n this episode of the Massive Passive Cashflow Podcast, Gary Wilson reconnects with Allan Burns—a New Jersey real estate broker, team leader, and systems-driven entrepreneur who has mastered the art of building plug-and-play real estate operations. From expanding across multiple states to integrating AI into daily workflows, Allan breaks down exactly how modern agents can scale faster than ever—without burning out, without guesswork, and without franchise-level overhead. Allan shares his early beginnings working outdoors in construction before discovering real estate as a pathway to freedom. Since then, he has built a multi-state real estate model centered on systems, operations, repeatability, and creativity. His approach allows agents to plug directly into his ecosystem, get immediate support, and scale their businesses with minimal friction. Throughout the conversation, Gary and Allan dive into the massive opportunities available to agents right now—from automation and AI to new brokerage models that eliminate geographic limitations. Gary also reveals how he uses AI avatars to produce consistent, systemized content, while Allan shows how layering AI on top of strong operational systems creates explosive efficiency. We explore why creativity—not just hustle—is one of the most underrated skills in real estate, how to build systems that work even when you're not around, and how to expand into other markets without the heavy costs and restrictions of traditional franchises. Allan also explains how his Navy-inspired operational discipline allowed him to build systems anyone can follow—giving agents and investors plug-and-play access to leads, training, and expansion opportunities in new markets. Together, Gary and Allan paint a clear picture of the future of real estate: highly automated, system-driven, AI-supported, and borderless. Whether you're an agent looking to scale, an investor seeking leverage, or a team leader aiming to expand beyond your local market, this episode is loaded with practical insights, big-picture strategy, and actionable how-to steps to build a real estate business that can grow anywhere. What You Will Learn: How Allan transitioned into real estate—and built a multi-state operation And how the desire for freedom pushed him to create systems anyone can plug into. Why creativity is a competitive advantage in real estate And how thinking differently can generate opportunities beyond traditional transactions. How AI is transforming the real estate business From automated content creation with AI avatars to integrating AI in operations, productivity, and scaling decisions. How plug-and-play systems simplify expansion Why systems modeled after military-level operations allow any agent to step in, follow the process, and succeed. How to scale your business into multiple states without franchise costs A modern brokerage approach that removes geographic barriers and reduces overhead. Why every agent is an entrepreneur—not an employee And how this mindset shift opens up unlimited income and creative pathways. How real estate can create multiple interconnected business opportunities From brokerage and investing to property management and education. How to create a business that runs even when you're not present The importance of operational structure, delegating tasks, and automating workflows. Doug interviews Ang Allan-Burns a fellow podcaster, Amazon #1 bestselling author of "Do I Really Hate Men?" and expert life coach. Ang shares her thoughts on goal setting, relationship dynamics, and personal growth after divorce. From discussing the importance of shared values in relationships to revealing how redundancy became a blessing in disguise, Ang offers valuable thoughts for anyone else navigating life transitions. Ang's practical approach to goal setting, combined with her personal experiences and professional expertise, makes this a must listen for those seeking to create positive change in their lives. KEY TAKEAWAYS Goal setting should include both personal and professional aspects of life, for example many entrepreneurs succeed in business but neglect personal goals, leading to an imbalance. Core values identification is crucial for relationship success as misaligned values between partners often contribute to relationship breakdown. Visual reminders of goals are really powerful, placing goals in multiple locations and using phone screensavers can help maintain focus and motivation. Recovery from divorce requires self-work first. Seeking others to "fix" you without healing yourself first often leads to continued pain. Small, manageable changes are more effective than overwhelming transformations so start with simple daily improvements rather than major life overhauls. Regular goal review and adjustment is essential, reviewing goals quarterly allows for adaptation and ensures they remain relevant to your life. Teaching goal setting to children creates valuable life skills. Involving kids in goal setting helps them develop positive life habits early. Negative thought management is crucial for moving forward, learning to control and replace negative thoughts with positive ones enables progress. BEST MOMENTS "I always say to people that the goals that you have are not as important as the person that you become in pursuit of those goals." "The book came about because I started to write about my divorce and the things that had happened and I wasn't writing for it to be published." "We need to learn how to manage our negative thoughts, when you actually sit down and think about how many negative thoughts you have during a day it's quite a lot, even if you're just having a normal day." "I say to people if you're not happy, move, we're not a tree, we're something different." "The biggest journey of our life is our life, but we don't necessarily have a plan for it." Can a show about a car inhabited by the reincarnated soul of a man's mother tell us something about changing conservative reactions to media? Can a show about a Martian trying to ensure his roommate's boss' dog finds love tell us something about the military industrial complex? How subversive was The Addams Family really and does intent matter to how we understand it today? Jessica and Zach explore all of this and more as they wade into the groovy waters of 1960's fantasy sitcoms.Shortly after sitcoms became the dominant fictional comedic format on television, creators began to experiment with the premise. As American society itself experienced significant cultural upheaval in the 1960s, creators had to use inventive metaphors to tell stories reflective of the social change at their doorstep while also skirting censors and conservative studio executives. Looking through the lens of fantasy sitcoms on the 1960's, Jessica and Zach will see how fantasy sitcoms have been used as a tool to tell stories of marginalized groups and where they have significant blind spots born of the cultural context in which they were created. Scripts are back! After many months resting our script-research muscles, we're back to tackle the first two drafts of Robert Dozier's The Joker is Wild — originally called The Joker's Utility Belt, after the comics story the script is based on. Oddly, this first draft seems to also have scenes that are based on Lorenzo Semple's Hi Diddle Riddle! Holy carbon copy! As usual, draft first-season batscripts tell us much about the show finding and defining itself, and also help us notice some imperfections in the broadcast episode that we hadn't realized were there. They also lead us to a mini Bat Research Lab on a topic very relevant to this script — news anchors!
