Send us a textGet ready — this week's full breakdown is here! We're diving deep into Giants vs Chiefs Sunday Night Football, all the latest Giants injuries, what's up with Kansas City, and every NFL Week 3 pick straight up, against the spread, and with over/unders. This is must-watch if you want your fantasy edge or just want to win your bets this week. The Giants injury report is stacked with names like Flannigan-Fowles, Golston, Muasau, Olszewski, Jon Runyan, JMS, Andrew Thomas, Tracy Jr., Roy Robertson-Harris, and Skattebo. Some were DNP, some limited, and a few were full participants — but it all matters heading into Sunday night. On the Chiefs' side, questions remain around Michael Danna, Fulton, Worthy, and Jawaan Taylor. Suspended and injured players like Rashee Rice, Driskell, Anudike-Uzomah, and others won't play. Depth will be tested in this primetime showdown. We'll break down how these injuries and suspensions affect the matchup and what it means for Mahomes, Russell Wilson, Nabors, and the rest of the Giants roster. Can the Giants' defense contain Mahomes' mobility? Will Kansas City's offensive line issues give the Giants a chance to steal one on the road? These are the questions we'll answer.Beyond Giants vs Chiefs, Week 3 across the NFL is packed with storylines. TNF gave us Bills vs Dolphins in an AFC East clash with Buffalo rolling and Miami desperate to avoid 0-3. Sunday's early slate features the Packers playing the Browns, the Buccs clashing with the Jets, and the Commanders battling the Raiders, with spreads and totals keeping bettors on edge. Later in the day the Eagles and Rams face off in a showdown of two undefeated teams looking to cement their early dominance. Then SNF brings the Giants and Chiefs into the spotlight, both teams sitting at 0-2 and desperate for a win to keep playoff hopes alive. MNF closes the week with Lions vs Ravens in a heavyweight matchup that could have serious playoff implications down the road. Thank you for watching and for your support. At the Society of Hematologic Oncology 2025 Annual Meeting, CancerNetwork® spoke with a variety of experts about notable clinical developments and trial results across the hematologic oncology landscape. Throughout the meeting, clinicians and researchers discussed the latest data and initiatives in myelofibrosis, multiple myeloma, lymphoma, and other types of blood cancer. Francesca Palandri, MD, PhD, an adjunct professor in the Department of Medical and Surgical Sciences at the University of Bologna in Bologna, Italy, shared insights from a session focused on exploring predictive markers for the efficacy of ruxolitinib (Jakafi) among patients with myelofibrosis.1 Noting variance in response rates as well as possibilities of disease progression or treatment discontinuation associated with ruxolitinib, Palandri emphasized the importance of assessing predictors of response to better orient clinical decision-making strategies regarding the agent's use. She also highlighted how factors such as cytopenic phenotype, higher peripheral blast counts, and higher burden of disease may impact response rates and survival among patients. Additionally, Sundar Jagannath, MD, a professor of Medicine specializing in hematology and medical oncology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and The Tisch Cancer Institute, spoke about his presentation on potentially defining a cure in the management of multiple myeloma.2 He described the importance of “chang[ing] the dialogue” in multiple myeloma to give hope to patients and encourage physicians to engage in patient care more optimally. By defining a cure in multiple myeloma, Jagannath stated, it may be possible to offer more finite durations of treatment and stop therapy with the confidence that patients will not relapse. Finally, Adam J. Olszewski, MD, an associate professor of medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, discussed his work on the phase 3 SUNMO trial (NCT05171647).3 Findings from this presentation showed that mosunetuzumab-axgb (Lunsumio) plus polatuzumab vedotin-piiq (Polivy; M-Pola) reduced the risk of progression or death by 59% vs rituximab (Rituxan) with gemcitabine and oxaliplatin (R-GemOx) in relapsed/refractory large B-cell lymphoma (LBCL). Olszewski also outlined next steps for refining treatment strategies in this patient population. References Palandri F. Predictive markers for ruxolitinib in MF. What if you could look at your differences not as disabilities, but as superpowers? This is the inspiring perspective that our special guest, Jade Olszewski, brings to light. As an artist, energy healer, transformational coach, and