Gio wonders where all the stories about Andy Reid maybe retiring come from. Andy Reid and the Chiefs have been dominant for years. Why stop now? We also talked about the Chiefs drafting Mahomes and then letting him sit behind Alex Smith. We also talked about music we played trying to get our young kids to fall asleep. A caller thinks Stugotz is the one that started the rumor of Andy Reid retiring. Boomer still thinks the NFL is going to go to an 18-game schedule and then the Super Bowl will be the Sunday before Presidents Day. Jerry returns for an update and starts with audio from Evan Roberts' Mets podcast. His guest was Adam Wainwright and Evan introduced him by asking, ‘can you go f*** yourself?' Evan is a shock jock. In the final segment of the hour, Karen Carson and the morning show at 102.7 call in with a Dua Lipa update. She is coming to NYC when we are in Vegas for Super Bowl week.
Hour 1 Somehow the Chiefs are still underdogs in the Super Bowl, which Gio thinks is going to fire up Patrick Mahomes even more. The Chiefs with Patrick Mahomes are the new Patriots with Tom Brady. The Chiefs radio announcer went nuts about people doubting the Chiefs and how you have to deal with the Chiefs. Boomer recalls when his love affair with Patrick Mahomes started. Jerry is here for his first update of the day, but first Boomer talks to Gio about who Dua Lipa is dating. He's an actor in a movie about rowing. The Knicks won their seventh straight, beating the Hornets. Doc Rivers lost in his first game coaching the Bucks. Andy Reid said he met Taylor Swift before Travis Kelce did. Dan Campbell talked about all the things they did wrong in their loss to the Niners. Chris Russo is sick of seeing Chiefs/Niners. Boomer told us about the ratings for Chiefs/Ravens and it had something like 56 million viewers. In the final segment of the hour, Gio had a problem with a left lane driver going slow on the LIE. Boomer said we all get a little crazy while driving on the LIE. It's also funny to see the same cars on the road at the same time on your way to work. Hour 2 Ochocinco told Shannon Sharpe that Beyonce would have caused just as large an uproar if she was dating Travis Kelce as Taylor Swift is. Shannon does not agree. Tough to compare because Taylor is at the height of her success and Beyonce's was a few years ago. When the camera was on her in this past game, she mouthed, ‘go away please'. Gio can't believe Boomer doesn't know who Scooter Braun is, even though he claims to be a huge Taylor Swift fan. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the audio of Ochocinco and Shannon Sharpe discussing Beyonce and Taylor Swift. Andy Reid talked about looking forward to using the Raiders facility in Vegas. Reid also talked about the injury status of Kadarius Toney. Tom Brady talked about Dan Campbell and how he must feel losing in the championship game. The Knicks smashed the Hornets last night 113-92. Jerry went around the NBA last night. In the final segment of the hour, Gio was looking for a golf partner for Friday in Vegas. Stephen Waldron at CBS changed his flight so he can play with Gio. Hour 3 Gio wonders where all the stories about Andy Reid maybe retiring come from. Andy Reid and the Chiefs have been dominant for years. Why stop now? We also talked about the Chiefs drafting Mahomes and then letting him sit behind Alex Smith. We also talked about music we played trying to get our young kids to fall asleep. In the final segment of the hour, Karen Carson and the morning show at 102.7 call in with a Dua Lipa update. She is coming to NYC when we are in Vegas for Super Bowl week. Hour 4 Evan Roberts is trying to get out of this beard bet by playing pickleball against Shaun Morash. Morash will probably throw the match so Evan wins and he can shave the beard he said he wouldn't shave until the Mets extended Pete Alonso. He is welching on a bet. Boomer wonders why Gio will play golf anywhere, but wouldn't play softball. Gio doesn't want to get hurt in the Summer running out a ground ball. Jerry returns for his final update of the morning and starts with Andy Reid saying he needs to make sure players stay away from the strip in Vegas. We talked about how great Brock Purdy has been the last two seasons. Jerry has audio of Shannon Sharpe and Ochocinco talking about the price of Viagra. The Knicks beat the Hornets in Charlotte, their seventh straight win. The Moment of The Day involves Dua Lipa's visit to the show, and it's not good news. In the final segment of the hour, Boomer has been studying Lamar Jackson's dropbacks in the championship game. Elon Musk's Neuralink went into the first human brain. You can also pay at Whole Foods by using your palm.
