Ryan Hemphill, a Manhattan private equity executive, was charged in a 116-count indictment in April 2025 with multiple counts of predatory sexual assault, rape, and other offenses. The allegations detail a series of acts where Hemphill is accused of subjecting women to "grotesque physical and sexual violence" in his midtown Manhattan apartment.
