I FINALY played this one for the first time and damned if it isn't the most impressive video game I've ever played.I didn't love Vice City back in the day and kinda checked out from the GTA series after that. But hosting this show got me to play San Andreas, GTA IV, and now GTA V, and with each entry I like the series more and more. IV and San Andreas are fun, but V takes it to a whole new level. Michael, Trevor, and Franklin are awesome, the missions are entertaining, the story is interesting, and the world of this game is just, I know I keep saying it, impressive! Our GTA guy, Andre, joins me this week to break down the story mode of Grand Theft Auto V. We spoil everything, get into the quest for The Big One, talk about our favourite plot points and side missions, and heap as much praise as we could squeeze into a 75 minute review onto GTA V this week. A rare-perfect score is in contention on this episode. And before we theft autos, I put together another (super-sized) edition of the Infamous Intro! This week we talk about the crazy number of remakes and remastered we're getting these days. Did I score Mario kart World too high when I reviewed it?? And what 5 games do I consider 'must buys' from the last couple years??Plus we play another round of 'Play One, Remake One, Erase One', too! This one features 3 Rockstar games: Red Dead Revolver, Bully, and Manhunt. Thanks for getting us to 350!!See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Detective Munch thinks a woman has been abducted by the killer he's hunted for a year: the "Bowery Stalker," who tortures and rapes his victims before killing them. With a lead on a new suspect, he and Tutuola drive upstate looking for the secluded cabin of Darryl Kern. They find he's been using the identities of other missing people. Fin and John are forced to share a motel room, where the new partners bond for the first time. A hot tip leads them to a bunker in the woods where multiple bodies are found. The detectives are shocked to discover the unhelpful eyewitness to the abduction had actually been Kern's accomplice. After Kern carjacks a mother and child, cell phone data shows the partners heading north, and Kern is nabbed by police in Canada. But with Canadian law prohibiting the extradition of anyone facing capital punishment, ADA Alex Cabot must convince a provincial judge they will only charge the serial killer with stealing the getaway vehicle (wink, wink). We're talking about Special Victims Unit season two episode eighteen "Manhunt." Our guest is Ronald Young Jr from the "Weight for It" podcast. This episode gets its cues from the landmark legal case surrounding the extradition of serial killer Charles Ng. Today's Headlines: The FBI is in Utah chasing down leads in the Charlie Kirk assassination, releasing video of the suspected gunman's escape and offering $100K for tips. Meanwhile, Trump plans to award Kirk the Medal of Freedom, VP JD Vance escorted his casket, and MAGA lawmakers are pushing for a Capitol statue. Security scares piled on, too—Capitol Police cleared a bomb threat at DNC HQ and multiple HBCUs went into lockdown after threats, all later deemed not credible. Bloomberg dropped 18,000 Epstein emails showing his tight post-conviction ties with Ghislaine Maxwell, plus a spreadsheet of $1.8M in gifts and payments. Across the pond, Britain's ambassador to the U.S. got fired after Epstein's “birthday book” and emails revealed his buddy-buddy relationship with the disgraced financier. On the economy, grocery inflation hit the highest since 2022—coffee up 20%, beef up 16%, even bananas pricier—thanks in part to tariffs. And abroad, Brazil's ex-president Jair Bolsonaro was convicted of plotting a coup, including assassinations of Lula da Silva and others, and sentenced to 27 years. Unsurprisingly, he's crying “witch hunt” as his supporters riot. In part one of Red Eye Radio with Gary McNamara and Eric Harley, authorities have collected a home surveillance camera that may contain clues as they race to catch a suspected assassin following the shooting death of conservative speaker Charlie Kirk Wednesday. Additional campus footage shows the same man climbing down from the roof of a building they belive to be the sniper's perch. The manhunt continues and authorities are asking the public to provide any information leading to the capture of Charlie Kirk's killer. Also what part of Charlie Kirk's message sparked enough outrage to make him an assassin's target, organizers are now considering doing away with outdoor events and rallies for public figures in the wake of Charlie's death and the assassination attempts on Donald Trump, audio from Ben Shapiro reconsidering his position on safety when speaking at college campuses, President Trump will posthumously award Charlie Kirk the Presidential Medal of Freedom and inflation numbers released show higher prices on many products and services.
