Carter Verhaeghe notched a goal and an assist, Sam Reinhart found the back of the net, and Sergei Bobrovsky recorded 23 saves as the Panthers triumphed over the Edmonton Oilers 2-1 in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final at Amerant Bank Arena on Monday. The Panthers, who have been part of the NHL since the 1993-94 season, secured their first Stanley Cup championship after three previous unsuccessful attempts in this series. After taking a commanding 3-0 lead, they dropped the next three games and were on the brink of becoming the first team since 1942 to lose four consecutive potential clinching games in the Stanley Cup Final. Eric Duhatschek and Scott Burnside join the show today to talk about it all with Bob and John.
