Hour 1 Drew Lock spoke to the media yesterday and is confused and not happy being skipped over as the number two quarterback. The Giants leapfrogged him for the fans. They want Tommy DeVito and they are giving them a reason to come out on Sunday. If DeVito plays well we'll ask why he didn't get a start sooner, and it will hurt their draft order. Kirk Cousins could be available as a ‘stop gap guy' for the Giants. Boomer thinks if this was an away game for the Giants, Lock probably would have gotten the start. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with a preview of Steelers/Browns tonight. There could be snow tonight in Cleveland. Dexter Lawrence talked about the benching of Daniel Jones and Brian Daboll talked about Dexter's comments. Shannon Sharpe and Ochocinco talked about Thanksgiving. Ocho said he'll see if a follower of his will let him go to their place. In the final segment of the hour, over 30 million people watched the Sunday game between the Chiefs and Bills. Netflix could be a major player when the NFL rights come up for CBS or Fox. Hour 2 Boomer loved the Country Music Awards last night and Peyton Manning was in the mix. Boomer wants to move the morning show studios to the Hamptons. Tommy DeVito said he is going to calm down on the off field stuff and focus on football, and Gio is afraid this is going to change what we love about him. Boomer said Todd Bowles is going to come in and ‘blitz his ass'. Boomer wonders what Mike Vrabel is up to. Jerry returns for an update, but first Gio said Pete Hoffman revealed his weight on BT & Sal. He said significantly more than 300 lbs. BT once asked a female wrestler in studio for a pic but he just took a pic of her. He wasn't in it. Dov said he weighed 202. Jerry has audio of the Knicks beating the Suns in Phoenix. A caller said he listened to Jerry do the Rutgers game and he was loving it. In the final segment of the hour, Darius Paduch has been sentenced to life in jail. A caller said he hates everything about the Tommy DeVito situation. Hour 3 Tomorrow night is Boomer & Gio Live at the Paramount. Peter Schwartz priced himself out of participating. Big Zoo decided to go see Wicked instead so he's out as well. A caller said he played all of the WFAN theme songs at his wedding's cocktail hour. That got us to play the creepy song someone did for Anne Liguori. Jerry returns for an update but first a caller asks if he heard a Gio commercial correctly, that his daughter likes the feel of his underwear. The Syracuse women's basketball coach is pissed that the fans don't seem to care about them. The Steelers are only 3.5 favorites in Cleveland and Boomer thinks it should be more. In the final segment of the hour, there's a jackknifed tractor trailer that is wreaking havoc on Long Island. This is an important game for the Bucs so Tommy DeVito could spoil it for them. Hour 4 Yesterday Boomer said that he thinks Aaron Rodgers is injured. Some people thought Boomer was making excuses for him. There is something wrong with his left leg and he's out there playing hurt. A caller said Boomer would drive to his high school in a red convertible and steal all the girls.

Well, that's SUPER embarrassing for you...Thankfully, Yussef Rafik (children's TV presenter/zoologist/slug enthusiast) is here to tell you all you need to know about Slugs (genitalia and otherwise). The human experience with Slugs can probably be best described as one of "disgust", right? But Slugs are actually incredible creatures and are super important for our survival, so tune in to hear Alice and Yussef talking about why we need them, where the word "sluggish" comes from, and also why you should NEVER EVER eat a slug, not even on a dare from your friends. Our charity of the week this week is the incredible Bug Life - a charity Alice has actually mentioned on the show but their work is so vital, it bears repeating. Hour 1 The Knicks absolutely blew out the Denver Nuggets last night at the Garden. We talked about Jalen Brunson and OG Anunoby's performance. It's also NFL Championship weekend and the Ravens may get TE Mark Andrews back. If the Knicks are going to do damage this year, Julius Randle is going to have to be as good in the playoffs as he is in the regular season and we haven't seen that from him yet. But Gio has faith in him this year. He has been phenomenal. The Falcons hired Raheem Morris, so it looks like Bill Belichick will not coach in 2024. Bill Cowher thinks that maybe NFL owners think Belichik is coaching to get the all time winning record and not to win another Super Bowl. Boomer also talked about why it's hard to hire a guy like Belichick. This opens the door for Belichick to the Giants if Brian Daboll and the Giants don't have a good year. Right now, the Giants don't have any weapons, especially if Saquon leaves. Daniel Jones will not be ready at the start of the season, so what is their plan at QB? Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with the sounds of the Knicks dominating the Nuggets. Charles Barkley thinks Jalen Brunson should be starting in the All Star Game over Damian Lillard. Kayvon Thibodeaux was on Carmelo Anthony's podcast and said he thought Saquon should have been paid before Daniel Jones. Patrick Mahomes Sr was on with Evan and Tiki yesterday and he said he was not in the box with Taylor Swift. Everyone thought it was him but he was in a different box. In the final segment of the hour, Boomer is heading to Vegas next week to shoot his NFL Greatest Super Bowl Commercials TV show. We also talked about golf courses only wanting us in Vegas if Boomer is playing. If Gio doesn't golf out there, what is he supposed to do? Eat, drink and gamble for 9 days?  Hour 2 The Carolina Panthers have hired Dave Canales as their new head coach. He was the Bucs offensive coordinator. Gio said the only way he got that job was because nobody else wanted it. Boomer wonders what's going on with Colts owner Jim Irsay. We haven't heard anything about him since hearing he was administered Narcan back in December. We also talked about the Oscars, Barbie and Oppenheimer. Gio did impressions of Mike Francesa with a message for Margot Robbie. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the sounds of the Knicks dominating the Nuggets last night at MSG. Jerry previewed the NFL Championship games. Fans at the Red Wings game were chanting Jared Goff's name. In the final segment of the hour, Boomer & Bill Cowher were driving around Long Island yesterday and Boomer took him to where the Gilgo Beach killer dumped the bodies. Later in the day they talked to the guy who is prosecuting him. What would it be like for Bill Cowher to ride the subway?  Hour 3 Both Bill Belichick and Mike Vrabel look like they are not going to be coaching in 2024. Belichick could be on the Giants radar if Brian Daboll has a bad year. We also talked about NFL owners having no patience these days. It looks like lots of rain in Baltimore for Sunday's championship game. Boomer wonders why Al got tickets for the Sphere without going through the hotel concierge. Al has no idea how to handle concierges. Jerry is here for an update but first Boomer found something for us to do in Vegas: drive tanks. A concierge calls in to tell us how you should always use one and they don't have the word ‘no' in their vocabulary. Jerry has audio from Andrew ‘Dice' Clay's interview on BT & Sal yesterday. BT made an unfortunate joke that made us all uncomfortable. In the final segment of the hour, new Panthers head coach Dave Canales is on Twitter and Gio said it's time for him to get off.  Hour 4 This is the last real week of football before the insanity starts in Vegas. Gio doesn't want the Chiefs in the Super Bowl. Mahomes has won enough and he doesn't want to see Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift. He is ‘Chiefs' out'. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the Knicks clobbering the Nuggets at MSG last night. Carmelo Anthony thought Phil Jackson was a great coach despite his tenure with the Knicks. He also liked the triangle but said the younger players weren't catching on. The Moment of The Day has Gio agasp as Boomer said, ‘maybe we don't bring the golf clubs' to Vegas. In the final segment of the show, our NFL Championship game picks, with Yussef!

