This Friday episode begins with the “Geronimo Test” and the $100,000 price for something called the Smash GC Family Package. Then Brendan and Andy reflect on Brooks Koepka playing in Oman the week of the Phoenix Open. There is some Dynapower scoop from Andy's day out at the Pebble Pro Am, as well as some Kitty Kat facts. They review the wonders of Martin Trainer's website, which proudly claims anti-American and socialist views. There's exasperation over three days of preferred lies at Pebble because of the chance of moderate rain in one afternoon. News hits on WGC Austin folding up after this year, PXG developing a golf ball, and rumors of Cam Smith struggling to find a country club in the Jacksonville area. They close with an SGS Golf advice on guilt by cheating association, calling a penalty on yourself or trying to hash it out with a partner, and more.

The team is back together as Stefan returns and he and Scott welcome back Canadian Aaron Crawford. Crawford, of Calgary, Alberta recently Monday qualified and played in his first PGA TOUR, the 3M Open. What makes it more remarkable was that he has spent the last number of weeks working as a caddy for PGA TOUR winner Martin Trainer. Crawford explains the feel of playing the event alongside his father as his caddy, what his playing season looks like ahead with the upcoming Canada Life Series, and how the interaction with his looping boss went during the week. We wrap up the 3M Open, chat about the return of the LPGA after 166 days, the debut of Mike Weir, Jim Furyk & K.J. Choi on the PGA TOUR Champions, and see who got a TeeTalk Podcast bump to win the Colorado Open and $100K. Brooks Koepka gets some of out attention as he gets set to defend a WGC title in Memphis but is unlikely to make the FedEx Cup playoffs. The Mail Bag brings questions on wedges from Costco, the uniformity of PGA TOUR conditions, will playing blades make you a better player, and how to prompt slow players to move a little faster. This Friday episode begins with one final story to cap what became a Miguel Angel Carballo theme week. Then Brendan and Andy get to the initial golf from the Sticky Note Classic, where Martin Trainer got lapped by his looper, DJ bailed after a 78, and the golf course failed to distinguish itself for the right reasons. There’s a brief Michael Thompson career retrospective before a total digression into the PGA Tour Sponsored Content that angered GolfTwitter this week. It’s loud and impassioned for a few minutes before things then go back to normal with what amounts to reading names off the leaderboard of the Colorado Open. On a more poignant note, Andy and Brendan discuss and praise Beef Johnston’s comments and perspective about why he WD’d from the Euro Tour’s first event back. The praise is not there, however, for Tony Romo’s disgraceful WD after four holes on a sponsor’s exemption on the KFT Tour. News hits on some new Covid bubble allowances as the Tour’s sugar daddy sponsors come up on the schedule this next month. The episode ends with a segment on 3M Open competitor Brendon de Jonge, who is T10 after saying he’d not been sharp at all and just been on his tractor. It’s a dictatorial move anointing him FVF Jr. winner but they discuss his legendary Zimbabwean amateur feats, how he put on 70 pounds since coming to the USA for college, his goat farm, his cricket background, his Pres Cup appearance, the reasons for his “Birdie King” moniker, and how he got into the VTech HOF before Michael Vick.
The boys of @cartpathonlypod celebrate Martin Trainer's efforts, applaud Bubba and HV3, and have mixed feelings about Bryson and his breakthrough win at the Rocket Mortgage Classic.

Dustin seems to like playing out of the country. This is his second worldwide win this season, and he won both outside the borders of the good ole US of A. This win was a breeze for Dustin, who is showing some form similar to what we say out of him in the early portion of the 2017 season, when it really felt as if no one could beat him. You could hear in Rory McIlroy's voice in his Saturday afternoon interviews that he felt catching DJ was going to be difficult, and he was correct. At the Puerto Rico Open Web.com graduate Martin Trainer won for his first PGA Tour win, and pick up $540K for his efforts and a 2-year exemption on tour, which has to feel great!
