Americans who know Cuba best—those who fled the Communist-ruled island and their descendants—loathe the country's Communist regime, in power since Fidel Castro overthrew an American-backed strongman in 1959. Thanks to Cold War geopolitics and the political influence of those Cuban-American communities (especially those around Miami, home city of Secretary of State Marco Rubio), the United States has maintained strict restrictions on trade and travel to the island, largely on a bipartisan basis. But left-of-center activists often operate as if laws they don't like don't apply to them, and that any infractions will be dismissed with a wink and a nod by their “moderate” allies. And with an aggressive right-of-center government in power, that is increasingly a bad bet, as a number of radical-left activists including podcaster Hasan Piker and CodePink leader Medea Benjamin have reportedly been subpoenaed for information about their participation in the “Nuestra America Convoy” supporting the Communist regime. How much trouble are these leftist agitators potentially in? What are they doing, and who's funding it? Stu Smith of the Manhattan Institute joins us to discuss.Feds subpoena Hasan Piker, Medea Benjamin over Cuba tripsHasan PikerCode Pink (CODEPINK)Democratic Socialists of America (DSA)The Cuban regime's American sympathizersStu Smith

Join Here: https://ow.ly/msoH50WCu0KAnalytic Dreamz breaks down Drake's latest high-concept artistic moves in this segment of Notorious Mass Effect. The episode dives deep into the 9-foot Sade Tribute sculpture commissioned by Drake and created by artist Rebecca Maria. Standing at nine feet tall and handmade over six months using five different types of clay, this ambitious piece pays homage to the Love Deluxe album cover and represents one of Maria's largest custom works for Drake to date. Analytic Dreamz also examines the ongoing Iceman album rollout, Drake's ninth studio album. The campaign features an innovative ice block reveal in Toronto with the release date carved inside, set to emerge only as the ice melts, along with frozen installations, livestream series titled Iceman Episodes, and high-impact activations including a pyrotechnic shoot that drew public attention. With confirmed tracks such as “What Did I Miss?”, “Which One?” featuring Central Cee, “SOMEBODY LOVES ME PT. 2”, and “Dog House” featuring Yeat and Julia Wolf, Analytic Dreamz analyzes the question-themed song titles, the post-Kendrick narrative expectations, and the strategic “Iceman” branding built around emotional control and calculated imagery. From the structural challenges of the massive Sade sculpture to the environmental countdown mechanic driving massive fan engagement, this segment delivers a detailed breakdown of Drake's multi-layered marketing strategy and what it signals for the anticipated 2026 release.Privacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Weekend weather forecast for the Demon Wastes: Look for scattered sword-showers late morning through midafternoon Saturday, which should clear up just in time for the Parade of the Stricken. It's a story-driven thrash metal holodeck whose light structure paves the way for incredible setpiece battles that rock as hard as you and your GM can make them.• Professor Phelyx's Tarot (24:43)I talk to Denver scholar, magician, and man-about-town Professor Phelyx. I found out he's 500 hours into the creation of his own tarot deck. Meet Phelyx and get a cool history lesson about tarot's roots as a storytelling game.• Dwelling Solo Journaling RPG (45:46)My work continues in the pages of Dwelling, a solo RPG for ghosts. We're at the midpoint of the book, where the narrator endures a queasy vision in the unnatural red light cast by the basement.Track of the Week (52:22)I'm gonna zoom in on Keith Murray's amazing lead-off of the “I Shot Ya” track, helmed by LL Cool J and also featuring Prodigy, Fat Joe, and Foxy Brown. Send us Fan MailThree IPAs, one variety pack, and zero patience for fake tasting-note nonsense. We crack open BrewDog Hop Fiction, BrewDog American IPA, and Hazy Jane Double Hazy and talk like real drinkers: how much grapefruit shows up, where the bitterness hits, what changes as the beer warms, and which one is actually “crushable” enough to buy again. If you love IPAs but hate when they taste like straight-up citrus peel, our ranking is built for you. Things get sideways fast when we start comparing everything to Wingman and Elvis Juice, then stumble into BrewDog's DogHouse hotel near Columbus. Yes, the one with shower beers and in-room taps. We also swap real-life chaos stories, including getting knocked out by a rough sick week, battling yard drainage after heavy rain, and that moment when tornado weather makes you wonder where you'd even hide if you don't have a basement. Then we pivot to food because beer deserves backup. Ricky walks through his “cowboy sushi” Traeger cook: a bacon weave wrapped around a meatloaf-style filling with cream cheese and smoked pepper gouda, finished with a high-heat crisp and a glaze that locks everything in. We close out with the last beer scores, a quick run through our Bad Choices card game, and the usual unfiltered laughs. Drake doesn't appear physically but makes an indirect impact via a phone call scene at the end, adding a symbolic co-sign layer given Yeat's prior feature on Drake's "Dog House" from Iceman.Thematically, "Made It On Our Own" celebrates independent success, underground-to-mainstream breakthroughs, and defying industry norms—aligning both artists as boundary-pushing alt-rap forces. Yeat has teased ADL as boundary-shattering, dangerous-life inspired, and sonically transformative. EsDeeKid, fresh off his October 2025 debut album Rebel (which charted on Billboard 200) and a December 2025 "4 Raws" remix with Timothée Chalamet, brings UK flair and BRIT Breakthrough Artist nomination buzz. The release generated massive streams—1.5 million first-day on Spotify, Yeat's career-high for a single and the week's top hip-hop debut. Analytic Dreamz dives into the transatlantic chemistry, Drake connection symbolism, visual flexes, career momentum, and what this means for Yeat's evolving sound and EsDeeKid's global push.Tune in for the full breakdown on Analytic Dreamz—raw rap culture analysis.Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/analytic-dreamz-notorious-mass-effect/exclusive-contentPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Join Here: https://ow.ly/msoH50WCu0KThe latest segment of Notorious Mass Effect hosted by Analytic Dreamz examines Drake's latest Instagram Story teaser for his upcoming ninth studio album Iceman (stylized ICEMAN), signaling heightened anticipation for the 2026 release.Analytic Dreamz breaks down the recent post: the all-caps phrase “MAKE THEM CRY” paired with “ICEMAN 2026,” set against blue-toned ice imagery and a cold, minimalist aesthetic. This cryptic update reinforces the project's icy/frozen branding, building on serialized snippets, mysterious captions, and minimal direct communication that have fueled intrigue since mid-2024.The album era includes previously dropped singles like “Which One” (feat. Central Cee) and “Dog House” (with Yeat & Julia Wolf), tying into themes of emotional depth, competition, and high-stakes energy. Drake confirmed the 2026 timeline via Instagram, shifting from earlier speculation and aligning with his restrained rollout strategy—subtle hints over heavy promotion—to maximize fan speculation and cultural buzz.As one of hip-hop's most anticipated projects post his recent catalog and public narratives, Iceman promises to deliver Drake's signature introspection, versatile production, and chart dominance. With no official tracklist, features, or exact date yet, the teaser keeps momentum surging across social platforms.Analytic Dreamz delivers an unbiased analysis of the branding evolution, rollout tactics, and what “MAKE THEM CRY” could imply for the project's tone—emotional vulnerability, lyrical aggression, or both. Tune in for the full breakdown on Drake's next era and its potential impact on 2026 hip-hop.Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/analytic-dreamz-notorious-mass-effect/exclusive-contentPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