Hour 1 It is looking more and more like Bill Belichick is going to the Falcons. Boomer said it's ‘definitely' happening. They have to go through the interview process for the Rooney Rule. Boomer does not like the sham interviews they do just to fulfill the rule. Mainly when they interview a veteran coach they have no interest in hiring. It works the way it is supposed to work when they interview a young coordinator. Boomer expects Belichick to the Falcons to be announced soon. And there are rumors Kirk Cousins could join him there. Phil Simms could see Justin Fields going with Belichick. C-Lo is in for Jerry, who is out with the flu. The Knicks beat the Wizards thanks to Jalen Brunson's 41 points. The Rangers lost out in Vegas. Kirk Cousins said he wouldn't turn down an opportunity to play with a Hall of Fame coach. Mike McCarthy said he came to Dallas to win a championship and you should, ‘buy into us'. In the final segment of the hour, we have a Twitter beef between Jay Gruden and RGIII. Gio said they both sucked in the NFL.  Hour 2 Gio loves Anthony Campanile, a LB coach on the Dolphins. He's interviewing for a job on the Giants defensive staff. Gio finds him inspiring in how he talks. Very passionate.  This weekend we get to finally see the Ravens, who it feels like we haven't seen in a while. CJ Stroud is awesome, but Gio doesn't see him beating the Ravens in Baltimore. The Packers go into San Francisco and Gio thinks they may look like they can't compete with the Niners. Gio is tempted to jump on the Bucs this week but thinks the Lions will be going to the Championship Game. The Bucs beat a team that was dead, the Eagles. The Lions are not dead. The final game of the weekend is Chiefs at Bills and Boomer is leaning Bills. C-Lo returns for an update and starts with Jalen Brunson scoring 41 as the Knicks beat the Wizards. RGIII took to his podcast to talk about Jay Gruden and how their relationship deteriorated. In the final segment of the hour, Angel Cabrera is welcome back to the Masters as long as he's allowed to travel to the U.S. A caller said Cabrera would not sign an autograph for his child in a wheelchair.  Hour 3 CJ Stroud thanked Jesus after the Wild Card game which did air live. When it was posted on social media it was edited out. Gio thinks it was edited out because of time constraints and to get to the point of the game. A caller plays F, Marry, Kill with Antonio Brown, Kyrie Irving and Marcus Stroman. Gio said Al should rate restaurant bathrooms. Gio doesn't like when someone locks the bathroom if they only have a trough, because then a line forms. Just urinate next to a stranger. C-Lo returns for an update and starts with Jalen Brunson scoring 41 as the Knicks beat the Wizards. Saints GM Mickey Loomis met the media and was chewing gum in an annoying manner. C-Lo has audio from Marcus Stroman but Gio has no interest in  hearing it. ‘That guy sucks'. In the final segment of the hour, Gio questions Stephen Waldron on the email he sent about ideas on things to do in Vegas.  Hour 4 Boomer's original Super Bowl pick was Jets/Eagles. His new one is Bills/Niners. We took calls on men's public restrooms as well. C-Lo returns for his final update of the day and starts with Jalen Brunson scoring 41 as the Knicks beat the Wizards. Hour 1 Super Wild Card Weekend is here and we have some thoughts. Boomer thinks the Texans can upset the Browns at home. Gio thinks the Rams will beat the Lions. Gio still wants the Dolphins since he likes Mike McDaniel and he can't stand the Chiefs. You can get into the Dolphins/Chiefs game for $50 because of the temperatures. Dua Lipa has a new boyfriend and everyone keeps sending Gio the story. And the Yankees signed Marcus Stroman, who has certainly had his battles with the media. Gio said if you don't like the way he pitches, you are a racist. At least that's what Marcus thinks. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with audio from Bill Belichick's press conference. He told the media he respects what they do. Robert Kraft said it was ‘instinctual' by both him and Belichick that this was the right time. Aaron Rodgers was back on Pat McAfee to talk about Belichick and Nick Saban. Gio said Rodgers is like Herpes, you can't get rid of him. Mike McDaniel also talked about Belichick and said, ‘Father time's a dick'. In the final segment of the hour, Gio previously said Robert Kraft is a great man and he stands by that despite the happy ending. We also played a Belechick tribute song by Chandler Jones.  