Bhakti Rasamrita Swami is a sannyasi in the ISKCON tradition. He teaches the eternal message of sanatan dharma all over the world including in India, Singapore, UK, USA, Australia and Russia. He is presently one of the trustees of ISKCON India. He is a member of the Vrindavan Executive Board which oversees the management of ISKCON, Vrindavan. He has previously served as temple president of ISKCON, Chowpatty in Mumbai and ISKCON, Vrindavan. Having explored the philosophy and life of Sri Krishna Chaitanya, and having outlined Bhakti in practice as part of last year's Gaur Purnima (Chaitanya Jayanti) celebration, we now turn to some more specialized themes in our study of Tantrik Vaishnavism beginning with some dhyāna mantras (meditation and visualization techniques) for Krishna and Rādhā Rāni! Here is some of what we shared in the talk:“I meditate on the golden hued Gauranga whose beautiful hair is bound by a string of pearls whose moonlike face beams a gentle smile his body is smeared with sandalwood and other fragrant pastes and a beautiful cloth who is garlanded and ornamented in a divine way. Asborbed in dancing, he delights in rasa (the sweetness of devotion/chanting the name). He shines brighter than the Cupid (kandarpa-veśojvallam) and is attended to by His devotees.”   Brahma Samhita:A great hexagonal yantra in which the Kāma-bīja is the diamond peg in the center, accompanied by Rādha and Krishna surrounded by the Krishna mantra, the 18 syllabled Gopāla mantra and then the Kāma gāyatrī surrounded by the ashta-manjaris and beyond the petals the abode of the sakis… “evambhūta yoga-pīthe srī srī rādhā-krshnau smaret”...”mīlitam bhāti mudritam” it blooms and contracts through the desire of rādhā-krishna-līla-rasa (the bliss of the union of Rādhā and Krishna)   dhyayed vrndāvane ramye gopa-gobhir alankrte  kadamba pādapacchāye yamuna jala śitalerādhaya sahitam krshnam  vamśī vādana tat param  tribhanga lalitam devam  bhaktānugraha kārakam   “Krishna plays in the cool waters of the Yamuna, rests in the shade of the Kadamba tree in Vrndāvan. He is surrounded by cows and milkmen/milkmaids and is with Srī Rādha. Lord Nityananda Himself has opened a market-place of the Holy Name in Surabhi-Kunja. 2) The news of its great results is that He is selling the pure Holy Name in that market-place for the price of only one's faith. 3) Lord Nityananda, the proprietor of the market, seeing all the devotees become attracted, is selling them the Holy Name after bargaining with them. 4) O brother, if you want to buy the Holy Name, then go with me. We must go to the presence of that great soul, Nityananda. 5) You will buy the name of Krsna, I will take my commission and all of our desires will be fulfilled. 6) Lord Nityananda is greatly merciful. Taking only one's faith, He gives the highest ecstasy. 7) If Nitai sees only once tears in the eyes while chanting the name "Gaura", then He gives all resources to that person. 8) He gives the pure teachings of Krsna to everyone and does not care for one's birth, wealth, knowledge and strength. 9) Now, giving up the illusory snare of Maya, either remain in household life or in the forest as a sannyasi for no more troubles remain. 10) There is no more fear of the age of Kali. The merciful Nityananda gives the Holy Name to even the candalas. 11) Bhaktivinoda calls out "Except for the lotus feet of Lord Nityananda there is no other shelter!" Of course we have to control the mind, and I have already instructed you and all my students that the restless fickle mind can only be controlled by putting the mind to the lotus feet of Krsna, and that can best be done by chanting Hare Krsna mantra, and there is no alternative in this age. By chanting without offenses, the devotee cries to Radharani and Krsna to please lift him out of the material energy and put him into the spiritual energy, which is devotional service. And because we are not at the stage where we can chant and do nothing else all day, there are so many other engagements. So you have sufficient engagement there? Because if we are not fulltime engaged then the mind is free to do its fickle business of rejection and acceptance for sense gratification. Maya will immediately enter—we do not even have to call her—the moment we are not absorbed in Krsna's devotional service. Many of us share the experience of setting out, in different ways, hoping to “create” happiness. We may stimulate our mind and senses with different experiences which can produce pleasurable feelings, but these experiences are neither lasting nor fulfilling. In fact, they can eventually lead to a feeling of emptiness and even depression. Why? This is addressed in this talk. To find real happiness it requires us to begin an inward journey of self-discovery, to discover our true spiritual identity and spiritual nature. This will entail living a more careful and thoughtful life of purpose. Happiness is not accidental. It is the product of purpose-driven actions that deliver a wonderful spiritual experience that truly satisfies the soul. A couple of ancient texts I shared: A person who is not disturbed by the incessant flow of desires -- that enter like rivers into the ocean, which is ever being filled but is always still -- can alone achieve peace, and not the man who strives to satisfy such desires. Bhagavad-gītā 2.70 One who is not connected with the Supreme [in Krsna consciousness] can have neither transcendental intelligence nor a steady mind, without which there is no possibility of peace. And how can there be any happiness without peace? Bhagavad-gītā 2.66

In a dream I was shown that when I'm chanting "Hare Rama Hare Krishna", it's like I'm riding in the chariot that's being guided by Krishna, that has Hanuman flying over it, protecting it. And as long as I'm chanting the Mantra, as long as I'm hearing the Mantra, hearing the silence behind it simultaneously (the sound of the Real Mantra beyond it, simultaneously), God is here.
