THURSDAY 11/16/17 at 6pm ET/ 5pm CT/ 3pm PT Join us for "MIKE ON THE MIC" w/Host MIKE ALLBRIGHT and Special Guest: ADAM GENTRY (Survivor Cook Islands)!! MIKE is so excited to have ADAM join him tonight to recap the 8th episode of Survivor: HHH, titled Russian Roulette. After last week's complete #Blindside to Jessica, things were sure to start heating up. In one of the most interesting #RewardDinners ever served, on a one by one basis, of course another #Clue was on the menu! It was fun to watch how those who found it tried to hide it from those who would follow them to the feast. Only a few actually found it, but it caused a battle once back at camp. Ryan happened to be the quickest to the #HiddenImmunityIdol, but no-one knows he has it! And, we had another EPIC #TribalCouncil that came down to a #Tie between Joe and Desi. On the #ReVote, it was Desi who was voted out. What do you think about Lauren finally finding the #Advantage that's been rolled up and hidden in the can of nails since episode 5? Do you think she was right in playing it last night? #LetsTalkSurvivor Our listeners are always invited to join in the discussion! There are 2 ways to join us: Call in to chat with MIKE and ADAM GENTRY on air at 1-347-237-5506 and/or click our link, then scroll down till you see our Live Chat Room where you can also post questions and comments. This week’s episode of Out Now with Aaron and Abe features our Round 2 attempt. Sadly, guests Adam Gentry and Peter Paras joined in to record one of the best podcast episodes every recorded, only to become victims of a technical error. Still, this did not stop Peter from jumping back on later on to record a make-up episode. This is a loose one, as the guys discuss Batman v Superman (4:48), Daredevil (18:53), Rogue One (31:50), The Boss (1:01:54), Everybody Wants Some!! (1:06:05), Out Now Feedback (1:29:44) and more. This week’s episode of Out Now with Aaron and Abe features Adam Gentry and VeryAware.com’s Courtney Howard joining in with the boys to talk a few of the indie/arthouse films from the late summer. Among topics covered, this episode features a fun round of Know Everybody (4:30), some Out Now Quickies™ (12:00), and then the films: The Trip To Italy (20:43), Frank (37:40), The Congress (49:20), and Love Is Strange (1:09:15). There is also Out Now Feedback (1:17:08), a fun Game (1:33:11), What’s Out Now (1:38:38), and some Bloopers following this week’s close out song (1:46:58). So now, if you’ve got an hour or so to kill…
Here’s another bonus episode of Out Now with Aaron and Abe and full of content. This week the guys look at 2013's foreign films with guest Mark Hobin, have a brief chat about I, Frankenstein with guest Jordan Grout, and recap the Sundance Film Festival with Adam Gentry, which has been a yearly tradition. Additionally, some of the regular segments are brought up, including a brief “Know Everybody”, some “Out Now Quickies”, and some other fun that generally comes with the territory. It is a packed bonus episode, so be prepared.
This week’s episode of Out Now with Aaron and Abe is headed to the bay area. They guys are here to talk about Woody Allen’s venture to San Franciso, in his film Blue Jasmine. Adam Gentry joins on this week’s episode and he is happy to dive right in as well. Additionally, all of the regular segments are present as well, including “Know Everybody”, “Out Now Quickies”, “Movie Call Back”, “Out Now Feedback”, and Trailer Talk (Saving Mr. Banks and August: Osage County). No breakdowns happen on this podcast but it is still a fun listen anyway.
This week’s episode of Out Now with Aaron and Abe finds the guys taking a step back from the major theater releases and focusing, instead, on many of the films currently in limited release. Abe is around for a little fun, but the majority of the episode finds Aaron and guests Adam Gentry and Mark Johnson delving into a good number of films, including Before Midnight, The Place Beyond the Pines, Frances Ha, Mud, and more. There is a little time for some regular segments, such as “Out Now Quickies”, but this is a different sort of episode, that finds time to mention the smaller films that deserve more attention.
