Nya avsnitt varje måndag.//Per & FreddiePODDARE: Per Johansson & Fredrik MobergPRODUCENT: Fredrik MobergDISTRIBUTION: AcastKONTAKT & TIPS: hemnetknarkarna@hotmail.comINSTAGRAM: @hemnetknarkarnaSAMARBETEN: hemnetknarkarna@hotmail.com

What would it mean to disentangle humanities scholarship from combative, extractive, and colonial ways of knowing and writing? This is the question that animates Quiet Methodologies: Humility in the Humanities (U Minnesota Press), the latest book by literary scholar and poet Suzanne Bost. Quiet Methodologies isn't a traditional work of literary scholarship. Instead, the book reaches toward alternative ways of thinking with and teaching literature, grounded in speculation and conversation. It models a quiet kind of humanities work, committed not to asserting answers but to asking questions, not to claiming mastery but to embracing uncertainty. For all its quietness, then, Quiet Methodologies is a bold and challenging work. Speaking to a moment of crisis within and beyond the academy, its provocations and explorations will be of interest to scholars and students working across humanities disciplines. In conversation with Alix Beeston, Bost shares about the literary archives and scholarly works that helped her to unlearn scholarly conventions. She sets out her vision for reimagining humanities labor in terms of ethical responsibility, receptiveness, care—and even, perhaps, love. Learn more about your ad choices. Had an AHA or Insight? Share it:Does it always have to come to a full rock-bottom burnout before our purpose can emerge? This episode matters now because a new generation of founders is pushing back against hustle culture while still wanting meaningful work, financial success, and a life they actually enjoy. If you feel the pull between your ambition and the reality of wanting a balanced life, this conversation offers insight into how purpose is found and how you might side step the mess all together. In this episode, I speak with Dylan Clayton Bost. He had it all:The business is established. The lifestyle reflects achievement. The pace keeps accelerating.Dylan built a successful agency and lived the version of success he believed he was working toward. He did what he was told. Prove your value with work. Over time, the pressure and responsibility required to sustain it led to burnout and disorientation, forcing him to burn it all down and redesign what kind of future he wanted to live. For himself and his family. Balance, quality of life, the whole nine yards. This conversation follows Dylan through that turning point and into the work of finding purpose. He shares how questioning his assumptions about success, work, and identity opened space to design a life and business that felt aligned rather than performative. Purpose emerged through experience, through boundaries, and through deciding what was no longer worth sacrificing. We talk about whether burnout has to be the doorway. Whether purpose can be found earlier. And what founders can notice before exhaustion becomes the signal. Dylan reflects on what he wishes he had seen sooner and how stepping away from hustle-driven definitions of success changed how he built, chose, and lived. If this conversation resonates, share it with someone who's questioning the pace they're running at—or let me know what it stirred for you.
Bost v. Illinois State Board of Elections involved whether a candidate for federal office has standing to challenge an Illinois law that requires election officials to count mail-in ballots postmarked or certified as of election day and received within two weeks of the election.Following the 2024 election cycle, Congressman Michael Bost and two other political candidates sued the state board of elections, contending that counting ballots after election day violated federal law (principally 2 U. S. C. §7 and 3 U. S. C. §1, which set election day as the Tuesday following the first Monday in November). The district court dismissed the case, deciding the candidates lacked standing and the Seventh Circuit affirmed. Now the Supreme Court has reversed that ruling, holding in a decision by Chief Justice Roberts that Bost had standing to challenge the rules dealing with the counting of votes in his election.Join us for a Courthouse Steps program where we break down and analyze the decision and what its impacts may be.Featuring:Jason Torchinsky, Partner, Holtzman Vogel Baran Torchinsky & Josefiak PLLC(Moderator) Hans A. Dr. Jerome Corsi breaks down a major U.S. Supreme Court ruling that could permanently change how election integrity cases are litigated across the country.Dr. Corsi analyzes the Court's decision in Bost v. Illinois State Board of Elections, which affirms that candidates for federal office now have legal standing to challenge unlawful election rules before an election takes place. This ruling overturns years of precedent that blocked election lawsuits by claiming no one had standing to sue — a legal barrier that shut down nearly all election challenges after 2020. At the center of the case is Illinois' rule allowing mail-in ballots to be counted for up to two weeks after Election Day. Dr. Corsi explains why such extensions create systemic vulnerabilities and open the door to fraud, manipulation, and post-election ballot manufacturing. He then connects this ruling to broader evidence of voter-roll corruption, algorithmic manipulation, illegal immigrant registrations, and mail-in ballot abuse across multiple states — arguing that this decision finally allows courts to hear cases that were previously dismissed without review.

