DownloadWelcome to Episode 277 of LOTC. This week it's all about the flesh eaters!! That's right, Cannibals galore. We are joined by special guest Gary Hill from Cinema Beef Podcast. Gary came up with this weeks theme and we were very excited to sink our teeth into this tasty meal. With four feature reviews as well as several recommendations from YOU the listeners, we are confident we have broight some good films to the table. Now when it comes to the subject of Cannibals it does come with disclaimers, some of the films talked about have animal deaths in them. We do not promote nor like animal cruelty of any kind, however some of the films that are talked about we do recommend viewing but with the understanding that some of the material is controversial. So we hope you will sit back, get your beverages and snacks of choice and take a journey with us through Land Of The Creeps!Movie ReviewsCannibals 1980Dave: 6.5Greg: 7Gary : 7Parents 1989Gary: 8Dave: 8.5Bill : 8Greg : 8Dumplings 2004Bill : 8.5Dave : 9Gary : 9Greg : 8.5Mountain Of The Cannibal God 1978Greg : 8Dave : 7.5Bill : 7.5Gary : 7HELP KEEP HORROR ALIVE!!Gary Hill LinksPodcast'sFacebookLOTC Links :Land Of The Creeps InstagramGregaMortisFacebookTwitterLand Of The Creeps Group PageLand Of The Creeps Fan PageJay Of The Dead's New Horror Movie PodcastYoutubeInstagramEmailLetterboxdHaddonfield HatchetTwitterLand Of The Creeps TwitterDr. ShockDVD Infatuation TwitterDVD Infatuation WebsiteFacebookHorror Movie PodcastJay Of The Dead's New Horror Movies PodcastYouTube ChannelLetterboxdDVD Infatuation PodcastThe Illustrated Fan PodcastBill Van Veghel LinkFacebookLetterboxdPhantom Galaxy PodcastTwisted Temptress LinkLetterboxdLOTC Hotline Number1-804-569-56821-804-569-LOTCLOTC Intro is provided by Andy Ussery, Below are links to his social mediaEmail:FacebookTwitterOutro music provided by Greg Whitaker Below is Greg's Twitter accountTwitterFacebook

Then, Pam Grier and Margaret Markov make a run from their abusive and very hot prison digs to plot against a slimy pimp/drug kingpin and possibly start a revolution. We get two days in the hotbox with our review of Black Mama, White Mama from 1973. The Beefers are back and are gonna make a withdrawal from the bank of paranoia and deception with these two features. Iris and Gary are joined by Mike White of The Projection Booth to discuss two films about finding large sums of dirty money and the consequences of taking it. In A Simple Plan, two brothers and their buddy find a duffle bag full of loot whilst on a hunt. Gary and Iris are traveling on this one. We have been vaxxed but we are feeling slightly aglow. Could it be radiation? We are back to discuss two films where radiation makes people insanely violent. When a scientist’s plane lands, the people inside start a flurry of violence that spreads all over the city and all places in between in Umberto Lenzi’s Nightmare City. Then, a chemical spill causes the inhabitants of an agricultural research lab to become infused with blisters and violent tendencies in Warning Sign.

Bored on a Friday night? Looking for somewhere to have some fun? Why not hang with the Beef gang with two jams where young people play where they shouldn't be playing. Because you know. Zombies. When a group of hippies decide to go play with a resurrection spell that they think is a joke, they bring forth the actual undead in Bob Clark's Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things. Then, punks playing in a cemetery run afoul of zombies and a kick ass soundtrack in Dan O' Bannon's 1985 classic The Return Of The Living Dead.