mother to an autistic son, Jade has a wealth of wisdom to share about embracing differences and navigating the world of autism. Through her heartfelt journey, Jade takes us from the initial diagnosis when her son was only four, to the challenges and victories that have shaped their life ever since. She offers a glimpse into her unique parenting techniques, including a calming room for her son and the use of tools like headphones to help navigate noisy environments. She delves into her thoughts on being on the spectrum herself, though undiagnosed, and how labels can be a double-edged sword - providing understanding, yet also limiting. In the last segment of our conversation, Jade emphasizes the importance of acceptance and self-love for those dealing with autism. Her insights into her son's literal thinking, his love for jokes, and his approach to social situations are both enlightening and uplifting. Through it all, Jade reiterates the need to celebrate small wins, foster a supportive environment, and above all, to view differences as superpowers. Come along on this heartening journey that promises to leave you inspired and empowered.https://tonymantor.comhttps://Facebook.com/tonymantorhttps://instagram.com/tonymantorhttps://twitter.com/tonymantorhttps://youtube.com/tonymantormusicintro/outro music bed written by T. October 11, 2023 - Season 14, Episode 35 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the Sunday touchdown pass from Pittsburgh Steelers QB Kenny Pickett to WR George Pickens on Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens and all of the discussion related to the play that has come out of it. We recap what Pickett said about the play on Tuesday and also highlight a few other things that the all-22 tape showed related to the signal he gave Pickens pre-snap. The Steelers have made a few practice squad moves since our last show, so Alex and I recap those. We also talk about the finger injury sustained by OLB T.J. Watt on Sunday against the Ravens. Steelers WR Diontae Johnson said on Tuesday that he expects to return from his hamstring injury after the bye week so Alex and I discuss that great news and impact it hopefully will have on the offense. Will Steelers CB Joey Porter Jr. be a starter coming out of the bye week? Based on what a few defensive coaches said on Tuesday, it doesn't sound like that will be the case. Alex and I discuss if that would ultimately be the right decision. Now that Alex and I have both reviewed the all-22 from the Steelers Sunday Week Five win against the Ravens, we go over a few observations that we made on both sides of the football. We talk about the overall play of both the offense and defense on Sunday and Alex goes a little more in-depth on how Ravens QB Lamar Jackson was contained for the most part in that game. Is Steelers WR Gunner Olszewski long for the Steelers roster at this point? We look at his contract situation and speculate about how much longer he might remain in Pittsburgh. Several other minor topics not noted are also discussed in this 73-minute episode, and we get to a several listener emails to close out the show. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices. September 1, 2023 - Season 14, Episode 17 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Friday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers already shuffling their initial 53-man roster for the 2023 season by waiving P Braden Mann and signing CB Desmond King. The Steelers have now almost filled their 16-man practice squad to start the 2023 season, so Alex and I go over the 14 potential members of it as of Friday morning. We also discuss what the remaining vacant spots might be from a positional standpoint. With King now a member of the Steelers, Alex and I go over his recent tape and where he seems to best fit on defense moving forward. We also review why the Houston Texans likely parted ways with King a few days ago. The Steelers reportedly restructured the contract of WR Gunner Olszewski recently, so we pass along what we know and don't know about that transaction as of Friday morning. What does the next offseason hold for Steelers TE Pat Freiermuth when it comes to his contract situation? Alex and I attempt to answer that question and what his market value might be next offseason on the heels of two other young NFL tight ends signing extensions this offseason. Alex and I then go over the Steelers initial list of potential free agents next offseason. Several other minor topics not noted in this recap are also discussed in this 68-minute episode, and we end it by answering several listener questions! Learn more about your ad choices.