Hour 2 There was a rumor out of Pittsburgh that said the NFL was moving the Steelers/Bills game to Cleveland due to a major snowstorm. That is fake news, sad. We talked about the weather in Buffalo. It's supposed to be -9 in Kansas City. Jerry returns for an update and starts with Bill Belichick talking to the media about leaving New England. Aaron Rodgers went on Pat McAfee to talk about Belichick and Nick Saban. Ochocinco said Dak Prescott will get a statue if he wins a Super Bowl. Marcus Stroman signed with the Yankees. The Knicks lost in Dallas last night. Next up, the Grizzlies without Ja Morant. The Thunder beat the Blazers 139-77. Damn. The Rangers lost their third straight. Gio went to Disney On Ice and said every five feet they're selling you something. In the final segment of the hour, the Seahawks threw a big party for Pete Carroll. Is he going to stay as an advisor with them or go coach somewhere else. Boomer said there are 3 playoff teams that could fire their head coach: Eagles, Cowboys and the Bucs.  Hour 3 There are many out there that think Nick Sirianni is out if the Eagles lose to the Bucs on Monday night. Gio can't believe they would do that. Boomer thinks the Bears are going to be set up for 10 years after they trade Justin Fields and draft Caleb Williams. Gio wonders how the players feel about Sirianni. We also talked about MetLife putting grass down for soccer and then putting the turf back in for football. Jerry returns for an update and starts with audio from BT and Sal talking about Drew Barrymore's appearance on the show. BT is a ‘huge fan', but also thinks she was in Poltergeist. She was not. Breaking news as Jerod Mayo will become the next Head Coach of the New England Patriots. Gio said that in Ecuador, Narcos mafia were holding guns to the heads of hosts on live TV. Jerry went around the NBA last night. The Rangers lost their third in a row, this time to the Blues. A caller was inspired by a Jerry story and he made $39K on a 13-leg parlay. He cashed out after 12 games. He could have won $93K if he stayed in. In the final segment of the hour, Gio said people are getting mini cows as pets now.  Hour 4 Jerod Mayo will be the next Head Coach in New England. Hour 1 This is the final Football Friday of the regular season. The Giants can move all the way up to number two in the draft if things fall into place. The big game of the weekend is Sunday night between the Bills and Dolphins. The Bills seem to be on their way up and the Dolphins on their way down. Boomer thinks the Bills will win. Gio thinks their fans think they will blow it. Boomer wants Josh Allen in the playoffs. Jerry is here for his first update of the day but first it's our 10th anniversary on CBS Sports Network. Nate Hackett talked about the Jets offense this year and going forward to next season. Jerry went around the NHL for the locals last night. In the final segment of the hour, there is a fake document going around the internet that said Jimmy Kimmel was on the Epstein list. He was not. It's a total fake. The internet seems absolutely insane, but when you interact with real people, most people seem reasonable.  Hour 2 The Mets are signing Harrison Bader. At first Gio felt like they were getting the Yankees scraps but now likes it. Gio thinks if you're selling tickets at the Mets right now, you have a tough time. Gio remembers where he was when he heard Edwin Diaz injured his knee during a celebration in the World Baseball Classic. A caller thinks the Lions can make a run in the playoffs more easily than the Browns can. Jerry returns for an update and Boomer said many people have sent him stuff about The Curious Case of Natalia Grace. Jersey Jerry finally hit his hole in one yesterday. Sauce Gardner said he wants to win this week against the Patriots. Wink Martindale said they have to be better on defense going forward. Cee Dee Lamb talked about facing the Commanders to win the NFC East. Josh Allen was reminded he's 9-2 against Miami in his career. The Rangers beat the Blackhawks 4-1. In the final segment of the hour, Gio cannot believe Oscar Pistorius is already out of jail after only serving 8 years for killing his girlfriend. A caller wants the Yankees to sign Trevor Bauer. He will be a guest on BT & Sal today. Boomer wonders if Sal will only ask him about baseball. Gio said Sal better ask some sex questions.  Hour 3 In the overnights, C-Mac said he wanted the Giants to lose this week for a better draft pick. Fans were calling in saying he's not a real Giants fan if he wants them to lose. Gio said it's better for the franchise to lose this week, so even as a fan, you have to be rooting for the Eagles. Jerry returns for an update but first Boomer said the Islanders love pizza after the games. Jerry goes around the NFL as we heard from head coaches on this week's upcoming games. Mike Vrabel said it sucks to lose. Jerry went around the NBA last night. Shaq is getting his jersey retired by the Orlando Magic. In the final segment of the hour, Dov Kleiman and NFL social media aggregators are battling each other with accusations of hacking. It's an aggregator on aggregator crime.  