In today's second hour, Dawn welcomes in Jennifer Senechal, Founder & Director of Training for Alpha Bravo Canine, a great 501c3 organization that helps pair trained dogs with Veterans who could use some comfort. Senechal joins for a regretful reason though, noting that her organization is being forced out of their current property with explosive rent prices, asking for help from listeners as she tries to continue on with her great work. For more information on the organization and their immediate need, head over to alphabravocanine.org.
My first guest offers a wealth of insight and availability for enjoying healthy, energizing, and chef-driven meals for at home or on-the-go. Anjali Gupta began her career in the corporate world, but found herself drawn into the culinary industry. She was drawn there as a result of leading a too-busy life and wanting delicious and healthy meals that were easy to prepare for her family. This eventually led to her creating Pinwheel Provisions. Now, listeners like yourself (and everyone you know) can eat hearty and nutritious meals while traversing your busy lives. Pinwheel Provisions offers flavor-packed ready to heat and eat, and build-your-own meals inside her BrynMawr-based business. And if you're not looking to cook at home, there's something for everyone--as Pinwheel Provisions also offers a select menu that you can grab-n-go at anytime!Friends are like family and so are our pets, so I was excited to have my friend, Jaimi Blackburn who is the Director of Public Relations for Fearless Restaurant Group on to announce White Dog Cafe's "Dining Out for the Dogs" event, happening next Tuesday July 16th at all White Dog Cafe locations! The event is BYOD (Bring Your Own Dog) but you'll need to make a Very Important Puppy reservation for your precious furry family member. There's a whole lot more to bark about--with puppy kissing booths, raffle prizes, specialty cocktails by Tito's, and more!!! The pooch-friendly fundraising event will benefit Alpha Bravo Canine, just be sure to listen closely for all the fun details to look forward to!One of your favorite guests is back, and with so much to share about! Founder, Author, Psychologist, and Organizer behind The Trauma Survivors Foundation, Hospital Heroes Food Drive, The Delaware Beer Festival, and more--Dennis Carradin joined me to talk about his latest book, his new beer collaboration-a Pilsner, and some of his upcoming events, including The Delaware Beer Festival (DBF). What's even better? When you stay tuned, you'll hear an exclusive discount code to attend one of the DBF's sessions--with on-air radio show hosts, live music from Country Music Stars, food, and over 200 beers to sample inside the Wilmington Blue Rocks Stadium! (37:34-47:24) Morning Thoughts – Anthony was thinking about what is down the line for the Eagles and how expectations can sometimes poison you. Choonis was a little, just a little, angry with the Phillies for having the head of the Mets' travel group throw out the first pitch on Saturday – IN HIS METS JERSEY !!! EWWW ! (58:50-1:05:50) Zach Berman, from the Athletic, joined the show to recap the Eagles preseason game in Cleveland and start to set the stage for the final Eagles preseason game. (1:08:43-1:28:07) The rest of the show was your calls and what makes you angry about our sports teams. (1:28:07-2:57:33)

011 – Growth Through PR SYNOPSIS While Ranalli and Volpe broadcast from White Dog Café in Wayne, Pa., they explain their unique podcast model that marries new and traditional media, and they dig into the success of Fearless Restaurants. So, there's a little something for every business enthusiast in this show. White Dog is all about being a good neighbor. Partnering with Alpha Bravo Canine, a local organization that raises and trains service dogs for veterans with PTSD, the three (soon to be four) White Dog Cafés raise funds via Dining Out with the Dogs. The goal is to raise at least $50,000 through the annual event to cover the cost of training one dog for one veteran. Hmmm… What if the annual event, in partnership with Philadelphia's WMMR, raised $50K at each White Dog Café location to cover the cost of raising and training three dogs? Consider that a challenge! Here's a challenge for Marketing RV enthusiasts: Alpha Bravo Canine's Jennifer Green is looking for warehouse space to train the dogs with veterans. It needs to be ground level to accommodate the veterans. It doesn't have to be an entire warehouse. What a great opportunity to be charitable and serve! Jaimi Blackburn is the Director of Public Relations for Fearless Restaurants. Wait until you hear some of the fantastic events she's cooked up to promote the chain and engage the community, including the Fearless Women Speakers Series. Ranalli and Volpe pack a lot of info in each 30-ish-minute episode of Marketing RV. Yes, even the useless info is fun! Check out the highlights if you're too cool to listen beginning to end, but don't miss what Gene has to say about Facebook changing its newsfeed to make it more one-on-one. Meet Fearless Restaurant's Director of Public Relations, Jaimi Blackburn. 10:25 White Dog Café was farm-to-table decades before farm-to-table was a thing. 12:45 Dana Lynne's left eyebrow goes up when she likes the food… she can't fake it. 13:50 Jaimi reveals what she believes is the most amazing treat at White Dog Café. 16:00 White Dog Café is proud to support Alpha Bravo Canine. 20:20 Real estate space wanted!