This week’s episode of Out Now with Aaron and Abe is packed with topics! The main review has Aaron, Abe, and guests Adam Gentry, Jose Cordova, and Mark Johnson talking Zero Dark Thirty, but the group also spends time discussing the Sundance and Slamdance Film Festivals, which Adam was able to attend, along with their thoughts on the Oscar nominations, given that Mark writes about these various award ceremonies. And there is still time for all of the regular segments as well, including “Know Everybody”, “Trailer Talk” (Olympus Has Fallen), “Out Now Quickies”, “Movie Call Back”, Box Office Results, and of course Games. Lots of content, many opinions, and we get an exclusive Mark Johnson reveal at the end! So now, if you’ve got an hour to kill…
So here is another special bonus episode of Out Now with Aaron and Abe, which is incredibly straightforward, given the nature of the main film being discussed. Aaron is joined by guests Mark Hobin, Adam Gentry, and Maxwell Haddad to discuss the absurdest French fantasy/drama Holy Motors. This is what the entire episode consists of. It is a pure review show, with no other segments and it does go in depth about the film, meaning that people who have not seen Holy Motors will have the potential to be spoiled on the film, were they to listen to this conversation. That said, if you have heard of the film and are at least intrigued by it, feel free to give this episode a whirl I guess. It is certainly a weird film, so perhaps just hearing about its weirdness will be enough to provoke your curiosity into going to see it. Regardless, the guys do their best to provide their prospective. So now, if you’ve got an hour to kill…
This week’s episode of Out Now with Aaron and Abe finds the group going on an unexpected journey into the unknown, as Aaron, Abe, and guests Alex Billington, Mark Hobin, and Adam Gentry discuss Peter Jackson’s return to Middle-Earth with the first part of this new trilogy based on The Hobbit, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. There is also plenty of time spent on the other segments as well, including “Know Everybody”, “Trailer Talk” (Star Trek into Darkness and Pacific Rim), “Movie Call Back”, “Out Now Quickies”, Box Office Results, and of course Games (one of Abe’s favorites). This is another in depth episode for another film that deserves some heavy attention, but that doesn’t mean we can’t all have fun and argue with each other. So now, if you’ve got an hour to kill…
This week’s episode of Out Now with Aaron and Abe is another ambitious experiment. Aaron and Abe decided that due to the many films that came out over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend (sorry non-American listeners), it would be best to have several frequent guests of the show all give their thoughts on some of the various movies released in separate recordings. So what you will get here are thoughts on Life of Pi, Silver Linings Playbook, Rise of the Guardians, Red Dawn, and Hitchcock. The guys are joined by Mark Hobin, Adam Gentry, Mark Johnson, Maxwell Haddad, Jordan Grout, and Liz Manashil, in various segments of the show. There will be certain movies covered multiple times, but hopefully the different guest will provide fresh enough perspectives, making this episode’s experimental format pay off in a good way. So now, if you’ve got an hour (or two) to kill…

This week’s episode of Out Now with Aaron and Abe finds Aaron minus his co-host Abe, but the show must go on! He is joined by guests Alan Aguilera, Mark Hobin, and Adam Gentry, and the group discusses the historical drama, Lincoln, from director Steven Spielberg. They also go into a detailed discussion about Spielberg’s post-2000 career as a director. There is still time spent on the other segments as well, including “Know Everybody”, “Trailer Talk” (Side Effects and House of Cards), “Movie Call Back”, and Box Office Results. It’s an episode with a lot to cover, but that is expected when dealing with the films of one of America’s biggest directors. So now, if you’ve got an hour to kill…
This week’s episode of Out Now with Aaron and Abe shows all of the ‘Outies’ that everything is indeed connected, as the boys review Cloud Atlas, with guests Adam Gentry and Alex Billington from Firstshowing.net. It is certainly a full review, as the gang really delves into the film, but word of warning, there are some big spoilers in this review. Plenty of time for the other regular segments as well, including “Know Everybody”, “Trailer Talk” (Iron Man 3 and Evil Dead), “Movie Call Back”, “Out Now Quickies”, Box Office Talk, and of course Games. It is a full episode, complete with everyone playing multiple roles, so feel free to find all the connections you can. So now, if you’ve got an hour to kill…