Hour 4 Boomer and Eddie want snow and Gio wants no part of it. We debated loving snow or hating it and took many calls. We also talked about Grizzly Man, where the guy and his wife were eaten by a bear. Jerry returns for an update but first we talked more about a grizzly bear eating a man and his wife. Stephen A. Smith was asked ‘how do I find a girl who won't cheat on me?' Gio said Stephen A. must be bored by sports as he loves talking about relationships much more. Boomer wonders if the Yankees deal had opt outs for him. If they did, then he really didn't want to play in New York. Trevor Siemian is starting for the Jets against the Commanders and Gio called it a ‘total dull puke spot'. With us being off next week, Gio loves that he doesn't have to pay attention to the game. Hour 1 Yamamoto is going to the Dodgers on a 12-year, $325 million deal. The Mets made the same offer and he chose LA. He could have offered more or he could have offered the same money for 10-years. And the Yankees offered less. The Dodgers are the new evil empire. So it will be another average season for the Mets. This was a big prize for them and they missed out. Boomer thinks Yamamoto used the Mets to get to a number just to have the Dodgers match it. Steve Cohen is becoming the guy everyone uses for leverage to get more money from the team they want to play for. He's a trampoline. Gio doesn't think it's the worst thing in the world for the Mets and Yankees. The Yankees added Juan Soto so they have something new headed into the season. Gio said baseball free agency is like being in college and trying to pick up women in a bar. Jerry is here for his first update and has audio from Alex Verdugo as he's excited to be a Yankee. Derek Jeter said he didn't have kids while he was playing because he was selfish. The Rams beat the Saints last night. Bill Cowher talked about George Pickens not blocking because he doesn't want to get injured. Cowher said they need to put Kenny Pickens under center. Mike Kafka talked about Tommy DeVito getting ready to play Philly on Monday. The Pistons lost again, that's now 25 in a row. In the final segment of the hour, Yamamoto is going to the Dodgers. The Mets offered the same, the Yankees offered him less, but for less years. Boomer said the Dodgers now have one of the best lineups in the history of baseball. On paper of course. The Mets have no expectations now, so maybe that's good, considering what we had last year. Gio called Cohen & Stearns ‘The Property Brothers', going in and working with what they got.  Hour 2 The Friday before Christmas is always very joyous. Peter Schwartz deleted a post on Twitter where he commented on a Jets player's wife's butt. He also deleted a picture of a sandwich. Yamamoto is a Dodger. Gio is comfortable with what happened. Boomer said he feels bad for Steve Cohen. He went to Japan, he hosted him for dinner in CT. He feels Cohen got played by Yamamoto. Boomer never thought he was coming to the Mets. Cohen spending all that money last year and going all in got them nothing. Jerry returns for an update and we wonder if CBS would have sent a camera crew to cover the funeral of Jerry if he was killed by the golf ball that hit him in the eye. Jerry has audio from Alex Verdugo being introduced by the Yankees and he's happy to be here. Gio said he will be a fan favorite. The Rams beat the Saints 30-22. Jalen Hurts talked about the comments he made after last week's game. The Pistons lost their 25th straight game. In the final segment of the hour, Al bought Gio a Fat Perez hoodie for Christmas. Chris Russo's son, Colin, is hosting tonight from 10pm-2am. And Gallo is hosting overnight Christmas Eve into Christmas morning.  Hour 3 Yamamoto is going to the Dodgers as they matched the offer from the Mets and he went there instead. How do you build a winner in baseball? Strengthen a lineup or strength in pitching? We've seen both work. Gio said if you are going to spend that much money, it needs to be an everyday player like Juan Soto, who plays every game all season. Jerry returns for an update and starts with Alex Verdugo looking forward to what the Yankees offense will be like. The Rams beat the Saints last night. Shannon Sharpe and Ochocinco talked about getting a raccoon as a pet. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about our upcoming trip to Vegas for the Super Bowl. Gio wonders if we will get a huge snowstorm before the Super Bowl. Gio said to make sure you tip the sanitation guys this year. Also, your mail carrier.  Hour 4 Yamamoto is going to the Dodgers and Gio doesn't think it's all that bad for the Mets. The Yankees offered $300 million for ten years. The Dodgers offered $325 for 12 years. Boomer wonders if the Yankees deal had opt outs for him. If they did, then he really didn't want to play in New York. Hour 1 The Chargers got blown out last night, losing 63-21 to the Raiders. Brandon Staley is going to be out of a job after that performance, and it could come as early as today. The Raiders put up 63 points a week after scoring 0 against the Vikings. So that job will be open and the Commanders job will be open as the new ownership will certainly move on from Ron Rivera. Boomer said the Dolphins could be ripe for the picking by the Jets on Sunday. The Fins are dealing with some key injuries including Tyreek Hill and their Center. Tyreek Hill is dealing with 2 paternity lawsuits and just got married a few weeks ago. Jerry is here for his first update but first Al & Gina need to find something to do today and B&G suggest shopping and lunch at Americana Manhasset. Jerry starts with play-by-play from last night's blowout in Vegas. Antonio Pierce said his Raiders were locked in. Richard Sherman said the Chargers should have fired Staley at halftime. Staley defended his position as head coach of the team after the game. Saquon Barkley talked about the defense and Tommy DeVito. The Dodgers introduced Shohei Ohtani and Yamamoto started following the Dodgers and Mookie Betts on Instagram. Stephen A. Smith gets an email about dating his friend's sister. In the final segment of the hour, when do we expect Yamamoto to announce what team he's going to? Will there be a second round of meetings with teams? A caller can't believe Jerry didn't know who Bobby Miller was (he's on the Dodgers if you didn't know either). Gio thinks Yamamoto is going to the Dodgers. Boomer said the Dodgers or the Yankees.  Hour 2 What do these next few weeks hold for the Jets? It has to be for fans to have faith in Rob Saleh and to get some momentum going into next year. And with Aaron Rodgers coming back, Boomer said we will be in the same spot as we were last year in the offseason with the Jets. The Jets can't get smoked at any point during the last part of the season. The Jets can't look like the Chargers did last night. Who will win the final game between the Jets and Bill Belichick? Either way, it will be ‘poetry in motion'. If you're Belichick do you go along with them trying to trade you, or do you make Bob Kraft fire you? We also talked about homing pigeons and wondered if people still use them today. We then took calls about homing pigeons. A lot of calls about pigeons. Jerry returns for an update but first Gio said you can actually bet on pigeon racing on your phone. Jerry has audio from Shannon Sharpe and Ochocinco talking about taking a homeless man to a strip club. They also talked about strip club cuisine. Boomer said he doesn't want to eat at a strip club. The Chargers got smoked last night by the Raiders. It was 42-0 at the half. In the final segment of the hour, Dwight Howard is embroiled in a lawsuit. A man said Howard sexually assaulted him. Howard's lawyer called the man a willing participant. There was some personal touching involved. Howard's lawyer said this is a case of ‘unrequited love'.  Hour 3 Tonight is our Boomer & Gio Live where we cover Peter Schwartz in marshmallow fluff for Schwartzy The Snowman. Since the start of the military operation in Gaza, countless reports by journalists embedded with the IDF troops have appeared in the Israeli media. But there was one eight-and-a-half minute-long TV broadcast that aired on Kan - the Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation - that stood out. In it, Riyad Ali, a 61-year-old Druze journalist from the town of Maghar in the Galilee, accompanied soldiers from the Golani Brigade who were operating in the Zeitun neighborhood of Gaza City. He spoke to a bunch of them, including one shy officer, Yussef, who just so happened to also be Druze. It was a pretty standard interview, but at some point something unusual