as the Parasha through which Moshe's plea would be fulfilled. What is unique about Parashat Tesaveh that Moshe's name was omitted specifically from this piece of text? One possibility is proposed by the Hida (Rav Haim Yosef David Azulai, 1724-1806), who noted that Moshe asked G-d to “erase” him from “Sifrecha” (“Your book”). This word could be read as a combination of the word “Sefer” and the letter “Chaf,” which in Gematria equals 20. Meaning, Moshe asked to be “erased from the 20 th “book” – and Parashat Tesaveh is the 20 th Parasha in the Torah. Therefore, his name is omitted from this Parasha. There may, however, be an additional explanation. Parashat Tesaveh begins with the command that pure olive oil be provided for the kindling of the Menorah in the Mishkan. The Gemara makes an enigmatic comment about olives and olive oil, teaching that eating olives has the effect of compromising one's ability to retain his Torah knowledge, whereas consuming olive oil has the precise opposite effect, enhancing one's ability to remember the Torah that he learns. The holy books explain the meaning behind this Talmudic teaching. An olive contains its oil within it, and thus represents the student of Torah who keeps his Torah knowledge for himself, without sharing it with others. Olive oil is what the olive has shared with the world, by allowing itself to be crushed. Hence, olive oil symbolizes the person who shares his Torah with other people. Scholars might be reluctant to teach because this takes precious time away from their own growth and development. The Gemara here instructs that to the contrary – it is specifically the “olive,” the person who keeps his Torah to himself, refusing to invest time and effort to teach, who is prone to forgetting what he has learned. But a person who resembles olive oil, who humbly takes the time to share his precious knowledge with other people, is guaranteed to be rewarded with the ability to retain the material he studies, despite the sacrifice he makes for the sake of teaching other people. The first time the olive is mentioned in the Torah is the story of Noah, who sent a dove to determine whether the waters had subsided after the flood. The dove returned with an olive branch, informing Noah that indeed, the world had again become habitable. In light of what we have seen, we could explain the significance of the olive in the story of Noah. The prophet Yeshayahu (54:9) refers to the flood as “Meh Noah” – “the waters of Noah,” and the Zohar explains that Noah is blamed for the flood because he did not pray to G-d to save the generation. The Arizal (Rav Yishak Luria, Safed, 1534-1572) taught that Noah's soul was reincarnated in the person of Moshe Rabbenu so that this mistake could be rectified. Moshe achieved this rectification when he petitioned G-d on behalf of Beneh Yisrael following the sin of the golden calf. In direct contrast to Noah, who made no attempt to save his generation, Moshe appealed to G-d to save Beneh Yisrael, going so far as to declare that he was prepared to be “erased” together with them. Appropriately, then, Noah is presented with an olive branch, a symbol of his failure to concern himself with the needs of others, and focusing on his own wellbeing. Moshe, by contrast, embodied the message of olive oil, the notion of sharing one's blessings, and looking out for others. Therefore, in Parashat Tesaveh, the Parasha which speaks of the olive oil used for the Menorah, Moshe's name is omitted, expressing his selflessness and boundless concern for others, the way he was never concerned only with himself, but rather looked out for the needs of the people he led.