This special episode of Out Now with Aaron and Abe is our epic result show. Aaron, Abe, and guests Alan Aguilera, Mark Hobin, and Adam Gentry were tasked with making a big wager back in May. The 1st Annual Top Summer Movies Gamble, where everyone had made a list of what films they thought would be the top ten biggest box office successes of the summer, has now come to a close. Each participant had created their own list (and added a few dark horses as well) and the podcast once again lays out the rules and how scoring will work, followed by the results as to who came out on top overall. In addition, everyone also goes over all of their biggest hits and misses as far as the summer films were concerned. Hilarious hijinks, of course, ensue, as well as the name of our ultimate winner for this awesome challenge. So now, if you’ve got an hour to kill…
This special bonus episode of Out Now with Aaron and Abe is a continuation of The Dark Knight Rises episode. While the first episode was all about reviewing Batman’s latest adventures, while staying spoiler-free, this episode features a spoiler-filled discussion about the film. There is some quick talk about The Dark Knight Rises’ box office totals, but after that, the rest of the show is dedicated to The Dark Knight Rises and everything about it. Aaron (and Abe, eventually) is joined by guests Scott Mendelson, Jordan Grout, Alan Aguilera, and Adam Gentry. Differing viewpoints certainly lead to some spirited conversing, but overall, everyone just wants to pick apart (in positive and negative ways) the most anticipated film of the year. So now, if you’ve got an hour to kill…
This week’s episode is only ‘Part 1’ of a large conversation. The Dark Knight Rises has been hotly anticipated by pretty much everyone, which of course includes Aaron, Abe, and guests Mark Hobin and Adam Gentry. While this is a regular episode of Out Now with Aaron and Abe, the review for The Dark Knight Rises is a spoiler-free one, which serves as Part 1, because a longer, spoiler-filled discussion will be soon released as well. Still, the gang does discuss the epic conclusion to Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, along with delving into the regular segments, which includes “Know Everybody”, “Trailer Talk” (Man of Steel and Oz: The Great and Powerful), “Movie Call Back”, games, and other fun. It may just be Part 1, but it’s definitely a big big movie episode. So now, if you’ve got an hour to kill…
On Skype, no one can hear you scream…This week’s episode of Out Now with Aaron and Abe is a packed one, as Aaron and Abe are joined by Scott Mendelson, Adam Gentry, and Jordan Grout to discuss the latest sci-fi film from Ridley Scott, Prometheus. It is a packed episode, as the gang goes in deep with this one (and also do a little spoiler talk at the very end). Regular segments of course as well. “Know Everybody”, “Trailer Talk” (Django Unchained and Flight), Box Office Results, “Movie Call Back”, and some fun games to enjoy. The key thing to take away though, the group answers every question about Prometheus and LOST in this episode…yeah, every single one. So now, if you’ve got an hour to kill…
This week’s episode of Out Now with Aaron and Abe takes a step back into the campy direction of a cult classic soap opera. Adam Gentry (and, briefly, a very special guest) join Aaron and Abe to discuss the new Tim Burton/Johnny Depp film, Dark Shadows, a theatrical remake of the old TV series of the same name. Is this strangely fitting for a Mother’s Day episode? Maybe. Still, the gang does get a chance to go over a couple new trailers (Gangster Squad and The Campaign), as well as participate in the regular segments, including “Know Everybody”, “Movie Callback”, Box Office results, and the return of one of the older games. Plenty of supernatural goodness this week to enjoy. So now, if you’ve got an hour to kill…
Time for another Bonus Round with Aaron and Abe. This special episode of Out Now with Aaron and Abe is the first where the gauntlet has been thrown down and Aaron, Abe, and guests Alan Aguilera, Mark Hobin, and Adam Gentry are tasked with making a big wager. This is the 1st Annual Top Summer Movies Gamble, where everyone has made a list of what they think will be the top ten biggest films of the summer (in regards to box office). So each participant has created their own list (and added a few dark horses as well) and the podcast lays out the rules and how scoring will work when they reconvene for a follow up show in September at some point. And then the guys go over there list and bicker as to why they think they are in the right. Hilarious hijinks, of course, ensue. So now, if you’ve got an hour to kill…
This special bonus episode of Out Now with Aaron and Abe is missing an Abe, but does have an Aaron, and he is joined by Adam Gentry and Mark Hobin to discuss a couple of the recent Art House, Foreign, and Independent films that have been in theaters. A few different films are discussed, but special emphasis is placed on The Kid with a Bike, Bully, and A Separation. This is much more a free form show, as the trio simply discusses several films and forgoes having all of the regular show segments. That said, there is certainly plenty of content to check out.
