In this life-changing message, Bishop Mark Brown delivers a timely and powerful word centered on the theme: Father Knows Best. At a time when voices from every direction offer conflicting advice, and the pressures of life feel overwhelming, we are reminded that our Heavenly Father knows exactly what we need. He sees beyond our circumstances, understands the desires of our hearts, and hears even the quietest cries we cannot put into words. Father's never underestimate the importance of your role. You are needed. You are chosen. You are Divinely positioned and appointed by God for such a time as this. Your authority comes from above, and your assignment is sacred. In a world that is desperate for stability, strength, and spiritual leadership, your presence matters more than ever. You were not placed here by chance. Your influence in your home, your church, and your community carries eternal weight. Stand firm in the truth. Lead with grace. Love without reservation. And always remember: your purpose was designed by God, for His glory. God has already established the structure, strategy, and framework to accomplish the vision He has placed within you. You are not wandering aimlessly; you are on a path designed by the Creator Himself. With God, nothing is beyond reach or impossible. Let this message encourage and empower you—not only to trust in the Father who knows best, but to walk confidently in your divine calling as a reflection of His wisdom, love, and strength.

In Part 2 of their conversation about the Top Ten Mistakes, Darren and Mark talk with Stage Time University faculty member Mike Davis about mistakes #5 through #1 in the countdown.    SNIPPETS:   • Identify the guide/guru/compass, which may not be a human   • The hero should not solve their own problem   • It isn't just about what changed, but about how the character grew   • Give your audience time and room to reflect on the character's development   • Give the hero a time limit to reach their goal   • Create and escalate conflict   • Be clear about the hero's goal; not what, but why   • Specificity and clarity are key   • Engage the audience immediately   • Don't open with trivialities like the weather or how nice it is to be there   1. Weak or Wandering Openings Why it matters: If you don't hook the audience in the first 15 seconds, you risk losing them entirely. Many speakers start with platitudes or overused statements instead of tension, emotion, or curiosity.
✅ Fix: Begin with a vivid image, jarring question, or a clear inciting incident. (Craig Valentine: “When they're predicting, you're connecting.”)   2. The Main Character Lacks a Clear Goal or Stakes Why it matters: Without a specific goal and consequence, the story feels directionless and unmotivated. The audience won't care what happens next.
✅ Fix: Use the ABS AND section to define the character's goal, traits, and motivation.   3. Stories Skip the Struggle Why it matters: Too many stories jump from the problem to the resolution. They miss the BUT—the emotional depth, obstacles, and low point that make the payoff matter.
✅ Fix: Amplify conflict. Show the tension before the turn. That's where connection lives.   4. Resolution Without Reflection Why it matters: The SO isn't just about what changed—it's about how the character grew, and what we can take away. When this is rushed or vague, the audience misses the lesson.
✅ Fix: Let the character experience change and articulate new insight. Use dialogue, emotion, and detail.   5. The Guide Isn't Clear (or is the same person as the hero) Why it matters: Without a separate Guide figure, the story sounds like self-congratulation. That breaks trust.
✅ Fix: Show who offered perspective, wisdom, or a framework that shifted the main character's path.   Work with Mark and Darren: https://www.stagetimeuniversity.com/get-a-speaking-coach/   Check Out Stage Time University: https://www.stagetimeuniversity.com

In this impactful and inspiring message, Bishop Mark Brown from Texas unveils the significance of the Second Move of the Holy Spirit—explaining why His presence is vital and why He was released into the earth. When we receive the Holy Spirit, we are empowered with boldness: boldness to share the gospel, to walk in our divine calling, and to step confidently into the success God has prepared for us. God has set an appointed time for His promises to come to pass. That's why it's essential for us to act in obedience to the instructions and places He has already revealed. The Holy Spirit strengthens us to follow through—He is our divine companion, leading, guiding, and bringing God's word to life in us as we submit to His direction. Don't let anyone stop you from allowing the Holy Spirit to move freely, dwell richly, and operate fully in your life.

In this transformative message, Bishop Mark Brown of Texas unveils a timeless truth: we are called to stand firm—unshaken by the voices around us, unbound by the shadows of past victories, and unpersuaded even by the dearest voices of family and friends. Our hearts must be led by one voice alone—the still, unwavering whisper of the Holy Spirit. As the Word proclaims, “For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God” (Romans 8:14). To be moved by nothing but His truth is to be shaped by His hands, restored by His mercy, redeemed by His sacrifice, and aligned with the divine destiny prepared for us. When we root ourselves in the unchanging truth of God, we are not merely held steady—we are refined, renewed, and divinely positioned in the very places He ordained for us before time began.

