Jerry Brudos, famously known as the "Shoe Fetish Slayer" or the "Lust Killer," is a haunting example of how twisted psychology can lead to violent crimes. What started as an obsession with women's shoes and clothes spiraled into horrific murders, showing just how dangerous deep-rooted psychological issues can become. His crimes stunned the nation and raised serious questions about the connection between paraphilia and predatory behavior. Our other podcast: "FEARFUL" - https://open.spotify.com/show/56ajNkLiPoIat1V2KI9n5c?si=OyM38rdsSSyyzKAFUJpSywMERCH:https://www.redbubble.com/people/wickedandgrim/shop?asc=uPatreon: https://www.patreon.com/wickedandgrim?fan_landing=trueYoutube: https://www.youtube.com/@wickedlifeFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/wickedandgrim/ Instagram:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/wickedandgrim/?hl=enTwitter: https://twitter.com/wickedandgrimWebsite: https://www.wickedandgrim.com/ Hosted on Acast. At first glance, there wasn't much to the mild and unassuming Jerry Brudos; however, when investigators looked into his background, they discovered several arrests for theft, prowling, and sexual assault. And the more they learned about Brudos' life, the more certain they became that he was the man they were looking for.Ultimately, Jerry Brudos was convicted of the murders of Jan Whitney, Karen Sprinker, and Linda Salee and given three life sentences. His capture and incarceration were a big relief to the women of Oregon, but his cooperation with law enforcement and the FBI would prove invaluable as the latter established what would eventually become the Behavioral Analysis Unit.ReferencesAssociated Press. 1969. Over the course of 1968 and well into 1969, several young women in Salem, Oregon went missing and would later turn up dead—all murdered and showing signs of having been tortured. Many of the cases bore certain similarities, but it wasn't until investigators questioned the friends of one of the victims, Karen Sprinker, that they came to identify a suspect and eventually arrested thirty-year-old Jerome “Jerry” Brudos. At first glance, there wasn't much to the mild and unassuming Jerry Brudos; however, when investigators looked into his background, they discovered several arrests for theft, prowling, and sexual assault. Known by some as the Lust Killer or The Shoe Fetish Slayer, whatever you call him, he will make your skin crawl. Join us today as we take a look at the life and crimes of Jerry Brudos.
We got a weird one today! Wow. Jerry Brudos was a serial killer who became completely consumed with sexual fantasies revolving around women's shoes - specifically high heels - and women's undergarments. He wanted women he could control - to dress and pose exactly how he wanted, when he wanted. And if couldn't get them to do that in life, he would use their dead bodies to quench his increasingly kinky desires. How did he become so singularly focused? Where did his obsession with women's shoes, bras, panties, and more begin? We take a look at kink, today, and how you can take it way, way too far. *Extremely Graphic Content* - Viewer discretion is advised.American serial killer, Jerry Brudos began his gruesome spree in the Summer of 1968. From a young age, Brudos showed signs of a fetish towards women's shoes and later ladies undergarments. His fetishes eventually grew into fantasies, and he was institutionalized due for his underlying hatred towards women and being diagnosed with schizophrenia. Keeping "trophies" from his victims was Jerry's M.O., and his advances on women eventually became his downfall.
