A new report was released in July 2023 with a focus on measuring youth index with regards to the progress of the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific region. The research was carried out by the Sustainable Development Solution Network (SDSN) Youth AusNZPac, a UN initiative lead by Monash Sustainable Development Institute (MSDI). The result show that the youth are left behind in almost all areas of these goals such as psychological well-being and poverty. In this MOJO podcast episode, we talked to Isabelle Zhu-Maguire who worked on this youth index report. The conversation covers details of the research, youth activism, and the prospect of change and progress for young people. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
