Trace Evidence relaunches with the story of Judy Martins. Twenty-two year old Judy Martins was a bright and talented student attending Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. During the early morning hours of Wednesday, May 24th, 1978, Judy donned a silly red wig and visited multiple buildings on campus to hang out and joke around with friends. At approximately 2:30 AM she left Dunbar Hall to go back to her room in Engleman Hall, a little over 1000 feet away. She never made it back to her room and has never been seen again. Nearly fifty years later and not a single trace of Judy was ever found, no suspects were ever named and no answers have ever been found.Follow Trace Evidence on Social MediaTwitter --- Instagram --- TikTok --- YouTube --- Like Facebook Page --- Join Facebook Group --- Threads --- Like MeWe Page --- Join MeWe Group --- BlueskySuppport Trace EvidencePatreon --- Paypal --- Cash App --- Buy Me A CoffeeTrace Evidence Merch ShopsTeePublic --- ShopTEPod --- SpreadshopAll Other LinksOfficial Trace Evidence Website --- LinkTreeMusic Courtesy of:"Lost Time" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 License http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/"Echoes of Time" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 License http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/"Galactic Rap" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 License http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/#truecrimepodcast #unsolvedmysteries #coldcase #coldcaseinvestigation #murder #murdermystery #missingperson #missingpersons #truecrimecommunity #mysterypodcast #truecrime #coldcasefiles #truecrimestories #crimelovers #truecrimeaddict #truecrimejunkie #crimescene #justiceforall #missing #crimesquad #podcastcommunity #sleuthsunite #darkhistories #criminalmindset #detective #detectivediaries #forensics #forensicfiles #crimestories #crimepodcast #traceevidence #traceevidencepodcast #criminalinvestigation #justiceforvictims #detectivework #truecrimediscussion #podcastfamily #listenandsolve #crimefans #listentotraceevidence #uncoverthetruth #podcastrecommendations #podcastlove #podcastlife #truecrimeobsessed #followtheclues #cluefinders #podcastaddict #unsolvedmurders #unsolveddisappearances #detectiveatheart #jointheinvestigation #disappearance #vanishing #abduction #gonemissing #upandvanished #pacheco #stevenpacheco #podcasting #crimetalk #crimeanalysis #theories #judymartins #martins #kentstate #kentstateuniversity #ohiocrimeBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/trace-evidence--3207798/support.

2020 was a dark year for all of us, with the COVID pandemic in full force, but for two Midlands families in particular, and the lives of so many others, 2020 holds an extra dark reminder for them. This time around on The True Crime Enthusiast Podcast, I bring you an account of the terrifying rampage of an individual who, had he not been stopped when he was, would undoubtedly have caused much more carnage. The episode contains details and descriptions of crimes and events, involving crimes against children, references of a sexual nature and with disturbing descriptions of injury detail, that some listeners may find disturbing or distressing, so discretion is advised whilst listening in. One woman's deadly obsession with a haunted archival film precipitates her undoing in Black Flame (Tor Nightfire, 2025) from the USA Today bestselling author of Manhunt, Gretchen Felker-Martin. A cursed film. A haunted past. A deadly secret. The Baroness, an infamous exploitation film long thought destroyed by Nazi fire, is discovered fifty years later. When lonely archivist Ellen Kramer—deeply closeted and pathologically repressed—begins restoring the hedonistic movie, it unspools dark desires from deep within her. As Ellen is consumed by visions and voices, she becomes convinced the movie is real, and is happening to her—and that frame by frame, she is unleashing its occult horrors on the world. Her life quickly begins to spiral out of control. Until it all fades to black, and all that remains is a voice asking a question Ellen can't answer but can't get out of her mind. Do you want it? In the 1990s in a suburb of Chicago, seven people were murdered inside a Brown's Chicken restaurant terrifying the entire area. Police aggressively investigated the case, but no suspects were uncovered for years, until they finally got a break. I will be talking with Patrick Wohl, the author of “Something Big: The True Story of the Brown's Chicken Massacre, A Decade-long Manhunt, and the Trials That Followed.”