In a powerful and transformative message, Bishop Mark Brown from Dallas, TX challenges us with a divine truth: it's not your assignment that's broken—it's your alignment. We often wrestle with frustration, fatigue, and confusion, assuming we've missed our calling or that God has gone silent. But the issue isn't always direction—it's positioning. When your heart, mind, and spirit are not aligned with God, even the right assignment will feel heavy and off-course. Alignment determines clarity. When you're aligned with the will of God, your vision sharpens. Your priorities shift. Distractions lose their grip. What once felt burdensome begins to flow with grace, not because the task changed, but because you did. Alignment is about syncing your spirit with God's timing, God's way, and God's voice. That's why Jesus didn't offer us a life free of responsibility—He offered rest. In Matthew 11:28–30, He said:“Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.” Jesus invites us into an aligned yoke—not one of striving, but of surrender. When we walk in step with Him, the weight we carry becomes light, not because it disappears, but because we are no longer carrying it in our own strength. God's alignment brings peace in pressure, clarity in chaos, and power in purpose. When you're aligned, obedience becomes joyful. Decisions become clearer. Grace meets you in every step. And your assignment, no matter how great, becomes possible—because you're not carrying it alone. So, ask yourself:  Where am I out of alignment? What voices have I allowed to override God's voice? Am I forcing movement when God is calling me to stillness and realignment? The calling on your life remains, but only alignment with God will give you the clarity, courage, and rest you need to fulfill it.

Ever wish you could walk through your home before it's built? This week on Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio, host Carol Morgan chats with Mark Brown and Mary Atchley, co-owners of Walk Your Plans Atlanta. Discover how their 4,000-square-foot interactive floorplan experience helps homebuyers, builders and designers bring blueprints to life. Imagine walking through the blueprint of your dream home – that's the experience that Walk Your Plans Atlanta offers at its 4,000-square-foot warehouse in Roswell, Georgia. The company works with residential and commercial clients to provide full walkthroughs of all kinds of real estate. The warehouse also features two elevation walls to help clients visualize elements such as appliances and cabinetry. “All we really need is a PDF of those architectural plans that has some architectural scale on it, and then we kind of take care of the rest,” said Brown. “When you're in our facility, we run the technology, but the facility is yours to use.” Bringing Walk Your Plans to Atlanta Atchley says the idea for Walk Your Plans Atlanta came right after touring homes with Brown's parents. They were frustrated while trying to visualize a portion of a particular house, and when she checked social media later that day, Atchley saw an ad for Walk Your Plans in Cleveland, Ohio. Together with Brown, they contacted the founder and opened an Atlanta branch last year. Many homebuyers struggle to visualize their dream home, whether it's the dimensions of a room or appointments like windows, cabinets or doors. Walk Your Plans Atlanta closes that gap with real-time walkthroughs of the home's blueprints. “There are folks who work in plans and blueprints and designs all day, every day and so it's really easy for them to visualize these things,” said Atchley. “If you're somebody like me, you know you tell me something is 10 feet, and that just doesn't mean much to me. This is a tool to help them visualize their space before construction begins.” Walk Your Plans Atlanta is a great tool for home shoppers, but also for builders and architects looking for a faster “yes” from prospective buyers. Brown describes the experience as buyers finally “feeling the size of the rooms,” allowing them to discover what feels right at scale, while the builders can communicate their thoughts as well. “It's a collaborative environment, and that's what gets everybody kind of talking,” said Brown. Make Changes Now, Save More Later As clients walk through their home plans, changes are often brought to the builder's attention. Atchley estimates that 10 to 20m changes are brought up in each session, which adds up quickly and saves clients more than $20,000 in the long run. Atchley said, “We like to say, if you make one change while you are on site, your session has paid for itself.” Scale is often the client's biggest “aha” moment when they walk through their home plans. Whether it's a secondary bedroom taking up too much space or a closet barely large enough, a Walk Your Plans Atlanta session is an excellent opportunity to discover those issues and pivot. Commercial Spaces Walk Your Plans Atlanta has worked with commercial clients, including medical facilities, restaurants and offices. During a restaurant walkthrough, the group brought along the head chef and quickly realized that it needed to reconfigure the kitchen. After making plans to remove an unnecessary wall, the group discovered that it could expand the dining area and accommodate more seating. Similarly, when a pediatric dental office booked the warehouse, it brought a stroller to ensure parents could navigate the hallways. Walk Your Home Plan Today Subscription packages are available for tradespersons – builders, architects and designers – that include tailored experiences. The more hours a client buys, the more they save, so tradespersons are encouraged to purchase packages instead of individual appointments. The company proudly offers flexible scheduling to ...