happened: Unsatisfied, perhaps, with the officer's guarded answers, Riyad took the mic and launched into an on-air monologue. He spoke from the depths of his heart about the discrimination the Druze population faces and reminded viewers that the Declaration of Independence promised all Israeli citizens equal rights, irrespective of race, religion or sex. Despite the Druzes' loyalty, he went on, and despite the fact that six Druze soldiers have been killed since the start of the war, they still feel like second class citizens. That clip went viral. Riyad's courage to speak up surprised and touched many Israelis, who are - these days - accustomed to a more patriotic tone on the news. But when he chose, in what seemed like a spur of the moment decision, to go public with his more complex views, Riyad wasn't only speaking as a member of the Druze minority. He was also speaking as a man who, nineteen years ago, was himself kidnapped by Hamas in Gaza. The end song is Nus Nus ("Half-Half") by Noam Tsuriely. Hosted on Acast. Can the Buffalo Bills get hot, win a statement game this week against the Chiefs, and go on a run? The Jaguars could be in trouble if they lose the next few games without Trevor Lawrence. The Steelers are having the same problem as Zach Wilson and the Jets. They have quarterbacks that don't have a feel for the game.  Hour 2 There was a woman on CNBC, Meredith Whitney, who claimed that, because of sports betting, young men don't want to date or have sex now. Boomer said they always have great uniforms for those games. We also talked about going to Vegas for the Super Bowl and how Gio plans on golfing every day. Boomer wants to know if he needs to get us tickets for the Sphere. Gio wonders if the Patriots play well the rest of the way, could Belichick stay. Boomer can't wait for the Jets/Patriots game, the last game of the season. Gio can't imagine Belichick going out on a loss to the Jets. Boomer hopes Caleb Williams doesn't say no to the Bears if they draft him. They are a legacy team in the NFL. Jerry is here for another update and has audio from Ian Eagle and last night's Patriots win over the Steelers. Jerry went around the NBA last night. Hour 1 Last night the Cowboys/Seahawks game had a ton of offense and no points as the Cowboys won 41-35. But the story of the game was the amount of penalties called: 25 total called and 19 accepted for a total of 257 yards. The Niners go into Philadelphia this week in what is sure to be the game of the week. People will not believe in the Cowboys until they win playoff games. Jerry returns for an update but first Gio was in the city yesterday and saw Camila Cabello in a coffee shop. Nantz and Romo are off this week because they worked two games last weekend. In the final segment of the hour, Sports Illustrated named Deion Sanders their Sportsperson of The Year even though they are now 4-8. If not Deion, then who? Damar Hamlin maybe? Dak Prescott? Nikola Jokic?  Hour 2 Aaron Rodgers said he understands the risk of coming back too early, but said it wouldn't be a problem because he would have time to rehab before next season. He also spent the entire day after being injured, crying. Gio said now there's no doubt he's coming back to play this s eason. The Jets only have a 0.9 % chance of making the playoffs. Tyreek Hill talked about his time in KC and said Mahomes was too close to Kelce but it sounds like he was sort of joking. In the final segment of the hour, when bacon is bad, it's really bad.  Hour 3 Gio heard a story that Mark Gastineau threatened to beat up Brett Favre at an autograph signing for handing Michael Strahan the sack record. Jerry returns for an update and starts with audio from last night's Cowboys win over the Seahawks. Dak Prescott talked about being blessed being the Cowboys QB. Would he use the NFL as leverage to get another college coaching job? He is going to want total control of an NFL franchise. Maybe Chicago, where he played for the Bears? Gio thinks David Tepper of the Panthers will go nuts and offer Harbaugh a ton of money. Hour 4 We are all going to miss Tommy DeVito this week with the Giants on a bye. Jerry has audio of a man going off on somebody on the golf course. In the final segment of the hour, Saquon Barkley revealed he has a high ankle sprain. Gio thinks Saquon revealed it because Taylor Rooks is attractive. He thinks attractive women should do interrogations.  