Are you letting God have the final say or your feelings? The good news is it doesn't have to be either/or. Your feelings are a sign that something deeper is going on. We all know the state of this [earthly] world is a mess. As believers, we should expect this, as we live in a fallen and sinful world. At the same time, we have a God who is bigger than our greatest fears and our biggest storms. In Him, we can find peace, rest, and strength. In Him, we can find our purpose and act according to His ways. I pray this episode encourages you today as you go about your daily life and live out your calling to be the hands and feet of Jesus, to bring Him glory, and to lead others directly to Him! Verses shared in this episode: Psalm 32:7-8 "You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you." Philippians 4:6-7 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." 2 Timothy 1:7 "For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline." Matthew 8:25-27 “And they went and woke him, saying, ‘Save us, Lord; we are perishing.' And he said to them, ‘Why are you afraid, O you of little faith?' Then he rose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. Are you taking ownership of your life? Even as we submit our lives to the Lord, it's important to take ownership of who says we are and who He made us to be.
