Noah faced an assignment that must have seemed impossible: build an enormous ark on dry land, despite having no known experience as a shipbuilder or mariner. Yet year after year, Noah continued working because he trusted the God who had called him. In today's episode of the MY Devotional Podcast, Dr. Michael Youssef explains that God chose Noah not because of his expertise, but because of his faithfulness. Genesis describes Noah as a righteous man who “walked faithfully with God.” God was more interested in an obedient heart than an impressive résumé. And God did not leave Noah without direction. The same principle applies to believers today: when God genuinely calls us to His work, He is able to equip and empower us for what He asks us to do. Perhaps God is calling you toward something that feels far beyond your abilities. You may feel inexperienced, underqualified, or unsupported. Noah's story reminds us that our limitations do not limit God. If the Lord has directed your steps, trust His plan. Sometimes God calls us to surrender something precious. Other times He asks us to step beyond what feels comfortable to share the Gospel, serve His Kingdom, or obey a command we do not fully understand. Whatever the assignment, genuine faith eventually comes to the same conclusion: God must be obeyed. God gave Noah an extraordinary command—to build an ark in preparation for a flood that had not yet come. In Episode 203, we explore John 9:1-7 and Jesus' surprising healing of a man born blind. As Jesus walks along, He sees a man who has been blind from birth. The disciples immediately ask a theological question: "Who sinned—this man or his parents?" They want to assign blame. They want to explain the suffering. They want to fit it into a neat theological category. But Jesus doesn't answer their question. He reframes it entirely: "This happened so the power of God could be seen in him." The blindness isn't punishment. It's not the result of sin. It's an opportunity—not for the man's shame, but for God's glory. Through guided meditation, discover what Jesus does next. He spits on the ground, makes mud with His saliva, and spreads it on the man's eyes. Then He gives a simple command: "Go wash yourself in the pool of Siloam." No explanation. No guarantee. No description of what will happen when he gets there. Just mud on his eyes and a direction to follow. And the man goes. He doesn't argue. He doesn't ask for a sign. He doesn't demand to understand the method. He doesn't wait until it makes sense. He just obeys. And he comes back seeing. This episode explores the profound principle at the heart of this miracle: This is how Jesus often works. Not in the way we expect. Not with a method we would choose. Not with a clear explanation that satisfies our questions. But with a simple invitation to trust and obey—and the sight comes after the step, not before it. Do you want to "go deeper" in your faith? Well, here's what you need to know: Deep faith isn't about knowledge. It's about ACTION. If you want to build great faith, it's going to require that you take action.

True biblical faith is presented not as mere hope or a blind leap, but as the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen, deeply rooted in assurance and trust in Yahweh. This faith is consistently demonstrated by courageous actions and unwavering obedience, as shown by figures such as Abraham, Daniel, and the three men in the fiery furnace, leading to Yahweh's glorification even in the face of extreme adversity. Yahshua himself commended the Roman Centurion's profound faith, which superseded that found in Israel, underscoring that genuine belief is proven by deeds, for faith without works is dead. Without such conviction, it is impossible to please Yahweh, yet even a belief as small as a mustard seed, characterized by steadfastness and conviction, possesses the power to overcome any challenge. Considering that even faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains, what "mountain" in your life is Elohim calling you to confront with steadfast belief today?

 Pastor Mark challenges us to choose calling over comfort. Based on Matthew 14, this sermon reminds us that true faith begins where comfort ends—and that the safest place to be is wherever Jesus is.

What dream have you had that you feel is too big to pursue? One of my big dreams has always been to go to England, the country my maternal grandmother was from. But I don't like to fly, I was worried I couldn't do that much walking, didn't know how to figure out all of the planes, trains, underground, taxis and Uber logistics, etc. etc. I decided not to give into those fears, however, when my husband, John, offered to take me on the trip of a lifetime to England and Scotland to celebrate my 60th birthday and our 40th wedding anniversary. Having recently returned from that trip I can honestly say it was worth every bit of planning, every mile flown and every step taken to make the dream a reality. There is a story in the Bible where God had a wonderful plan devised for His people, a land flowing with milk and honey, but 10 men prevented that dream from happening because they were too afraid. Amanda Nelson's journey from reluctant teenage gardener to community trainer offers a compelling answer.Amanda's path began with a simple question: how would her family survive if grocery stores became unavailable? This prompted her first gardening attempts, which quickly led to frustration as north Georgia's notoriously difficult soil—clay mixed with nearly impenetrable chert rock—seemed determined to resist her efforts. Just when she was ready to quit, an unexpected introduction to mulch gardening and later, Foundations for Farming principles, transformed not only her agricultural practices but her understanding of creation care as ministry.The transformation wasn't immediate. For two years, Amanda battled erosion as southern downpours washed away her carefully applied mulch and compost. Yet through faithful application of stewardship principles, she witnessed her once-eroding plots begin to absorb torrential rainfall faster than it could run off. Her initial devastating aphid problems disappeared entirely, and thriving crops emerged from soil others had deemed hopeless.What makes Amanda's story particularly powerful is her transition from learner to teacher. Despite initial fears about public speaking, she recognized that hoarding her knowledge would represent unfaithful stewardship. Start small. Maintain excellence in limited spaces rather than mediocrity across too much area. Recognize different life seasons may require pruning certain activities to focus on others.
