Ryan joins us this week to head back to the pond for another episode of The Way Home. ABOUT: THE WAY HOME (SEASON 4 EPISODE 9) New Year's Eve in 1925 brings into focus the Landry and Augustine families' destiny, and Elliot and Kat witness it; in another time, Alice does the same. AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR: THE WAY HOME (SEASON 4 EPISODE 9) June 14, 2026 | Hallmark Channel CAST & CREW OF: THE WAY HOME (SEASON 4 EPISODE 9) Chyler Leigh as Kat Landry Evan Williams as Elliot Augustine Sadie Laflamme as Alice Dhawan Andie MacDowell as Del Landry BRAN'S THE WAY HOME (SEASON 4 EPISODE 9) SYNOPSIS So Elliot and Kat jump but they don't end up in the '20s. They end up in the '80s and see the day that Colton and Del come home with baby Kat. Old Fern is like ohhhh my Kitty Kat. Meanwhile at home, Jacob finds the scary notes hidden in a drawer. So I guess those are coming back. Elliot and Kat come back and say hey we're jumping again, gotta stop Tessa from dying. Del is like or you could not jump? Guess what. They jump. They go and find Fern doing her screen test and we see the clip that they saw of Kat coming on screen and telling Fern something. Well that something is we gotta go, Tessa is going to die. That's when Grayson calls cut and says yes we know that. It's all fake. And that's when Grayson, Fern, and Tessa tell Kat and Elliot the plan - we're getting out of the hooch business by having Tessa fake her own death. Fern says 1926 is a year of new beginnings - a fresh start for all of us. We then see that Alice also jumped, hoping to help Elliot and Kat. Of course she pops out in the '80s and Griff is there and takes a picture of her. And he says I knew it, the pond is magic. Tessa then shows up and is like what's going on here. Griff takes a picture of the two of them together. Back in the '20s, Tessa and Elliot go to look at their house. She says she's going to buy it and bring it back to the family. Abby is planning on telling her dad about her and Jacob. Jacob is freaking out so he goes to talk to his ol' pal Danny. He tells Danny he wants to run Landry farms with him - equal partners. But then he sees that Danny has a typewriter and figures out that Danny is the one who was sending the notes and runs out. Back in the '20s, Cliff proposes to Fern even though he was planning on waiting until New Year's. She says yes. Back in the '80s, Tessa is babysitting Evelyn's kid but Tessa is really tired because baby. So she ends up falling asleep. When she wakes up, she can't find Evelyn's kid. So she runs out, leaving her baby behind and the baby starts crying. When she gets back, Alice is there to help the baby. Evelyn shows up and is pissed at Tessa. You lost my son and left your baby? What kind of mom is this! Danny shows up and tells Del and Jacob that he did send the notes because he was mad after overhearing Kat and Alice one day talking about how Jacob was still alive. When he showed back up, they never cleared Danny's name for being responsible for the disappearance so he was mad. They make up though. In the '20s at the party, Elliot realizes that while the fake explosion isn't supposed to happen tonight, his mom is actually doing one last real job to make enough money to get out. So he goes to stop her but Cliff shows up and arrests the big tuna, Elliot. But he tells Elliot that he knows he's Tessa's son and needs to stop her so they all go. Grayson gives Kat a gun and tells her to be careful. At Abby's wine event, Jacob shows up even though he's scared of the shaft and he asks her dad if he can marry her and he's like you've been trying to blackmail me and Abby is like you what and he's like oh yea sorry. Back in the '80s, Alice watches on as the friend group hangs out and Griff gets in a shouting match with Vic and it all comes out what happened with Tessa that day, and Colton tells Griff to scram. He's not welcome here! The episode ends with the countdown of 10 to New Year's, and Cliff showing up to arrest everyone, everyone draws their gun, Cliff shoots at Tessa but Elliot jumps in front. Kat pulls him out just before the gas reaches the gunpowder, causing a large explosion that even those at the party can feel. Ryan joins us this week to head back to the pond for another episode of The Way Home. ABOUT: THE WAY HOME (SEASON 4 EPISODE 3) Kat and Elliot plan a romantic getaway, while Alice tries to gather more clues; Del and Sam get a surprise visit from Elliot's father, Vic. AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR: THE WAY HOME (SEASON 4 EPISODE 3) May 3, 2026 | Hallmark Channel CAST & CREW OF: THE WAY HOME (SEASON 4 EPISODE 3) Chyler Leigh as Kat Landry Evan Williams as Elliot Augustine Sadie Laflamme as Alice Dhawan Andie MacDowell as Del Landry BRAN'S THE WAY HOME (SEASON 4 EPISODE 3) SYNOPSIS In the '70s Colton goes to confront Grif. He sees Alice and is like oh you must be Del. He corrects him and then Alice goes to jump back to the present. In the present, Del is telling Elliot that she can't help but wonder if Griffin took Tessa into the pond. She suspected that they had a thing. Elliot is like you kept this from me. You know