Denise lived in fear of her abusive father her whole childhood. She found solace in the care of her music teacher who introduced her to Jesus and helped her to understand the love of our heavenly Father but she could not relate because of her circumstances. She tried to escape by marrying at a young age and found herself in an abusive marriage. Desperate for herself and her children she cried out to God to save her. Through the invitation of a friend she attended a women's camp where she had an encounter with the Holy Spirit which lead her on a journey of discovering God's unabounding love for her.
From a young age Alistair Noah new that he was called to use music as a medium to inspire, communicate and shape the thoughts of listeners. But he struggled to bring it across eloquently and coherently. He feared failure and hence put tremendous pressure on himself until he realized he had to surrender his gifts and talents to the greatest artist of all. Once he did this, God inspired him and gave him a new perspective. He was introduced to mentors that helped him to refine his craft and use it for the glory of God.
As child and into her teens Twenitha kept to herself and did not make friends easily because she feared they would find out the truth about her alcoholic father and the violence she endured in her home. She did not go to church but knew about Jesus through what she learnt at school and in her innocence she called out to him. But it was not until a friend invited her to a women's camp that she encountered him personally and was saved in an instant.
Ilonka Ras is an entrepreneur at heart. But when Covid disrupted her world she had to close her business. Feeling lost and uncertain about what to do next, she continued to faithfully seek God's will and held onto the hope that when one door closes another will open. She always knew she wanted to work in a field where she could empower women so she asked God for direction. After the resurrection, Jesus spent forty days on earth before he ascended, and then there were ten more days after that before the Day of Pentecost. During this period we continue to celebrate Christ's resurrection and that we are new creations. Eric Hofmeyer grew up in an area riddled with gangsterism. To survive, he created various personas to 'mask' what he was struggling to overcome. Sheldon Heuvel was sentenced to prison for a crime he committed to feed his addiction to drugs. Whilst incarcerated he aligned himself to the Christian community and committed himself to the Lord out of fear for his life. His commitment was superficial and once released he soon found himself back on drugs with his life spiraling out of control. Through the intercession of his family he agreed to go to rehab where he discovered that Jesus invites us to come to him just as we are are and his love can set us free from all the darkness that holds our souls captive. If we are asked to pray for someone we should not be afraid to do so and do so at the moment. Prayer can be done at any moment in time whether we are traveling via public transport. As praying women, we need to surround ourselves who can mentor and help to uplift us

Gareth and Nicole Agnew share their testimony of God's healing in their lives. Gareth had an undiagnosed heart defect from birth. He had to undergo several major surgeries and suffered a hemorrhage in the brain stem which was effectively the same as having a stroke. He explains the journey it took to start believing and trusting in God for a miracle in his life. God not only healed his heart but gave him 'a new heart' as if there had never been any defect.
