Sarah and David are joined by Notre Dame law professor Derek Muller, who teaches “Presidential Nominations in a Time of Uncertainty,” to discuss the legality of swapping out (presumptive) party nominees, the potential consequences of doing so, and the complexity of state election laws at-large. The Agenda: —Can Kamala Harris inherit Joe Biden's PAC money? —Will Republicans successfully keep Kamala off the ballot? —What's up with Ohio? —Could Donald Trump replace J.D. Vance? —What does “natural-born citizen” mean? —Should political parties be state associations for primaries? —Should faithless electors be bound? —Campaign finance: restrictions, or no restrictions? Show Notes: —LaRouche v. FEC —Charles Spies' “Biden Has 100 Million Reasons to Stay In” —Chiafolo et al. v. Ganz schön nah an der eigenen Wirklichkeit also. Hoo hoo! Seth and Marc read through the most boring and useless story possibly ever told; Take The Money and Run by Steve Miller Band. Though they can't deny how catchy the song is, the lyrics tell a tale that, in the end, is insane and was over before it began.

Today on the Rarified Heir Podcast, we speak to Larry Strauss, son of actress Charlotte Rae. To say we were more than a little surprised at how many of you connected to this episode with all of you comments, likes and metrics, is an understatement. You really took a liking to this one and why not? Larry was incredibly open about how both his mother and Josh's mother both shared the stage in the Broadway musical Li'l Abner, about an indiscrete moment between Cloris Leachman and Martin Balsam, how his mother turned a co-starring role on Diff'rent Strokes into a starring role on The Facts of Life and much more. We also spoke to Larry about his books, the more recent biography of his mother The Facts of My Life as well as Lightman a book of fiction about two characters awash in catastrophe and possible redemption in 1973 New York City. What's more we delved into his teaching students in the LAUSD system in Los Angeles and how rewarding it is for him in an often difficult environment. We also learn about Larry's father John Strauss who was a composer & editor whose credits run the gamut from The Phil Silvers Show, Amadeus, Take The Money and Run and so much more. This episode has a it all, some laughs, some heartache and some great storytelling. But it's the story about Larry's older brother Andrew that took place each Christmas season that still has us thinking about it today. Another child of a celebrity interviewed by the child of a celebrity. Everyone has a story.

Take the Money and Run, hirtu peningana og forðaðu þér, er heiti á listaverki sem danski myndlistamaðurinn Jens Haaning gerði fyrir Kunsten Museum of Modern Art í Álaborg. Af þessu tilefni lauk Heimsglugganum með lagi Steve Miller Band, Take the Money and Run.

In this episode, we discuss the importance of connecting to who we truly are, on our journey. There is so much to us than what we can see, so it is important to take that time for reflection, understanding and learning of who we are and surrounding and offering that same love and support for ourselves to those closest to us.
We have to apologize for the long break we took between episodes. Although it might have seemed that we decided to take the money and run, the truth is we just had quite a bit of a love hangover after season 1.
