Joe Robson grew up on a cattle ranch east of Tulsa. After graduating from SMU, Joe came home to start his real estate career. In 1986, he formed the Robson Companies and began to develop part of the family ranch into the master-planned community of Forest Ridge.Joe promoted infrastructure improvements in the Tulsa metro area—roads, water, and sewer. Send us a textSeamus Skelly is a 2030 goalie who has been documenting his daily training journey for more than 3 months straight. In this episode we talk about how he got started in goal back in third grade, what helped him get over the fear of the ball, and how he manages the pressure that comes with the position. He shares lessons learned from his older brother who plays D3, from working with Adaptive Goaltending, and from posting his Day-by-Day training videos that have already caught the attention of college programs and pros online. We get into drills, protection, positive self talk, mental toughness, using tools like LaceUp, cross-training with soccer, favorite saves, favorite pros to watch, and advice he would give to brand new youth goalies. A really fun and insightful conversation with a young goalie who is putting the work in every single day.Support the show

Welcome to Paraween, presented by the ParaPods Network! This Halloween, Amanda's been host-snatched—spirited away to the And That's Why We Drink feed for some haunting hijinks. In her chair this week sits Jethro Gilligan Toth, co-host of Box of Oddities, joining Trevin for a truly bone-chilling petty crime deep dive. Together, they unravel the bizarre rise of the 12-foot Home Depot Skeleton — from its spooky origins and DIY folklore roots, to the crime wave of skeleton thefts that swept the suburbs. You'll hear about Skellynappers, HOA horror stories, out-of-season skeleton displays, and neighbors turned vigilantes. It's a tale of Halloween capitalism, petty vandalism, and the unbreakable spirit of spooky season. But between all the bones and bad behavior, Trevin and Jethro find something even stranger — friendship. From bragging about their wives to bonding over their shared fascination with death, the two discover they might just be soulmates from the same crypt. And stay tuned for a special treat: Trevin closes the episode with The Spirit Halloween Theme Song by comedian Nick Lutsko — because no Halloween story is complete without a musical séance.

What does it take to raise a football star while staying grounded in love, learning and loyalty? In this powerful and personal episode, I sit down with Marcia Lewis, proud mum and agent to Myles Lewis-Skelly—Arsenal and England's 18-year-old sensation and one of the most talked-about young players in football today. But this conversation isn't about hype. It's about humanity. Marcia shares the real journey behind the headlines—from getting her first agent call when Myles was just 11, to juggling grassroots joy with elite-level pressure. As the spotlight on Myles grew, so did Marcia's determination to understand the system—and protect her son within it. So, she studied football business. Became a licensed agent. And created No.1 Fan Club, the UK's first parent-led platform offering support, guidance, and community to parents navigating the intense world of youth football. We talk candidly about safeguarding wellbeing, making tough decisions, managing expectations, and the emotional rollercoaster of academy life. We also reflect on the good old days, like when Myles and my son Sam played together at Aldenham School—under the brilliant Mr Cornock. Whether you're a parent, coach, fan or just curious about the world behind the beautiful game, this is a story of fierce love, big dreams, and the power of staying grounded—no matter how high the stakes. And yes, I do ask Marcia what her proudest moment has been so far… but you'll have to listen to find out. www.no1fan.club

For this episode I'm joined by a man well known ex-loyalist paramilitary and one-time leader of the Lower Shankill Road's infamous UDA (Ulster Defence Association), Johnny Adair.Johnny speaks about his growing up in Belfast during some of it's most turbulent and violent times, his lifelong friend with UDA k*ller Sam McCrory and he came to join, and later lead the Lower Shankill Road's UDA C- Company. We discussed his days as an active paramilitary, his many near brushes with death and how he viewed his opposition, the Provisional IRA and the INLA/IPLO. I asked Johnny his thoughts on C-Company's victims and whether he has any regrets looking back. We spoke about the RUC's many attempts to both jail him, which they eventually would, and to recruit him as an informant. Johnny shares his surprising thoughts on the republican hunger strikers who died in 1981, whether he himself would have been willing to do the same if called upon and what life is like for him now, living away from the city that he once saw himself a defender of.PLEASE HELP OUT THE SHOW IF YOU CAN SPARE IT.. The sports network ESPN owes its existence to Tulsa's own George Conner. After graduating from the University of Tulsa with a marketing degree in 1964, George went to work for Skelly Oil in downtown Tulsa. When Getty Oil gained control of Skelly in 1974, George became a finance manager and was asked to study a proposed Connecticut-based Cable Television network committed to all-day, every-day sports programming. George approved the project and Getty Oil made an initial investment of $10 million which grew to $160 Million. ESPN went live on September 7, 1979. Co-founder Bill Rasmussen stated: “I still firmly believe that, without Conner as the bridge to Getty money, there would have been no ESPN.”Listen to George talk about the beginning of this new concept of a 24-hour sports network and his role in establishing ESPN on the podcast and oral history website VoicesOfOklahoma.

Hello Rank Squad! It's that time of the year where amidst all the trophies being handed out, thoughts turn to who are the frontrunners in the race for the biggest individual prize in the game - France Football's yearly Ballon d'Or. Last year the award came with a whole thunderstorm of controversy, with Real Madrid boycotting the ceremony after Rodri won the top prize over Vinicius Jr. They probably don't need to worry that much this year - we'd be surprised if there were any Los Blancos stars anywhere near the podium - but the absence of both Vini and Rodri from the frontrunners opens up some interesting discussions. We dive deep on where we think the current positionings are for the likes of PSG's Ousmane Dembele, Gigi Donnarumma and Achraf Hakimi, as well as Barcelona's Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, and Pedri - as well as the individual pace-setters like Mo Salah, Lautaro Martinez, Kylian Mbappé, and Harry Kane; before we also take a quick look at the Kopa Trophy candidates in Part Three. Before that, there's a return for Things We Love, where Dean discusses a big summer ahead for Arsenal in the transfer market, and Jack takes a quick look at a wonderful season at Balaidos for Celta Vigo, under the stewardship of Claudio Giraldez. It's Ranks! And remember, if you'd like more from the Rank Squad, including extra podcasts every Monday and Friday (including our weekly Postbox taking a look at the whole weekend of football) and access to our brilliant Discord community, then why not join us here on Patreon?
"Hot Takes" season four had to come to an end at some point, so Skelly and Shiro decided to let the mod team take the reins; and they flipped the entire format upside down, posing their own recommendations and takes and lobbing questions at the hosts for the three-hour run. A deviation from the show's typical fare, we got to get some phenomenal insight into the "Hot Takes" mod team's tastes and get the know the two show hosts and their backgrounds quite a bit better too! Six profoundly important scene builders and taste making titans gave us their valuable time, going beyond their duties as Discord server mods and basically running the show themselves instead of Skelly and Shiro being in charge, for once. There were so many memorable moments, from conversations about how to attract and retain female/femme and POC attendees at URL vaporwave show to thoughts about the longevity of artist Patreons and limited runs of exclusive fan club vinyl releases; and let's not forget Shiro getting raked over the coals for editing track metadata in the tracks he downloads, changing capitalization and tags without artists' knowledge or consent! Bad boy! Despite some audio woes, long monologues, and one weary, energy drink chugging co-host towards the end, the episode was noteworthy, well attended, and shined an important light on six incredibly important figures in the scene right now: Crystal Eternal, Luxury Elite, Luxury Noise, Minidisc.Wiki, Quiz, and Roge Corp. Make sure to block out some time for this one, because it is lengthy and brimming with rants, raves, and rarities! "Hot Takes" is a safe space for all opinions!