Hour 1 Last night the Cowboys/Seahawks game had a ton of offense and no points as the Cowboys won 41-35. But the story of the game was the amount of penalties called: 25 total called and 19 accepted for a total of 257 yards. The Niners go into Philadelphia this week in what is sure to be the game of the week. People will not believe in the Cowboys until they win playoff games. Jerry returns for an update but first Gio was in the city yesterday and saw Camila Cabello in a coffee shop. Nantz and Romo are off this week because they worked two games last weekend. Jerry thinks it's ‘soft' and thinks Tony Romo probably wanted the week off. Jerry has audio from last night's Cowboys win as Dak threw for 3 TDs. Mike McCarthy looks like a guy that would have GERD. Patrick Mahomes will play at Lambeau Field for the first time ever. Jerry finishes with energetic calls from the Devils and Islanders wins. In the final segment of the hour, Sports Illustrated named Deion Sanders their Sportsperson of The Year even though they are now 4-8. If not Deion, then who? Damar Hamlin maybe? Dak Prescott? Nikola Jokic? Hour 2 Aaron Rodgers said he understands the risk of coming back too early, but said it wouldn't be a problem because he would have time to rehab before next season. He also spent the entire day after being injured, crying. Gio said now there's no doubt he's coming back to play this s eason. The Jets only have a 0.9 % chance of making the playoffs. Rodgers was also answering phones in the Jets season tickets office this week. We also took calls on who should have been Sportsperson of The Year instead of Deion Sanders. Jerry returns for an update and starts with audio from last night's Cowboys win over the Seahawks. Dez Bryant is upset with Craig Carton after Craig said of Dak's girlfriend, he had to question if she's a ‘gold digger'. Tyreek Hill talked about his time in KC and said Mahomes was too close to Kelce but it sounds like he was sort of joking. In the final segment of the hour, when bacon is bad, it's really bad. Hour 3 Gio heard a story that Mark Gastineau threatened to beat up Brett Favre at an autograph signing for handing Michael Strahan the sack record. A caller said he has Gastineau's old Christmas tree. Gio said he bought a live tree and it cost him $300! Karen Carson and Johnny Mingione called in with an update on Dua Lipa coming on our show. Jerry returns for an update and starts with audio from last night's Cowboys win over the Seahawks. Dak Prescott talked about being blessed being the Cowboys QB. A goalie scored a goal for the Penguins last night. In the final segment of the hour, could Jim Harbaugh become available for an NFL team? Would he use the NFL as leverage to get another college coaching job? He is going to want total control of an NFL franchise. Maybe Chicago, where he played for the Bears? Gio thinks David Tepper of the Panthers will go nuts and offer Harbaugh a ton of money. Hour 4 We are all going to miss Tommy DeVito this week with the Giants on a bye. Instead we get Tim Boyle against the Falcons at MetLife where the Jets are underdogs. If the Jets win, will Brandon Tierney have another ‘unkillable' moment? Joe Flacco may end up starting for the Browns this Sunday. Gio has a Mike Tyson story that includes the one impression he does of him. Jerry returns for a brief update including the Moment of The Day which involves Gio's love for Dua Lipa. We are then joined by Jim Allen, Chairman of Hard Rock International. We talked about the potential casino near Citi Field. In the final segment of the show, our NFL picks and Yussef was back!

Karen Carson in the Morning's reaction to an Oscar snub. We have the full list for you of every important nominee into this years Oscars. Did your favorite make the list? Believe us when we say that they may not have! Some big names left out of categories this time around!
Karen has never been one to hold anything back! This morning on Karen Carson in the Morning, Karen played a bit done by Jimmy Fallon where he pronounced a word differently than you normally would. This brought up the subject of what word turns your stomach when you hear the way it is pronounced... We threw it to the listeners of the tri-state area and they gave some pretty funny input! Whether its "liberry," "rigutt," or "confirtable," check out the words that we HATE hearing pronounced the wrong way!
It's 2019 so we're not judging, but this morning on Karen Carson in the Morning, the topic came up regarding a gross or disgusting thing that your significant other does, that you simply just put up with.
He finally shaped up! John Travolta traded in the hair for a razor and we could not be happier! Not only does he have a very "Dwayne Johnson" look going for himself, but we can also all agree that the hair piece....just wasn't working for him anymore. This led Karen Carson in the Morning to the discussion of whether or not men look hotter with our without hair on their head. Anthony tells Karen that he "doesn't find men sexy," so he brought in one of his relatives from the hills of Sicily to help him out with this! Here's a hint: If you love grandparents, you'll fall for his guest right away. Check out this hilarious take on men's hair from earlier today on Karen Carson in the Morning!
The winner for "Actress in a Drama Motion Picture" went to Glenn Close. Karen was devastated - but only until she heard what Glenn Close had to say.