Hour 2 With horrendous weather coming to the area this weekend, can the wind and rain actually help the Jets this Sunday? Boomer just said, ‘take the under'. Boomer doesn't think Zach will throw more than 20 passes if the weather is nasty. Have to ground and pound it. Hour 1 The Eagles are off to a 2-0 start after beating the Vikings but their defense did not look great for the second week in a row. Kirk Cousins threw for 4 TDs and 364 yards and lost. Greg Kelly of Newsmax seemed to blame ayahuasca for Aaron Rodgers' injury. Colorado State coach Jay Norvell took a shot at Deion Sanders and he said now the game is personal. In the final segment of the hour, last week Gio hit a huge pothole. He needed roadside assistance. Hour 2 The Jets play in Dallas on Sunday. Gio has no faith in Zach Wilson, but Boomer has seen some great moments at times in games. A caller said the worst thing that happened was the Jets winning that game because now they have ‘false bravado'. We set Brandon Tierney's motivational Jets speech to music. Jerry returns for an update and has audio of Chris Russo talking about not being allowed to talk to Roger Goodell. He said he feels like a piece of garbage for not being included. He definitely would rather face the Jets with Zach Wilson. Hour 3 We start with a caller who wonders why the Jets left Aaron Rodgers exposed on the play he got injured on. Boomer said he held on to the ball too long, and that's what led to the sack. A caller reminds us that Zach Wilson hasn't made it through a season without getting hurt. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the Eagles beating the Vikings. Jalen Hurts and AJ Brown were arguing on the sideline even though they were winning the entire time. Al has some new Zach Wilson songs. Saquon Barkley said the Giants can't act like the sky is falling after one loss. Aaron Judge hit a grand slam last night in Boston. We also compared Tua sitting in the pocket compared to what Zach Wilson is doing. Gio would rather see Zach Wilson do great and the Jets lose, than the Jets win despite him. Hour 1 The Lions upset the Chiefs last night and it was a terrible loss for Kansas City. The main reason they lost is former Giants WR Kadarius Toney. There were some clock management issues for the Chiefs as they went for it on 4th and 25 late with all 3 timeouts and the 2 minute warning. The Giants need domination from their defensive line and Daniel Jones needs to be throwing for 300 yards a game. We also talked about Eric Bienemy no longer being in KC and what he can do for the Commanders. Boomer wonders if the Saudis will try to start a league to compete against the NFL. Jerry returns for an update and has all the sound from last night's Lions win over the Chiefs. Kadarius Toney dropped a lot of balls. Patrick Mahomes was embarrassed by the loss. Hour 3 Gio loves JustinTuck and said it's difficult to not like the Giants now. South London's Yussef Dayes has made a name for himself as one of the most exciting jazz drummers and composers to emerge in recent years. Anticipation has been mounting for a full-length album from Dayes and we'll finally see it come to fruition with his debut solo album, Black Classical Music, out Sept. 8. Alongside the album's announcement, Dayes shared this statement:  “What is jazz? Where did the word derive from? Birthed in New Orleans, born in the belly of the Mississippi River, rooted in the gumbo pot of the Caribbean, South American culture & African rituals. Continuing a lineage of Miles Davis, Rahssan Roland kirk, Nina Simone, John Coltrane, Louis Armstrong ~ music that is forever evolving & limitless in its potential. The groove, it's feeling, the compositions, the spontaneity, with a love for family, the discipline & dedication in maintaining the very high bar set by the pantheon of Black Classical Musicians. Chasing the rhythm of drums that imitated one's heartbeat, the melodies for the mind and spirit, the bass for the core. A Regal sound for this body of music.” The single “Rust” finds Dayes teaming up with fellow English jazz wunderkind and frequent collaborator Tom Misch. The instrumental jam finds both musicians at the height of their powers, locking into that cosmic groove Daye speaks of with delectable percussion pastiche, ambient vocals, and a bass line that'll rumble in your bones for days. - Dusty HenrySupport the show: https://www.kexp.org/donateSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