This week’s episode of Out Now with Aaron and Abe sees the boys stranded out in the cold and intense wilderness, as they are discussing the new Liam Neeson survival drama, The Grey. Joining the duo, also in from the cold and intense wilderness of Park City, Utah, is Adam Gentry, who unfortunately did not catch up with The Grey, but did get to attend both the Slamdance and the Sundance Film Festival. So Aaron and Abe cover The Grey, Adam talks about some of the films he got to see, and the trio have some fun with the other segments of the show as well, including “know everybody”, trailer talk (Act of Valor and Wrath of the Titans), some retro reviews, box office results, and other fun stuff. Liam Neeson would be proud.
This week’s episode of Out Now with Aaron and Abe is the final bonus episode related to the year of 2011. It is the much anticipated best films of 2011 where Aaron and Abe count down their top films of the year. Joining the duo in counting down their favorite films are Mark Hobin, Adam Gentry, and, eventually, Alan Aguilera. Regardless of the fact that some members of this group had a fundamentally different approach to what “Top 10” list means, everyone gets a chance to speak their peace about what they feel were the best films of 2011. There is plenty of discussion about these films, as well as some other films that deserved honorable mention, as well as some that fell into certain other categories. It’s a packed show yet again.
So here is another special holiday bonus episode of Out Now with Aaron and Abe. This episode covers The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, with the first twenty minutes or so of the actual review going over the gang’s overall thoughts on the film; before they go heavy into spoilers (a warning is provided). While this episode actually doesn’t feature Abe (aww), Aaron does his best and is joined by Adam Gentry, Alan Aguilera, and for a brief time, a very, very special guest to discuss the “feel bad movie of Christmas”. The gang also discusses the new teaser for Ridley Scott’s Prometheus and has some fun with the “Know Everybody” segment. But really, Dragon Tattoo becomes a fairly meaty discussion, given are unusual choice to delve into spoilers.
This week’s episode of Out Now with Aaron and Abe is short on Abe but has Aaron and a couple other A’s (plus one M) to make it another Triple A episode! That’s right; Aaron, Alan Aguilera, Adam Gentry, and Mark Hobin all join in on the show this week to discuss the new silent film from director Michel Hazanavicius, The Artist. Lots of discussion about the film and tangents are within the main review section, but all the regular segments make their way into the episode as well. As always, the other segments include “Know Everybody”, Trailer Talk (The Three Stooges and Battleship), Box Office Results & Predictions, Retro Review, and Game Time.
This week’s special episode of Out Now with Aaron and Abe is jam packed with film discussion and guests! Given that neither Aaron nor Abe had much desire to go in depth in discussing Twilight or Happy Feet 2, a decision was made to discuss many of the recent Art House/Independent films that have come to theaters this fall. To help the duo in this discussion, Mark Hobin, Adam Gentry, Mark Johnson, and Gerard Iribe all join in to provide their perspectives. The films discussed include Melancholia, Martha Marcy May Marlene, Take Shelter, Margin Call, Like Crazy, The Devil’s Double, and The Skin I Live In, with mention to several other films as well. And even with all that, there was still time to include a few of the regular segments including “Know Everybody” and Trailer Talk.
This week’s episode of Out Now with Aaron and Abe is a triple threat, both in terms the number of participants and the number of films covered in our main review section. Adam Gentry joins the duo in an effort to cover the three big releases from the weekend, which includes the sci-fi adventure In Time, the Hunter S. Thompson adventure The Rum Diary, and the fairy tale adventure Puss in Boots. Certainly an episode packed with content and there are still the regular segments of the show as well, including “know everybody”, trailer talk (The Darkest Hour and The Lorax), retro reviews, box office results and predictions, and a little game time as well.
