In this episode, I sit down with one of my favorite people on the planet — Linsay Rosser-Sumpter — lifelong cowgirl, powerhouse leader, and one of the driving forces behind Premier Women's Rodeo (PWR).Linsay and I go way back to our Colorado days, long hauls in the truck, and all the miles and memories that shaped who we are today. But this conversation digs even deeper. Lindsay opens up about the evolution of women's rodeo, why change was necessary, and the mission she and Sammy Jo Smith have carried forward: creating a platform where every cowgirl — pros, challengers, limited, moms, beginners, and veterans — has an honest shot at opportunity. She breaks down why PWR matters, how it came to be, and what it means to build a system that finally treats female rodeo athletes with the respect, visibility, and payout they deserve. From the magic of the back-number gala to 2.4 million CBS network viewers watching women compete on a global stage, Linsay lays out how this movement is shifting the culture — not just inside the arena, but industry-wide.We talk motherhood, identity, leadership, fairness, and the responsibility to leave rodeo better than we found it. Linsay shares her heart for the next generation — including her own boys — and why she refuses to let the old way of doing things define the future for cowgirls. This conversation is heartfelt, fiery, and full of the passion that makes Lindsay who she is — an advocate, a visionary, and the kind of cowgirl who doesn't just talk about change… she builds it.

Joe and Kareem explore deep themes of resilience, redemption, and the link between personal growth and service to others, as well as what it means to face feeling like an imposter and what it looks like to transform discomfort into confidence. This episode is a raw and uplifting reminder that even the hardest challenges can become the foundation for strength, meaning, and lasting impact. Oriole Resources PLC (AIM:ORR) CEO Martin Rosser talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the company's successful £1.8 million capital raise and how the funds will support key gold exploration activities in Cameroon. Rosser confirmed a £1.8 million placing and a further £200,000 retail offer, both priced at the previous day's closing bid with warrants attached. "We're delighted that we've announced a £1.8 million placing today and a further retail offer... not being done at a discount," he said. Institutional participation, particularly from RAB Capital, which now holds a 2.1% stake, was described as a strong endorsement. Rosser highlighted that institutional backing is “vital if we are to grow the value of Oriole for the benefit of all shareholders.” The proceeds will fund the MB01-N drilling campaign, aimed at converting an existing exploration target of 372,000 to 605,000 ounces of gold into JORC-compliant resources. Further work is planned at MB01-S and across nearby licences - Pokor, Ndom and Tenekou - all within the same regional trend. Funds will also support surface sampling and advanced studies at the Bibemi project to back its exploitation license application. Rosser described the upcoming program as a "busy and productive time" with significant news flow expected. Visit Proactive's YouTube channel for more company interviews and updates. Oriole Resources PLC (AIM:ORR) CEO Martin Rosser talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the company's latest agreement with BCM International and its impact on gold exploration projects in Cameroon. The agreement secures $900,000 in cash and a further $300,000 in direct drilling expenditure, providing full funding for a 2,950-metre maiden drilling program at the MB01-N target. Rosser said the deal was “a clear validation of our exploration strategy in Cameroon” and underlined BCM's continued confidence in the Bibemi and Mbe projects. Rosser described the partnership with BCM as one based on shared commitment and technical expertise, highlighting that BCM's operational and financial support allows Oriole to progress drilling and metallurgical work without shareholder dilution. The MB01-N program, expected to commence in December, aims to convert an exploration target of 370,000 to 605,000 ounces of gold into a maiden JORC-compliant resource. This follows a previously reported 870,000-ounce JORC Inferred resource at nearby MB01-S, which Rosser described as “a transformational step” for the company. Looking ahead, Oriole will continue preparatory work at MB01-N, conduct metallurgical testing at Bibemi, and advance its exploitation licence application in Cameroon. Oriole Resources PLC (AIM:ORR) CEO Martin Rosser talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the company's maiden mineral resource estimate (MRE) for the Mbe South project in Cameroon, revealing a significant inferred resource. The company reported almost 900,000 ounces of contained gold, exceeding the upper range of the previously published JORC exploration target. Rosser noted, “The outcome is some 50% greater number of ounces than the median in the earlier exploration target…and is at a higher grade.” The MRE covers a strike length of around 900m, a width of 700m and a depth of 340m, and remains open in all directions. Rosser said the result demonstrates the value proposition of Oriole Resources and the district potential within the wider eastern CLP license area, which spans over 2,000 square kilometres. He also discussed upcoming exploration plans, including further infill and step-out drilling. The undrilled MB01 North target, just 700m northeast of Mbe South, currently has a JORC exploration target range of 370,000 to 605,000 ounces, and the company estimates a combined near-term target of 1.25 million to 1.5 million ounces for the combined Mbe South and North zones. Looking ahead, the company will finalise plans with its earn-in partner, BCM International, to commence the next drilling program. Rosser acknowledged the open pit mining potential, stating that the large widths of mineralisation and geometry supports consideration of such a concept. The company highlighted that Mbe South is now Cameroon's largest JORC MRE, overtaking its own Bibemi project. For more exclusive interviews and updates like this, head to Proactive's YouTube channel. This is the first solo episode of Scaling Theory, where I take a deep dive into the literature. Building on a working paper titled “Adaptive Regulation,” I explore why “future-proof” laws so often fail in the face of rapid technological change, and how complexity science can guide us toward rules that adapt to the things they regulate. Back in the can to talk about a pretty spectacular 2024, and what is shaping up to be an epic 2025 is JYRO's man for all things FLOCKING, Zack Rosser. At an age when most kids are still learning to tie their shoelaces unassisted, Zack Rosser was tossing on his kid sized climbing harness so his father could take him up on a tandem paraglide session; and before he was old enough to know he had choices available to him, he'd already made his. With paragliding not as accessible in his area in Australia, his father took him out to the local DZ when he was twenty, and set him up on a tandem skydive to see if that might be a good fit. In no time at all, Zack became the DZ's "anything you need" guy, pushing hard to find his angle into the sport. It didn't take him long at all to realize the canopy side of things was exactly his fit. Working now as a tandem instructor, video guy, and primarily a canopy coach, Zack's passion for nylon has led him to everything from competition Canopy Piloting to organizing flocking dives all over Down Under, with plans to branch out to New Zealand and beyond as soon as travel allows. Bringing a youth and exuberance to everything he does, you'll understand when you listen that Zack Rosser has only just begun his path along the Lunatic Fringe.
So – yeah, no – I'm in Dunnes Stores in, like, the Stephen's Green Shopping Centre, grabbing a few bits for Sorcha, who's making a special dinner tonight. I dump my items on the checkout belt and make a mental note to find out if it's her birthday, or our wedding anniversary, when all of a sudden I hear an old woman's voice go, “Mind if I just go ahead of you there, son?” Hosted on Acast.