Mike's Minute: Winston Peters is wrong about the Pacific

I am sad to report that Winston Peters is wrong. His thinking that the Pacific favours friendship has been proven naive. As I have always said, chequebooks win and we don't have a chequebook and even his goodwill gesture in 2017, when he lined up along side Labour and handed out a billion dollars, has proven woefully short. The Chinese have shown over the weekend that the world is changing, and in a dramatic way, and we haven't even mentioned the word Trump yet. The Cooks deal is about mining the seabed. It's about things at great depth in the ocean that are worth a fortune. In the meantime the Chinese navy has arrived locally and we are busy diverting planes while having no idea why they have done what they have done. The best reasoning I have seen so far is from Mick Ryan, who appears on this show periodically. He is ex-military and a great thinker and is deeply worried. If he is, we all should be. His theory is the Chinese are reminding Australia that you might want to stay local instead of wandering off and doing your exercises in places like, oh, I don't know, Taiwan? If you don't know what's coming and when, staying local makes sense. They are sending a message. Is it legal? Yes. It's international waters so it's international law and nothing has been broken, apart from the fact they are rude by not letting anyone know. But then that's the point. There is also a sense that some sort of picking of sides is coming i.e AUKUS or no AUKUS. We might like to think about that as well. We might also like to look at our defence forces and wonder, yet again, if we have tried our luck just a little too long and what's left of what we have, might need a bit more dough spent on it. But, as for the Pacific, Mark Brown will say nice things. But money talks and it has talked. The Pacific generally are being, or have been, bought off by Chinese money, whether its security like the Solomons or mining like the Cooks. Friendship doesn't solve any of it. The leader of the Act Party has been in plenty of headlines in the last two weeks, ranging from a controversial (and historic) letter written on behalf of constituent Philip Polkinghorne to an attempt to drive a Land Rover up the steps of parliament. Remarkably, he had a pop at an "ill-advised" Christopher Luxon. And that's just scraping the surface; there are the questions around the response to Tim Jago, the teacher-only days, the school lunches. Across the board, he is steadfast in insisting he's erred not even a skerrick. Is it an obduracy born of being a one-man band for so long, or is he going through a Prince Hal phase, getting some stuff out of his system before he becomes the king (or deputy prime minister, at least)? Annabelle Lee-Mather, Ben Thomas and Toby Manhire thrash all that out. Plus: how much alarm are the latest cluster of opinion polls causing for National and Luxon? Does a cavalcade of health issues represent a serious political headache for the government? What should we make of the findings in the much-delayed Manurewa Marae data inquiry? About 400 people - including Te Pāti Māori co-leader Debbie Ngarewa-Packer - have taken to the streets to protest the Cook Islands Prime Minister's recent decisions. The protest took place outside of parliament in Avarua, a day after Mark Brown returned from China where he signed several agreements. The biggest overarching framework, the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, has just been made public. The New Zealand Government feels Mr Brown should have been more transparent over his deals that he signed with China. Caleb Fotheringham has more.

There's controversy over a New Zealand MP taking part in an anti-government protest in the Cook Islands. Te Pāti Māori co-leader Debbie Ngarewa-Packer has taken part in a rally against Mark Brown's government over its new strategic partnership with China. The deal will see the countries cooperate more on trade, investment, and tourism, with China providing a $4 million grant for future projects. Labour's Ginny Andersen told Mike Hosking it's not something she would do, but different things do it for different people. She says that if she wants do go and do that and she's not breaking the law, then alright. National's Mark Mitchell agreed, saying that if he was travelling on personal business he wouldn't join a protest or interfere with the internal matters, but Ngarewa-Packer has chosen to inject herself into this situation, and that's up to her. The Cook Islands Prime Minister is hoping to have an opportunity to talk with the New Zealand government to heal some of the rift from his China trip. Mark Brown returned to Avarua on Monday afternoon following his week-long state visit where he signed a "comprehensive strategic partnership" to boost his nation's relationship with Beijing. Prior to signing the deal, he said that there was "no need for New Zealand to sit in the room with us" after the New Zealand Foreign Affairs Minister raised concerns about the agreement. Caleb Fotheringham reports from Rarotonga.

The Cook Islands prime minister, Mark Brown, has provoked the wrath of NZ's foreign minister with his decision to head to China to sign a new strategic deal. By failing to consult on the pact, says Winston Peters, the Cook Islands was in breach of commitments made as a member of the New Zealand realm. Toby Manhire, Annabelle Lee-Mather and Ben Thomas put on their geopolitical goggles to assess the strain in relations, which comes as the tussle between China and the United States for influence in the Pacific enters a new phase, marked by Donald Trump pursuing an isolationist approach.