what secrets have done to this family. He storms off. Alice hears all of this and decides to jump again to see if she can find out more. But she shows up 2 years later. Evelyn's had her kid and he's already 2 years old. And Griffin has been gone for 2 years too. So a wasted trip. Kat sees that bullet on Alice's nightstand and she tells her where she found it. Kat is like hmmmm interesting. Del and Sam are riding horses. Sam is like I wonder if you should move in with me. He also tells her that he knows about the pond when her horse seems to get nervous when they get close to it. Alice is hanging out with boyfriend Noah and best friend Max. Noah says he's thinking about opening a restaurant in the big city. Max is not supportive. But Alice tells him if it feels right, go for it. They can just start long distance early. When Max and Alice go to leave, Max tells her that it's probably not going to work with them going long distance. She's like what do you know about love? Elliot surprises Kat with a last minute getaway to a cabin in the woods. Elliot's dad shows up looking for him but he's nowhere to be found. So he goes to question Del. He tells Del that Elliot has been calling, asking about his mother. Del says I told him the truth - Tessa left both of you because she fell in love with Colton's brother. When they get to the cabin, we see that Elliot has brought the engagement ring. Is it finally time?! Alice goes back in time to talk to Evelyn and check on her baby. Evelyn is excited to finally see her but questions why she bailed before the baby was born. While they're talking, guess who walks up to take her order... it's TESSA!!! While out on a hike, Elliot gets ready to propose. He does that by telling her that he's always wondered if they should have kids of their own. Before they can dive into that, they get service and find out that Elliot's dad is back in town. Elliot's dad joins Del & Sam for dinner to hash things out some more. Alice watches as Victor Augustine (Elliot's dad) asks Tessa out on a date. And then she watches as Tessa steals money and looks at Alice and puts her finger to her mouth...don't you tell! Elliot gets back and sees the happy go lucky dinner. He's like oh I don't wanna interrupt this happy reunion. Kat goes to talk to him, tell him that she's open to continuing that conversation about kids but he needs to work things out with his dad. While looking at the picture of Tessa, she recognizes the bracelet she's wearing. Turns out, it's the same bracelet that Fern is wearing in that reel. Elliot asks his dad how he can be so sure that his mom died if he never saw her again. He gives him a letter he received, saying she's dying, that included the ring. Fern takes Kat to a speakeasy where she performs and then Kat overhears the big bad Augustines talking about getting rid of her. Kat is then shocked to hear her singing Tainted Love. She goes to confront her about singing a song from the future when she starts feeling funky. She collapses as Cliff comes down there to break up the party. Fern says oh Kitty Kat what are we gonna do with you? Elliot and his dad make up as the clock chimes at 11:11, like always. He says that his mom always used to say make a wish at 11:11. The episode ends with Kat waking up in a jail cell. Watch the show on Youtube - www.deckthehallmark.com/youtubeInterested in advertising on the show? Ryan joins us this week to head back to the pond for another episode of The Way Home. ABOUT: THE WAY HOME (SEASON 4 EPISODE 2) Alice is about to graduate high school; Kat and Elliot dream of the next steps for their relationship; Del realizes she will soon be an empty-nester again. AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR: THE WAY HOME (SEASON 4 EPISODE 2) April 26, 2026 | Hallmark Channel CAST & CREW OF: THE WAY HOME (SEASON 4 EPISODE 2) Chyler Leigh as Kat Landry Evan Williams as Elliot Augustine Sadie Laflamme as Alice Dhawan Andie MacDowell as Del Landry BRAN'S THE WAY HOME (SEASON 4 EPISODE 2) SYNOPSIS Elliot is all sad that the pond didn't take him. Del is helping him talk through it. We see a flashback of teenage Elliot leaving the house and Del and Colton telling him he's always welcome to stay. After he walks out, Del is like we never should've let him leave. It's not what Tessa would've wanted. Colton says we just need to keep loving him. That's our promise. Kat comes out of the pond in 1925. Fern says I guess I shouldn't know when you're from but I can ask why. Kat says she's looking for Tessa Augustine. She says I do know some Augustines but no Tessa. She asks Kat her name and Fern says I will call you Kitty Kat. Fern has the same conversation with Alice in 1976. Fern says she hasn't seen anyone matching that description from Tessa. She takes Alice to the house and Alice is like...why am I here? Fern is like I have no idea but it's time for my nap. In the '20s, Fern says she's never time traveled. She has no interest in heading back in time. She's a modern girl. She only cares about the future. In fact, this is the first time she's come across a time traveler. Alice is walking down the street and Evelyn drives by, so