Spider-Noir may be one of the strangest Spider-Man adaptations ever made... and somehow, it works. Going into Spider-Noir, our expectations were fairly modest. A noir detective series starring a version of Spider-Man sounded interesting on paper, but we weren't sure how successfully the show would balance classic superhero action with old-school detective storytelling. After finishing the series, we were pleasantly surprised by just how much we enjoyed it. In una realtà alternativa della New York anni 30, il detective privato (e provato) Ben Reilly ha smesso i panni del vigilante Spider Noir, dopo la tragica perdita della sua amata. Ma lo spadroneggiare del gangster Silvermane in città e l'apparizione di persone dotate di superpoteri, lo faranno tornare a indossare il costume del Ragno Nero.Una serie che potete trovare su Prime Video e verso la quale non condivido affatto gli entusiastici pareri della rete. E' certamente gradevole e la parte noir e investigativa è di molto superiore a quella supereroistica, anche se l'idea dei superpoteri come virus non è male.Ma Cage, che comunque ce la mette tutta, è anzianotto e si vede...fa un pochino tristezza nei panni di Spider Noir. La fotografia, al solito, è un po' troppo patinata e la colonna sonora abbastanza anonima, per essere ricordata fuori contesto, inoltre alcuni personaggi sono troppo tirati via.Per fortuna, c'è un Brendan Glesson cattivo di lusso.Nel complesso, gradevole e si guarda senza annoiarsi, ma non è certo la migliore che abbia visto e non è che attenda così tanto la stagione 2, se mai si farà. It gets better! The back half of the first (only?) season of Amazon's Spider-Noir is a marked improvement over the first half, which is a great relief to us.
