Dust off your funny bone (actual NBC ad copy circa 1987), it's the long-awaited conclusion to T.J., Tony and Producer Casey's forensic deep dish into Paul McCartney's 1993 appearance on Saturday Night Live! Yes, the boys are combing through every Macca performance, each Clinton-era comedy sketch, and almost every opinion... Unfortunately, Producer Casey did not inform the affiliates that we would be running over, so regularly scheduled programming resumed as planned. Of course, any well-executed satire (like the Gap Girls sketch!) will elicit thought-provoking questions. Such as:
Some of Macca's most interesting phone calls from this week's program.
This week on 2Legs (amidst the brand new touring rumours, and Babs dropping her duet on 'My Valentine' with Macca) we are pleased to revisit the Interview Series - where we dissect a rare and not often seen interview with Paul. On this episode we chose the 1977 Interview from an Australian TV program titled "Count Down." This recently surfaced on YouTube and to see the late 70s Wings trio ensconced in the privacy of #2 Studio at Abbey Road is pretty cool to witness. They appear bored at times (Denny especially) but Paul and Linda give some good sound bites here about what's to come. This was mainly used as a promotional tool for the then current single 'Mull of Kintyre.' The gentlemen interviewing Wings is Molly Meldrum. Orignally broadcasted on 24th December 1977. And we like Paul music post-1981, sorry not sorry! Peace Andy & Tom

It was the ABC News that first alerted the outdoors community to Macca's big wall fall near Blackheath in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales. With over 30 years climbing under his belt, including many first ascents and stories, some of which are the stuff of legend, he is one of the Blue Mountains climbing community's most well-known characters. Five years on from the accident, he joins me today with Sergeant Dal Atkinson, the team leader of Blue Mountains Police Rescue Squad, to speak about what happened and what the challenges of location, access, and weather made this one of the longest and most difficult cliff rescues in New South Wales.https://youtu.be/IVtaK-v99jM
We’re back with another round of nonsense, and yes—Saudi Arabia literally rolled out a two-storey mobile Macca’s for Donald Trump. Only the best for the man with a $660 billion announcement! We also played a new game called Name Em, and let’s just say... it’s a terrible idea for a podcast. Glossys had us gagging over Kim K’s $10 million courtroom look and Demi Moore’s behind-the-scenes bikini demands. Plus, we give the Wednesday Wheel a whirl and dive into Spelling Bee!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

It's the finale of 1990 and Paul McCartney is drawing a historic year in his solo career to a close with a new single. Taken from his new Tripping the Live Fantastic package capturing the best performances from his whirlwind 89-90 World Tour, the single All My Trials captures Macca and the band at their most soulful. A fitting, poignant end to a year that would come to define Paul for the rest of his life, and secure his legacy as the 20th century's most prolific pop prodigy. With new music from George Harrison's Traveling Wilburys still on the charts, so ends the beginning of a new decade in Beatle World. Next, it's 1991... Hosted on Acast. Hello 2Legs Faithful! We finally were able to record a proper episode again after a few hectic weeks post-Fest and Venus and Mars 50th Anniversary. This week on 2Legs Andy and Tom talk Macca Remixes! There are plenty of Macca Remixes out there; most of them coming during the Maxi-Single era of the 1980s. Special Thanks to Susan Gagne for this topic! The most recent one would be the remixes of 'Hope For The Future' that came out on that EP. "Thrash", "Beatsession", "Jaded" and "Mirwais" (2014). We give 5 selections (and play some samples of all the songs!) and list an honourable mention. It many cases sometimes the remix of a particular song worked out better than the official album version! What are some of your favourite Macca remixes he's released over the years? The link to the new channel featuring Andy, Kyle and Beatley Tone is here! Please like and sub!

Hello 2Legs Family! An episode recorded live at the 2025 Fest For Beatles Fans in Jersey City we are extremely proud to share this with you this week. Hot on the heels of the Venus and Mars 50th Anniversary half speed master release in March, Andy and Tom had the privilege to interview our friends Adrian Sinclair and Allan Kozinn, Co-Authors of The McCartney Legacy book series at the Fest to discuss this landmark Wings album, its context, some stories about the sessions, the artwork and we get Adrian and Allan's ranking on each track as well! This was a lot of fun and our BEST Fest panel yet! We'd like to thank all the Fest attendees who elected to watch this live. Some people left because the room was full and we apologise for that but we hope you enjoy this video recording of the discussion! We'd also like to especially thank Allan Kozinn and Adrian Sinclair for their time and their work on these books. They have spent 10 years working on these two books and their work should be celebrated and recognised by Macca fans and scholars worldwide. Peace Andy and Tom
