Night Flier is tucked into a collection of short stories from Stephen King in a book titled Nightmares & Dreamscapes. This film took those 30 (or so) pages and delivered an atmospheric film that is stuffed with ambiance and offers a unique spin on the vampire genre. The film asks us to imagine a world in which a vampire flies a private plane from airstrip to airstrip chalking up victims along the way. Hot on his trail is Richard Dees an unscrupulous reporter for the Inside View who lusts for the story as much as the vampire lusts for blood. How will their eventual showdown conclude?LinksSupport Our Work - https://lsgmedia.net/joinDiscord - https://discord.com/invite/8FmrT9DrvuAcknowledgementsFloyd Frye (Intro/Outro Voice): https://www.tiktok.com/@floydfrye George C Music (Music): https://www.youtube.com/@GeorgeCMusicDisclaimer: This episode features impressions and parodies of celebrities and characters for entertainment purposes only. What makes The War on Drugs sound so familiar, yet so completely their own? Drawing on the widescreen sweep of classic American rock, Adam Granduciel and his band transform guitars, synthesisers and repetition into something hazy, hypnotic and strangely timeless. We explore the music, influences and atmosphere of The War on Drugs — and ask how heartland rock became a dreamscape. In this episode I am in discussion with Dr. Andrew Webber.https://www.facebook.com/share/1F15mx4ea3/https://buymeacoffee.com/lownoiseWhy buy me a coffee?Low Noise is proudly ad-free. In Part 1, Logan discusses the evolution of the dreamscape and how dreams are being engineered and steered by external forces. Logan discusses how dreams that have a consistent narrative, often involving AI influence and testing scenarios.he uncovered a hierarchy involving reptilians and AI, suggesting that AI is an interdimensional entity using technology as its vehicle. He also connects this to the concept of Archons and the control system. The conversation then shifts to a detailed account of a milab-related dream where Logan was part of a group targeted by military abductions, and he describes being injected and targeted, as well as the dynamics within his milab group. In Part 2, Logan recounts a recent dream where he found himself in an alternate reality working at a facility that was expanding its operations. He describes the facility’s focus on research and development, particularly portal technology, and how they were using handheld devices to open portals for teleportation. Logan explains that the technology was experimental but had the potential to be scaled up. He also discusses the presence of strange creatures coming through portals from other realities and the military’s attempts to contain them. The conversation touches on the concept of quantum entanglement with his counterpart in that reality and the possibility of technology transfer between realities. James and Logan also explore the idea that these dreams may be more than just dreams, possibly representing actual experiences in alternate timelines. Nightmares and Dreamscapes (2006) Episode 1: Battleground

In this episode Josh digs deep into his bag of flicks and chooses the 1984 Sci-Fi Horror Mind Crime filled "DreamScape". One of Josh's favorite nostalgia jams, this star studded adventure is often remembered because of its A Nightmare on Elm Street vibes which may or may not have been copied straight from Wes Craven's original script for his wild dream demon movie that dropped the same year. If you have not seen it and love old 80's weirdo horror/adventure movies you should check this one out if only to see the similarities to Fred Krueger's debut. Plus Dennis Quaid is a smug prick as always. Sweet Dreams!

Few artists have contributed to electronic music from as many different perspectives as Ron Boots. Best known as a synthesist and composer, he has also played a pivotal role in the genre through Groove Unlimited, the E-Live and E-Day festivals, and his long-running Dreamscape radio show, creating opportunities for both established artists and emerging talent.

I have been so inspired to discover the brilliant British-American violinist Tamsin Waley-Cohen's wonderful discography and I so enjoyed this opportunity to talk to her about her creative life. She spoke to me about the debut of her sister's violin concerto and you'll hear about Freya Waley-Cohen's earlier work Permutations. Tamsin has performed and recorded extensively with the great pianist and composer Huw Watkins and you'll also be hearing short excerpts from their album “Reflection” including two works written for Tamsin: Huw's Violin Sonata and the late Oliver Knussen's Reflection. She opened up about postpartum anxiety, depression, and also the creativity parenting requires, and connected to that, her upcoming album with Cordelia Williams “Dreamscapes and Lullabies”. Tamsin is Artistic Director of the Two Moors Festival in the U.K. and she shared her thoughtful curation of their upcoming October programming. We also talked about the satisfaction and intensity of touring and her wholistic approach to playing the violin. Finally, Tamsin shared some powerful musical memories with some of her great mentors. A Walk in the Park by William BundyThere is a park at the edge of a sleeping city. A man walks through it at night — tall, cloaked, unhurried — as if he has walked this way before, many times, across many years. A boy watches from a window. Dreams come. And something waits outside in the moonlight, patient as stone, returning with every full moon whether it is wanted or not.William Bundy's *A Walk in the Park* is a story about inheritance — the kind you don't choose.---*A Walk in the Park* is published on William Bundy's Substack at redsaidwrites.substack.com, where you'll find more of his writing in the same vein.---William Bundy is a UK-based writer of dark and supernatural fiction whose work spans short stories, essays, and film. Howdy guys! This episode was originally supposed to be about “betrayal trauma” but I got derailed by some very cool research and just had to discuss my THEORY on what mirror neurons and theory of mind (ToM) are for when it comes to sleep and wellness. I will absolutely be covering betrayal trauma next week so stay tuned, also I just finished the book on the neural mechanisms of reading and dyslexia so the episode two weeks from now will be jam packed with information on how to accommodate dyslexic readers and hopefully that'll be helpful on y'alls reading and learning journey!  Thank you so much for joining me on this journey - I do apologize if it wasn't easy to follow, I truly didn't plan this one out so I will use more accessible language in the following episodes.  I really did enjoy making this episode though, sharing information gives me such joy and I'm wishing everyone a happy National Autism Acceptance Month! Horror author Nat Cassidy (When the Wolf Comes Home) has a new book of short stories coming out called I Know A Place: Rest Stop and Other Dark Detours so it was only natural that we brought him back on the show to talk about one of King's most beloved short story collections: Nightmares and Dreamscapes. This is one of King's doorstoppers, so me, Breznican, and Nat all pick our three favorite stories and see what overlaps and what doesn't. Come of the talk of vampire urine, stay for the insightful chatter about how authors curate the pacing of short story collections.Nat's new book, I Know A Place, is available for pre-order now and hits shelves May 5th.