Join HUDDL3 CEO Dane Groeneveld and 'People Problem Solver' Rachel Llanes on The Future of Teamwork as they explore the art of nurturing flourishing teams. In this episode, Rachel, founder of the Gardin Group and a Master Resilience Trainer, shares her unique journey from specializing in Marriage and Therapy counseling to reshaping the dynamics of military and corporate teams. Dive deep into the ABCs of human flourishing—Autonomy, Belonging, and Competence—and learn how these fundamental elements intertwine to create thriving, resilient teams. Whether you're a team leader or a member striving for personal growth, this episode is filled with transformative insights and actionable advice, making it essential listening for anyone committed to excelling in the future of teamwork.Key Takeaways: [00:00] Episode Introduction. Rachel Llanes, a master resilience trainer and founder of The Gardin Group, shares insights on fostering environments where individuals and teams can thrive. [01:59] Dane Groeneveld, CEO of HUDDL3 Group, hosts The Future of Teamwork podcast and is joined by Rachel Llanes, founder of The Gardin Group and a master resilience trainer. They discuss Rachel's work in helping people and teams thrive. [02:47] Rachel's background. In 2022, she started The Gardin Group to teach senior leaders the critical environmental conditions that organizations need for their people to thrive. [07:49] Rachel observed the same problems in different settings, such as family, military, and corporate teams. Despite having a background in Marriage and Family therapy and working as a personal trainer and resilience trainer for the US military, Rachel's experiences led to developing a system for teaching leaders the soft skills needed for their teams to thrive. [09:29] The ABCs of human flourishing begin with "A" for Autonomy. Autonomy is our basic psychological need to feel respected and empowered. Disrespect and disempowerment trigger negative emotions.[10:56] Negative emotions like fear and anger often lead people to shut down or wear a professional mask to conceal their reactions. However, these emotions are signals that indicate something in the environment is off and needs to be corrected. [15:01] It's essential to address issues that affect work performance, team dynamics, and company culture. Appropriately communicating that you've been disrespected can help you advocate for yourself and create a healthier work environment. [18:25] Power differentials can impede transparency in organizations. Leaders should be aware of their authority and consistently seek feedback to create a safe space for open communication. [20:14] Leaders who approach challenges with curiosity and invite others to help create a safe environment for sharing ideas. [25:01] Positive group dynamics, where everyone communicates and works together synergistically, can create an energetic and empowering creative process, whereas negative dynamics can have the opposite effect. [28:07] Belonging is different from fitting in. Belonging means feeling valued, safe, and empowered to be one's true self around others, while fitting in requires changing oneself to conform to the norms of a group. [32:16] To amplify someone's joy when they share good news with you, show genuine interest, and ask them questions that allow them to elaborate on their news. This can be as simple as asking follow-up questions and expressing your happiness for them. [36:01] Rachel shares a personal story about how she unintentionally killed her sister's joy when her sister shared the news of her engagement and pregnancy. Rachel emphasizes the importance of getting it right when people share their joy with us, even if we have concerns about the news. [40:43] The Gardin Group aims to help people understand the distinction between compassion and empathy at work. Empathy is a communication skill that anyone can master with intentional practice. There are five steps to empathy, which include understanding the person's story and reflecting it to them. This skill helps build belonging and connection in challenging situations. [45:09] Rachel discusses a five-step process to support others through emotional pain. The first step is listening, followed by empathy, validation, and understanding. The fifth step involves asking what kind of support the person needs and taking purposeful action to help them. [49:32] Competence is a basic psychological need to feel effective and capable, but it is often thwarted in burnt-out employees. It is the self-evaluation of ability and the relationship between the current challenge, difficulty of the task, and skill level. [54:39] Where to find and contact Rachel Llanes. [56:41] Outro.

This is the first half of my recent conversation with author Liza Gennaro, whose fascinating new book is titled: Making Broadway Dance. Liza is currently the Dean of Musical Theater at the Manhattan School of Music and prior to that she had a very active and successful career as a dancer and choreographer on Broadway and with prominent theater companies across the country. Most notably she choreographed the hit Broadway revival of Frank Loessor's The Most Happy Fella. As she writes in the introduction to her book, Liza came to her love and interest in musical theater dance genetically. Her father was Peter Gennaro, the Tony Award winning choreographer and star dancer of Broadway musicals and TV variety shows. And her mother, Jean Gennaro, was a ballerina turned Broadway dancer who danced for Bronislava Nijinska, Agnes De Mille, and Michael Kidd. As you might imagine, Liza grew up immersed in the world of Broadway, and all manner of dance, and she is able to weave all of that life experience into this remarkable book. I can't think of anyone more uniquely qualified to write it. Appropriately for the final day of Women's History Month, this episode focuses largely on two great female choreographers -- Katherine Dunham and Agnes de Mille. I have stated that De Mille is arguably the most important woman in the history of Broadway musical – not including the star performers, of course – and she has received quite a bit of focus in previous episodes of this podcast. However, I am especially happy today to shine a spotlight on Katherine Dunham whose influence on Broadway dance – like that of many other black artists – has often been overlooked and undervalued. But her impact and significance cannot be denied. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
Happy New Year! We're back with an amazing first episode of 2024 as the BAFTA and Oscar winning duo of Tom and Ross join Alex to discuss what it's actually like picking up an Academy Award as well as discussing their latest film 'The Golden West'. They also take us all on an incredible trip, as we talk the terror of found footage horror Paranormal Activity, the brilliance of Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers and how Will Smith makes you weepy in The Pursuit of Happyness. Appropriately enough there's some bickering about whether Step Brothers is funny or not and whether Ross' unpopular opinion about Finding Nemo should be accepted at all! They also screen a wonderfully, sentimental pair of films to end their journey! We now begin a series of missions insights from the New Testament. Appropriately, we begin with the birth of Christ. Through the record of Christ's birth and the people involved, we see God's clear intent to bring salvation to all nations. This was prophesied in the Old Testament, demonstrated even through the lineage of Jesus, and confirmed by many people connected to His actual Incarnation and young childhood. God is faithful, in Christ, to fulfill his Word to bless all nations through the seed of Abraham.
