I'm Eleanor Neale…you may know me already from my true crime Youtube channel…you may even be one of the many people asking for me to release it as a podcast…well, here it is! Each week on Usual Disclaimer I'll be exploring different cases from the world of true crime, sorting the fact from fiction and delving into the psychology behind what motivates people to commit such horrific acts on others. There’ll be cases from the archive of episodes I’ve already done, alongside new episodes that you can now hear, when you can’t watch. To make sure you never miss an episode, hit ‘follow’ now, wherever you’re listening.
The Usual Disclaimer with Eleanor Neale is an exceptional true crime podcast that will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. I have been a devoted listener since 2019 and I simply cannot get enough. The content that Eleanor Neale provides is absolutely gripping, and her storytelling skills are unparalleled. From the moment I started listening, I was hooked and couldn't stop.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is Eleanor's ability to captivate her audience with her storytelling. She has a way of drawing you in and making you feel like you are right there in the midst of the crime scene. Her attention to detail is impeccable, and she goes above and beyond to provide additional context and background information on each case. It's clear that she puts an immense amount of research into each episode, which greatly enhances the overall listening experience.
Additionally, I appreciate Eleanor's empathy and compassion towards the victims and their families. She always takes the time to acknowledge any potential triggers at the beginning of each episode, showing a genuine concern for her listeners' well-being. This level of sensitivity sets her apart from other true crime podcasts and showcases her dedication to not only providing gripping content but also respecting the emotional toll that these stories can have on individuals.
While it's difficult to find any faults with The Usual Disclaimer, one aspect that some listeners may find challenging is the length of episodes. At times, certain cases may span multiple episodes, which can become a bit overwhelming if you prefer shorter podcast episodes. However, I personally appreciate this approach as it allows for a more comprehensive exploration of each case without sacrificing important details or rushing through the story.
In conclusion, The Usual Disclaimer with Eleanor Neale is an absolute must-listen for true crime enthusiasts. With its gripping storytelling, meticulous research, and heartfelt empathy towards victims' families, this podcast sets itself apart from others in the genre. Whether you're a long-time fan of Eleanor's YouTube channel or a new listener, you won't be disappointed with the quality and content of this podcast. So grab your headphones, get cozy, and prepare to be enthralled by The Usual Disclaimer.

Today's case is about the unsolved murder of Mexican Musician Chalino Sanchez who was handed his own death note, live on stage. Later that night, Chalino was kidnapped by alleged Police and by the morning, he'd be found dead. Chalino Sanchez was crowned the King of Corridos and is the idol of many musicians today, including Peso Pluma, who in 2023 went viral after receiving his own death note. The message warned Peso Pluma that if he performed his upcoming concert in Tijuana, it would be his last. It had been sent by a Cartel over his song ‘El Gavilán', that he'd made with Luis R Conriquez and Tony Aguirre. The lyrics complimented El Chapo, which enraged the cartel. But after Peso Pluma received a death note over a bad lyric, theories behind Chalino's unsolved murder were re-ignited across the internet. Corrido music is about love, hardship and crime. Narcocorrido is specifically about the life of narcos. Chalino Sanchez lived a crazy life full of revenge, drug trafficking, coyotes, and music. And it's Chalino's music that may be the reason for his early death. Decades on Chalino's music has millions of fans and plays on Spotify, with his image being blasted across the Coachella Mainstage in 2023 thanks to Peso Pluma.
