Dangerous weather and then darkness has forced an end to play on day two of the US Women's Open golf major in Wisconsin. A number of players were still on the course at Erin Hills, so they'll resume overnight. Kiwi great Dame Lydia Ko's managed to finish her second round but is eight shots off the pace on even par, with the projected cut line on two over. The professional golfers will compete for the New Zealand Open title whilst simultaneously a pairing of one professional and one amateur will play a best-ball format for the New Zealand Open Pro-Am Championship. After winning the 103rd Maryland Open golf tournament on July 10 in Easton, former two-time state champion from Middletown High, Alex Hoffman, is this week's guest on The Final Score podcast.