As you sort through your Thanksgiving leftovers and start your Christmas shopping, let Overlapping Dialogue serve the role of comforting holiday companion. We ring in the series of occasions with a pair of football movies that tug on the heartstrings- albeit in wildly different ways- with Heaven Can Wait and Friday Night Lights. But before they settle their respective differences on the gridiron, we as humble color commentators devour a full fledged meal with a Blue Plate Special lineup: listen as we discuss the latest edition of the Call of Duty franchise (Modern Warfare 3...again) and ponder what the yet-to-be-released Coyote vs. Acme and its stalled fate means for the future of the motion picture industry, as well as find theatrical solace with an unlikely trio of satisfying new releases in Anatomy of a Fall, The Holdovers, and Thanksgiving. Upon finally arriving to our pigskin-themed main event, we delight in the multi-hyphenate nature of the 1978 romantic comedy fantasy sports yarn and try and catch our breathes from the insistent, stifling DRAMA in all caps (no cap, fr fr) of the 2004 high school sports saga. Appropriately, we even enshrine one of this episode's subjects into our very own Hall of Fame, the Immune. Paul Rosenzweig brings us up to date on the debate over renewing section 702, highlighting the introduction of the first credible “renew and reform” measure by the House Intelligence Committee. I'm hopeful that a similarly responsible bill will come soon from Senate Intelligence and that some version of the two will be adopted. Paul is less sanguine. And we all recognize that the wild card will be House Judiciary, which is drafting a bill that could change the renewal debate dramatically. Jordan Schneider reviews the results of the Xi-Biden meeting in San Francisco and speculates on China's diplomatic strategy in the global debate over AI regulation. No one disagrees that it makes sense for the U.S. and China to talk about the risks of letting AI run nuclear command and control; perhaps more interesting (and puzzling) is China's interest in talking about AI and military drones. Speaking of AI, Paul reports on Sam Altman's defenestration from OpenAI and soft landing at Microsoft. Appropriately, Bing Image Creator provides the artwork for the defenestration but not the soft landing. Nick Weaver covers Meta's not-so-new policy on political ads claiming that past elections were rigged. I cover the flap over TikTok videos promoting Osama Bin Laden's letter justifying the 9/11 attack. Jordan and I discuss reports that Applied Materials is facing a criminal probe over shipments to China's SMIC. Nick reports on the most creative ransomware tactic to date: compromising a corporate network and then filing an SEC complaint when the victim doesn't disclose it within four days. This particular gang may have jumped the gun, he reports, but we'll see more such reports in the future, and the SEC will have to decide whether it wants to foster this business model. I cover the effort to disclose a bitcoin wallet security flaw without helping criminals exploit it. And Paul recommends the week's long read: The Mirai Confession – a detailed and engaging story of the kids who invented Mirai, foisted it on the world, and then worked for the FBI for years, eventually avoiding jail, probably thanks to an FBI agent with a paternal streak. Origins of the Yellow LightThe origin of the yellow caution light is somewhat ambiguous. A narrative exists crediting William Potts, a Detroit policeman, with integrating a yellow light into traffic signals on November 20th, 1920, to indicate an impending change. However, it is also on this date in 1923 that Garrett Morgan's patent emerges, adding to the historical puzzle.Policeman William Potts engineered the first three-color traffic signals to address Detroit's early automotive era. Red light violations became increasingly problematic due to congested streets filled with cars, horses, and carts. Officer Potts introduced an intermediate warning phase now universally recognized as the yellow light. This innovation was subsequently integrated into global traffic systems.Today Commemorates a century since Garrett Morgan's patent for his traffic signal—a precursor featuring a cautionary phase allowing all directions to stop—highlights this enduring challenge. Morgan's innovation aimed to curb impatience among motorists, exemplified by honking at green lights—a behavior still present today.Morgan's invention emerged during the nascent days of widespread automobile ownership in America when chaotic