In this video, we break down the major January 14, 2026 Supreme Court decision in Bost v. Illinois State Board of Elections — a 7-2 victory for election integrity and candidate rights. The Court ruled that political candidates, like Illinois Republican Congressman Mike Bost, have Article III standing to challenge state election laws governing how votes are counted in their races — even before proving specific harm to their electoral chances. This reverses lower court dismissals and remands the case for further proceedings. At issue: Illinois law allows mail-in ballots postmarked by Election Day to be received and counted up to two weeks later. Bost argued this violates federal statutes setting a uniform Election Day for federal elections.Chief Justice Roberts, writing for the majority, emphasized candidates' concrete interest in the integrity of vote-counting rules and the democratic process. The decision could open the door to more pre-election challenges nationwide, helping resolve disputes before votes are tallied and reducing post-election chaos.A big step forward for transparency and accountability in our elections. What do you think — will this lead to fairer processes or more litigation? We didn't get the tariffs decision this week, but we discuss two of the opinions we did get -- Bost v. Illinois Board of Elections, a decision about standing and election law, and Case v. Montana, a rare Fourth Amendment case -- in a remarkably efficient episode (after a brief detour into Grok's jurisprudence and the announcement of a major gift to the Constitutional Law Institute).
Congressman Mike Bost joins to discuss the Supreme Court's recent decision affirming his standing in a case challenging Illinois' 14-day post-election ballot counting. Bost explains how this ruling opens the door for candidates nationwide to challenge similar laws and the financial and procedural implications of monitoring extended vote counts. He recounts the court proceedings, interactions with justices, and highlights the broader impact on election integrity and voter standing in legal challenges. #MikeBost #SupremeCourt #ElectionIntegrity #Illinois #BallotCounting #VotingLaw #USPolitics
Dr. Jerome Corsi breaks down a landmark U.S. Supreme Court decision that could fundamentally change how election integrity cases are handled nationwide.Dr. Corsi analyzes the 7–2 ruling in Bost v. Illinois State Board of Elections, in which the Supreme Court affirmed that candidates for federal office have standing to challenge unlawful election procedures before an election is decided. This ruling directly reverses years of lower-court precedent that blocked election challenges by claiming no one had legal standing. At the center of the case is the issue of mail-in ballots counted after Election Day, a practice Dr. Corsi argues creates systemic vulnerabilities that undermine public trust. The Court ruled that candidates are harmed not only by losing elections, but by unfair electoral processes themselves, affirming that fair procedures are essential to constitutional governance.

