I created this podcast to share the amazing stories of women and the many times they had no choice but to be brave. These stories are meant to inspire, give hope, and empower other women. I believe that by sharing our stories, we allow ourselves to heal and also help others. Everyone's story matters and by sharing it you just never know who you will inspire to keep pushing through. We were all made on purpose for a purpose.

Hey girl, Thank you for being here for this episode. In this episode, I share what happened to me in November/December 2022, when I got really sick. Even through the hard times, I keep trusting God. Don't think that I haven't had moments of doubt or panic, I am human, but overall, I am trusting God that He has healed me. My purpose for sharing this experience is to help others who are going through a similar situation not feel so alone. We all go through very hard times but the times we highlight the most are the good times. I think we should show more of our vulnerable times because it shows how human we all are. P.S. I am not a doctor, or healthcare provider, or work in the health industry. I am only sharing MY experience. Are you following me on IG? @thebraveinher

Hey girl, thank you so much for being here for this episode. In honor of Kidney Disease Awareness Month, I am sharing part of my kidney disease journey. Some of the details will be really personal for me but it is important to me to give as much detail as I can to help others. For many years I refused to speak about my journey because I didn't want to be seen as a victim of kidney disease or for people to feel bad for me. Because I certainly do not feel that way about my journey, in fact, the complete opposite. It makes me feel proud that even though I have gone through so much physically, mentally, and emotionally due to my illness, I am able to say that I have never given up on goals or dreams, like this podcast. That I continue to fight every day! Yes, it might have taken me longer than other people, but I do not give up. If you or anyone you know has kidney disease, please know you are not alone. Please reach out to me or to a kidney disease community for support. I am here for you! Are you following me on IG? @thebraveinher

Hey girl, thank you so much for being here for today's episode. In today's episode, Viviana talks to us about her experience with cultural identity and the struggles that come with it. Her parents were born and raised in Mexico and moved to Texas where Viviana was born. At the age of 9 years old, Viviana and her family moved to Nebraska due to her parents' missionary work. Throughout the years Viviana has faced criticism for wanting to play sports and not speaking Spanish at school. Viviana was questioned about her identity as a Latina all her young adult life. Now, she is the founder of “The Jefa Life”, a blog that she created to inspire Latinas to take control of their careers. I hope you enjoy our conversation! *** Quotes *** “Look within yourself and be okay with your own identity” – Viviana Maldonado “The ones that are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones that do.” – Steve Jobs “Being comfortable with not being comfortable” – Viviana Maldonado *** How to find Viviana *** Instagram: @thejefalife Blog: https://thejefalife.com/ Are you following me on Instagram yet????