traffic conditions prevailed due to inexperienced drivers and diverse modes of transportation sharing roadways. After witnessing a traumatic accident, Morgan crafted a T-shaped mechanical signal that could be manually operated, distinctively incorporating an all-clear interval before movement resumed—the predecessor of today's yellow light.Morgan's patent acknowledged that this feature would mitigate collisions caused by drivers' eagerness at signal changes. His design was particularly relevant during an era lacking widespread electricity, offering flexibility for varying urban settings. Following public demonstrations in Ohio and General Electric's acquisition of Morgan's patent for $40,000, his concept laid the groundwork for modern traffic control systems designed with safety as a paramount concern.Understanding the yellow signal is crucial for drivers. A steady yellow light indicates an imminent switch to red; drivers already in the intersection should continue cautiously, while those approaching should prepare to stop if safely possible. A flashing yellow advises drivers to proceed through intersections with heightened awareness and reduced speed. The steady yellow arrow warns of limited time to clear the intersection, permitting passage only when safe, although its usage is not uniform across all states. The newer flashing yellow arrow allows drivers to proceed without halting but mandates yielding to oncoming traffic and pedestrians—typically transitioning to a steady yellow or green arrow.Appropriately timed yellow lights prevent accidents, particularly since over 20% of traffic collisions occur at intersections. Road speed limits influence these timings; for example, a road with a 55-mile-per-hour limit requires a longer yellow phase than one with a 45-mile-per-hour limit to accommodate safe deceleration. Insufficiently timed lights can lead to rear-end collisions and red light running. Traffic management entities worldwide strive to optimize these intervals, considering factors such as urban density and traffic volume. For those interested in the evolution of traffic signals and their future adaptations for autonomous vehicles, further exploration will be available on "No Driving Gloves." An upcoming episode will delve into the potential introduction of a fourth signal color designed to facilitate self-driving technology. so be sure to subscribe to hear more about this and many other facets of the automotive realm.www.nodrivingloves.com#cars #car #collectorcars #oldcars #cartalk #electriccars #ev #hotrod #carhistory #automotivehistory #automobile...

On a recent Wednesday night, the former President, Donald Trump, utilized the Truth Social platform to express his admiration for the hard-hitting documentary 'Police State.' This film was crafted by well-known commentator Dinesh D'Souza, whose conservative perspective helps shape an engaging narrative. Appropriately, Trump shared his sentiments during the film's premiere at his opulent Palm Beach property, Mar-a-Lago. The movie is the latest notable endeavor from D'Souza Media LLC. 'Police State' delves deeply into the increasing misuse of the justice system to marginalize conservative Christians in America. It explores multiple pressing issues including the censorship activities spearheaded by Big Tech and the escalating overreach of the federal government. For those unable to attend the premiere, the enlightening documentary is accessible online via Rumble. This live-streaming service allows viewers to absorb the powerful messages that 'Police State' communicates about the current challenges facing conservative-leaning Americans. The Mar-a-Lago premiere became even more memorable when D'Souza took the stage to read out Trump's complimentary message. His words met with thunderous applause from the large gathering of influential conservative attendees. Interestingly, the man behind the message - Trump himself - was absent from the event.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Our penultimate episode of VIDtober, our celebration of the movies released by New World Video, is also our 100th New World movie! Appropriately, we're discussing Donald G. Today I share some ideas about how, or if, to engage with errant thoughts. Most people believe that the goal of meditation is to free the mind of all its myriad creations. However, the goal of meditation is to train the mind to have one thought exclusively, thus silencing the others. Appropriately enough, our discussion today will focus on what to do with random thought, in our sessions and our waking lives.