In the early days after the escape, the manhunt for Vicky and Casey White expanded rapidly from a local search into a national operation that drew in multiple federal agencies. At first, authorities treated it as a potential abduction, believing the veteran officer had been taken hostage by a dangerous inmate serving a 75-year sentence for attempted murder. But as inconsistencies piled up, the focus shifted. The U.S. Marshals Service quickly joined the investigation, launching a multi-state search that spanned Alabama, Tennessee, and Kentucky. They released detailed bulletins with Casey's tattoos and Vicky's vehicle descriptions, warning the public that the escapee was considered “armed and extremely dangerous.” Media coverage exploded, with photos of the pair dominating national headlines as the story morphed from a kidnapping mystery into a full-blown fugitive romance.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.com

I FINALY played this one for the first time and damned if it isn't the most impressive video game I've ever played.I didn't love Vice City back in the day and kinda checked out from the GTA series after that. But hosting this show got me to play San Andreas, GTA IV, and now GTA V, and with each entry I like the series more and more. IV and San Andreas are fun, but V takes it to a whole new level. Michael, Trevor, and Franklin are awesome, the missions are entertaining, the story is interesting, and the world of this game is just, I know I keep saying it, impressive! Our GTA guy, Andre, joins me this week to break down the story mode of Grand Theft Auto V. We spoil everything, get into the quest for The Big One, talk about our favourite plot points and side missions, and heap as much praise as we could squeeze into a 75 minute review onto GTA V this week. A rare-perfect score is in contention on this episode. And before we theft autos, I put together another (super-sized) edition of the Infamous Intro! This week we talk about the crazy number of remakes and remastered we're getting these days. Did I score Mario kart World too high when I reviewed it?? And what 5 games do I consider 'must buys' from the last couple years??Plus we play another round of 'Play One, Remake One, Erase One', too! The Nation's First Manhunt, retired Secret Service agent Todd Hiles and retired FBI agent Stewart Fillmore take you back to the beginning of modern federal law enforcement—to a murder that would ignite America's very first nationwide manhunt. When FBI Special Agent Edwin C. Shanahan was shot and killed in 1925 by Martin J. Durkin, a ruthless car thief who had already wounded four police officers to escape capture, it sent shockwaves through Chicago and the fledgling Bureau of Investigation. Shanahan's death marked the first time an FBI agent was killed in the line of duty—and it demanded justice on a national scale.Hiles and Fillmore unravel how Durkin's desperate flight triggered an unprecedented, coast-to-coast pursuit that would reshape how America hunted its most dangerous fugitives. What began as one agent's tragic death became a turning point—uniting law enforcement agencies, forging new investigative methods, and laying the groundwork for the modern FBI.From the streets of Chicago to the train stations in Texas, Back in Crime uncovers the legacy of Edwin C. Shanahan, the determination of the men who chased his killer, and the manhunt that defined a new era of justice in America.Follow Texas Crime Travelers:TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@texascrimetra...Instagram: https://instagram.com/texascrimetrave...Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/texascrimetr...Substack: https://substack.com/@texascrimetravelershttps://texascrimetravelers.com/Have a specific case in mind that you'd like us to explore or just want to get in touch? Detective Munch thinks a woman has been abducted by the killer he's hunted for a year: the "Bowery Stalker," who tortures and rapes his victims before killing them. With a lead on a new suspect, he and Tutuola drive upstate looking for the secluded cabin of Darryl Kern. They find he's been using the identities of other missing people. Fin and John are forced to share a motel room, where the new partners bond for the first time. A hot tip leads them to a bunker in the woods where multiple bodies are found. The detectives are shocked to discover the unhelpful eyewitness to the abduction had actually been Kern's accomplice. After Kern carjacks a mother and child, cell phone data shows the partners heading north, and Kern is nabbed by police in Canada. But with Canadian law prohibiting the extradition of anyone facing capital punishment, ADA Alex Cabot must convince a provincial judge they will only charge the serial killer with stealing the getaway vehicle (wink, wink). We're talking about Special Victims Unit season two episode eighteen "Manhunt." Our guest is Ronald Young Jr from the "Weight for It" podcast. This episode gets its cues from the landmark legal case surrounding the extradition of serial killer Charles Ng.