The formal indictment states that Lin and his accomplices allegedly facilitated the transfer of tens of millions of dollars obtained from the sale of fentanyl, cocaine, and methamphetamine in the United States back to Mexico, through an opaque financial chain involving cash purchases of electronic goods and shipments to Asian countries. According to the case filed in federal court in Cincinnati, between 2022 and 2024, Mexican drug-trafficking groups hired this organization to handle the cash generated from drug sales within U.S. territory. The procedure described includes handing over large amounts of physical cash to third parties, who used the funds to buy electronic products. Once the receipt of these goods was confirmed, payment was sent to Mexico through mirror transactions, after deducting a commission. Partial records indicate that at least $27.4 million in cash was moved through this network. The indictment, which includes charges of conspiracy to launder money and concealment of funds, indicates that the alleged operator could face up to 20 years in prison if convicted by a federal court. The whole starter kit. The guy, Marton Benedek, was sitting inside EU institutions while sketching out a roadmap for protests, messaging, fundraising, even something that reads a lot like a shadow government. He talks openly about building a permanent coordination hub to challenge Orban's rule. This was an EU migration and security official, with deep access and zero plausible deniability, not just some street activist. The early effort flopped. The party he helped build face-planted electorally. But the playbook didn't disappear. It just waited. Fast forward and suddenly a brand-new figure, Peter Magyar, drops out of nowhere, gets wall-to-wall Western media love, runs a campaign with serious money and polish, keeps his ideology vague, stays aggressively pro-EU, and rockets to the top of the polls. No clear funding trail. No real policy spine. But momentum. The uncomfortable part for Brussels isn't whether Orban is good or bad. It's that this confirms what his supporters have said for years: The EU doesn't just pressure governments. It actively works around them when they won't comply. Rule of law language on the surface. Regime-management instincts underneath. If this were Russia doing it, headlines would be screaming “foreign interference.” When it's Brussels, it's called cooperation. https://twitter.com/nypost/status/2011184281989595612?s=20 ‘Going to Be a Big Problem for Him’: Trump Smacks Down Greenland PM After He Says He ‘Chooses Denmark' President Trump isn’t playing around when it comes to the United States taking control of Greenland, and he just sent a warning shot to the island’s prime minister, Jens-Frederik Nielsen, that Nielsen’s continued resistance is “going to be a big problem for him.” Greenland’s PM and other regional authorities downplay the possibility of a hostile takeover of the island by Russia or China, Denmark’s Danish Defense Intelligence Service (DDIS) recently released a pointed assessment of Russian and Chinese military ambitions for Greenland and the Arctic. A few days in, Iran shut down the Internet in the entire country. For the first time since 2019, a nationwide blackout was imposed, disrupting phone networks and landline telephones. Starlink became the sole web outlet for protesters to get informed, communicate, and share the images of the momentous developments with the world. It didn't take long for the brutal Iranian regime to crack down on Starlink terminals, arrest ‘terrorist' users, and deploy military-grade jammers to impede the functioning of the service. Now, reports say SpaceX engineers are hard at work to bypass the jamming and give protesters a voice, again. The move comes despite pressure from US President Donald Trump and the Ukrainian leader earlier saying he was open to holding an election. One of the draft laws submitted to the Verhovna Rada on Monday would extend martial law from February 3 to early May, which would effectively bar national elections for this period. . CBS News reported: Source: thegatewaypundit.com https://twitter.com/travelingflying/status/2011233048193613927?s=20 https://twitter.com/AlBuffalo2nite/status/2011094391075602444?s=20 accuracy. That is demographic manipulation. When law enforcement records misclassify race and suppress immigration status, the downstream effect is predictable. Crime statistics are distorted. Public understanding is corrupted. Accountability disappears. Police departments know exactly why this is done. Federal crime data is aggregated by race. When offenders who are foreign nationals are reclassified into domestic racial categories, the real source patterns are buried. The public is then fed a sanitized dataset that supports preselected talking points. This is not about one case. It is about how the books are cooked so trends can never be honestly discussed. News outlets compound the deception. They repeat the arrest sheet verbatim, never asking why immigration status is missing, never questioning implausible physical descriptors, never pressing the department for clarification. The omission is the story, and they deliberately ignore it. That is not journalism. That is information control. If the individual were a citizen, the records would say so. If the individual were legally present, that status would be highlighted immediately. Silence only appears when the truth is politically inconvenient. That silence protects institutions, not victims. Two teenagers are dead, and the system's first instinct was not transparency, but insulation. This is exactly why public trust is collapsing. People are not stupid. They can see when reality does not match the paperwork. When law enforcement manipulates categories and media