Admittedly, I was not a big Mighty Morphin Power Rangers fan growing up. I didn't really get into the Power Rangers until much later as an adult. I was surprised to find out just how much back story and character development they got into with their comics. It is much more than just a kids TV show.  Bruce Nachsin is an actor/writer/producer living in Los Angeles who fled from the weather of the East Coast and the spectre of a full time IT job to try and make a creative life work on the West Coast. His first attempt to try and understand how the entertainment industry work was to make a 10 episode sitcom called Under the Doghouse and then most recently a superhero comedy short called Dark Specter. Hes is also a member of Fred Willard's sketch comedy team The MoHos and my own improv/performance group called Bizarre Love Triangle.
