A prayer based on Luke 23:50-51. The year I got engaged, I visited several bridal shops in search of the perfect wedding dress. I scanned for hours looking for “my” dress, but in the end, it was worth every second. Like the biblical story of the treasure in a field—or the perfect wedding dress—when you find the kingdom of God, you're willing to give up other things to have it. Are you looking for the kingdom of God? When you watch the nightly news, do you pray that God's will be done on earth as it is in heaven? When you interact with your spouse or your children, do you respond with a kingdom-focused heart? Tune in to today's episode with Suzanne Gosselin. It's a challenge in the world that we live in today because there's so much coming at us: phones ringing and dings for email and dings for text messages, and just so much stuff coming at us, that it's getting more and more challenging to keep our minds on anything for any length of time.We need to really begin to pray and ask God to give us the ability to focus. We're missing things that God's doing, we're missing things that God wants us to do because we just don't focus on what we should be focusing on.I believe one of the things that brings us into a closer, more intimate relationship with God, is if we pay attention to what he's doing in our lives and make a bigger deal out of it than what we are doing now.

What would it look like if we allow Jesus to change and transform us and give God permission to use the resources that he's placed in our hands?
Matthew 5:1-12 ESV1 Seeing the crowds, he went up on the mountain, and when he sat down, his disciples came to him. 2 And he opened his mouth and taught them, saying: 3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 4 “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. 5 “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. 6 “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied. 7 “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy. 8 “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. 9 “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. 10 “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 “Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. 12 Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. • • •Sermon Points:Kingdom ValuesKingdom ResponsibilitiesKingdom BenefitsKingdom Effect • • •Application:Take confidence in knowing that as we persevere in the Christian faith through obedience to the Word of God and the Holy Spirit that is in us, Jesus is at work making us more like Him every day which will lead to a life of blessing and true happiness.

We acknowledge the truth that the enemy attacks in many ways, however, we highlighted how the enemy tries to divide the many members in the body of Christ. Four women come together in love, excitement, unity, and with spiritual knowledge to share their personal and revelatory experiences. Listen for yourself and share with others. John 20:19-22 "When it was evening on that day, the first day of the week, and the doors of the house where the disciples had met were locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you.” After he said this, he showed them his hands and his side. Then the disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord. Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.” When he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit."
From the very start of his ministry, Jesus is clear about his focus. Jesus is obsessed with, focused on, oriented around the huge idea of the Kingdom of God. When we follow Jesus, his focus becomes our focus...his obsession becomes our obsession...his priority becomes our priority. But what is the Kingdom? How does someone like me get in? And what do I do when I'm part of the Kingdom of God?