outlets run interference, the public correctly concludes that the truth is being managed rather than reported. The question is simple. If the data were honest, why hide it. If the classification were accurate, why does it defy common sense. If transparency mattered, why was immigration status erased. This is not incompetence. It is intent. https://twitter.com/TheStormRedux/status/2011214982881386564?s=20 Solomon & Emmer on his podcast today. Here is what Tom said, “Hey, everyone. Huge news. Judicial Watch lawsuits led to the cleanup of 4 million dirty names from the voting rolls in just the last two years or so. But there's more heavy lifting to be done for cleaner elections. That's why Judicial Watch just sued the state of Oregon to force it to finally clean up its voting rolls, which are a mess. Federal law requires states to take reasonable steps to clean up their voting rolls, and Oregon hasn't been doing that. In fact, our new lawsuit, Just Filed For and With the Constitution Party of Oregon and Oregon Voters, details how 29 of Oregon's 36 counties removed few or no registrations as required by federal election law. Oregon and 35 of its counties had overall registration rates exceeding 100%. Frankly, Oregon has the highest known inactive registration rate of any state in the nation. Dirty voting rolls can mean dirty elections. The Dems' entire platform revolves around election fraud and retaining/expanding their power. Hence why they don't want ICE/US MIL deporting illegals in their sanctuary cities, why they don't want voter ID, and why they want the border open. That's what all the fuss is about. It's because Trump is getting close to ending the Democrat Party as we know it. Without illegals voting in their districts, they face extinction. Not only will they no longer be able to win elections, but this election fraud scheme was nothing short of treasonous. They sold us out to foreigners while pocketing our money. They covertly enslaved us and enriched themselves off our labor, while we struggle to stay afloat. This is a serious situation. Congressman Mike Bost discussed the Minneapolis ICE incident, emphasizing the necessity of peaceful protest and criticizing politicians who shift blame onto law enforcement. He addressed concerns over Somali-run childcare fraud and the importance of oversight in government funding, citing COVID-era misuse as an example. #721 What if you could build a simple, high-demand business that prints predictable monthly revenue — while solving one of the biggest frustrations business owners have with their websites? In this episode, host Brien Gearin sits down with Dylan Bost, founder of Sunny HQ, to break down how to start a web hosting business built on recurring revenue. Dylan shares how he transitioned from running a multi-million-dollar branding agency into launching a “human-first” managed WordPress hosting company — after realizing he wanted a business that aligned better with his life, family, and long-term sustainability. They dive into what makes managed hosting valuable, how to differentiate from big-box providers with real human support, what tools you can leverage to start without huge upfront costs, and why culture and customer experience are key to scaling. Finally, Dylan explains how AI fits into the business as a productivity tool — not a replacement for human connection! What we discuss with Dylan: + Recurring revenue hosting model + From agency to hosting + Human-first WordPress support + Differentiating from big hosts + Speed, security, peace of mind + Starting without big upfront costs + Scaling with culture and systems + Disney-inspired customer experience + AI as a support tool, not a replacement Thank you, Dylan! In this powerful episode of Healthy Mind, Healthy Life, host Avik sits down with Dylan Bost, founder of SunnyHQ and a former creative agency owner who hit rock bottom after years of burnout and addiction. Dylan openly shares how an existential crisis (“What is this all for?”) led to the collapse of his multimillion-dollar agency, years of deep healing, and the birth of a radically aligned, human-first WordPress hosting company. This is a raw conversation about turning breakdown into breakthrough and building a business that honors life instead of sacrificing it. Key Takeaways: Burnout rarely announces itself — it's the slow erosion of joy, identity, and meaning while everything looks “successful” on the outside. The most dangerous question an entrepreneur can ignore: “What is this all for?” If left unanswered, it leads to emptiness even at the peak of achievement. Rock bottom can become the foundation: Dylan's collapse forced years of stillness, embodiment work, plant medicine journeys, and nervous-system repair — the true rebuilding started there. You are not your story, you are the storyteller. Letting go of past achievements and identities is scary but essential for real transformation. Simple daily embodiment starts with 5-minute meditation — not to empty the mind, but to become aware of thoughts and let them pass. Awareness is the most powerful “drug”: once you see a destructive habit (endless scrolling, overworking, numbing), it becomes nearly impossible to keep doing it unconsciously. Alignment in business means designing the company around your desired life, not the other way around. SunnyHQ was built on clarity, simplicity, and genuine human support — no bots, no ticket queues, no chaos. True customer service is human connection: fast fixes + warm empathy = customers who feel genuinely cared for (and team members who love their work). Ask for help early. Vulnerability is strength, not weakness. You are not the first entrepreneur to struggle — and you don't have to solve it alone. Rebuilding yourself is the ultimate business strategy.