excited to see Kat again! Fern and Kat also walk down the street and Fern gets a couple of Augustine boys to stop the car to pick them up. She asks about a Tessa and they're both like I have no idea who you're talking about. Alice gets to Coyle's and Jasper gives her a welcome back milkshake. She asks if he knows a Tessa. He's like sure don't. Back in the present, Elliot is looking at the picture of him and his mom. The clock suddenly starts playing a song when Del shows up to check on him. She asks him to come with her. Alice is looking at this song book of songs from the area and asks about this one from 1926. She picks up her guitar and starts to play the song. Fern brings Kat to the newspaper where she's living and invites Kat to this get together in the evening. Maybe Tessa will be there. Del has Elliot fix something in the barn and he tells her about how he got his 5 more minutes with Colton right here in the barn. It means a lot to him. Del asks if Elliot and Kat are still going to get married. Back in the '20s, Fern & Kat are getting changed for the party when Dan Jerrott walks in. His name is Cliff and he's like oh I'm just looking for the editor. He and Fern have some flirty flirty fun time. They head to the party at the Lingermore estate, a place where prohibition doesn't exist. Grayson is pulling all the strings and even has Phantom of the Opera playing at the party. Colton shows up in the '70s and is excited to see Alice! Evelyn takes them to see her husband Ash. Grayson tells the party that he's going to film a movie right there in Port Haven and Fern will be his star in his movie, Cassandra in the Lighthouse. She introduces Grayson to Kat. Ash is waxing poetic about poetry and Evelyn is hanging on every word. He's a big traveler and doesn't understand why anyone would want to stay in Port Haven. He and Colton get in a bit of an argument. Evelyn is like ok enough of that, let's go explore the tunnels. While Fern is singing a song, Kat sees Grayson talking with the Augustine boys and they hand Grayson a wad of cash that he puts in his pocket. THEN he comes down and proposes to Fern! She says yes! The gang is in the tunnels. While down there they find a pair of old glasses and Alice finds a bullet shell. Kat warns Fern that Grayson might not be on the up and up because the Augustine brothers paid him for something. Fern is like I'm sure it's nothing. Elliot and Del are at the bar and we find out that Jacob got a job at a bar in Toronto. This causes Del to drink a lot. In the '20s, the prohibition officers show up. They ditch their drinks and run! Colton can't handle this Ash guy and goes to leave. Evelyn is hurt by this and runs into the study. Alice goes to check on her and she tells Alice that she's pregnant. On the walk back home from the party, Cliff stops them. He's the fuzz and says that he should fine them for the alcohol. Fern is like Kat doesn't have any money because she's a time traveler. He just laughs and says that's a new one. Alice finds Colton and sings him a song that she's been working on. Colton is like the song was nice but it wasn't from your heart. Alice says she is afraid to bare her soul in a song. Kat and Fern end up back at the pond. Fern says I think the pond brought you here to give you a heck of a good time. She asks Fern to keep her ear to the ground on a Tessa Augustine, or maybe her maiden name Tessa Cooper. She comes back and tells Del about her time with Fern. Del says none of that matches what I know about Fern. The stuff she had told Del is straight out of the movie she was gonna be in. The episode ends with Del showing Elliot a picture she has that is ripped that includes his mom saying she made a pact with Tessa but some pacts had a shelf life. Then Alice and Colton finishing their hang out sesh when a motorbike drives by fast. So they follow it and he's like that's my brother, Griffin. Andy and Brendan's Christmas wish for a "Home Alone" episode to finish out 2025 has come true! The Boys take over the feed for this final look back at the year in professional golf as Joseph and PJ recap the 3M Open and Wyndham Championship. Before getting to what was perhaps the most important tournament of the season, The Boys first discuss TGL's Season 2 debut on Sunday. Billy Horschel took down NYGC again, continuing to be the bane of the entire city's existence according to the broadcast. Billy was joined by Chris Gotterup and Corey Conners on the Atlanta Drive as last-minute replacement players for the suddenly-injured Patrick Cantlay and Lucas Glover. Despite only having one (1) of the team's four (4) players active, Atlanta still managed to clean up against Cameron Young, Matt Fitzpatrick, and Xander Schauffele. Joseph and PJ discuss some standout new holes designed by Augie Pizá and share some excitement for this Friday's Ballfrogs match. There's also been a bit of major golf news since we've been away - Talor Gooch is now the captain of Smash GC! Joseph reads from a new LIV article detailing Gooch's approach to his newfound captaincy and the fallout from Brooks Koepka leaving the league with one year remaining on his contract. The Boys try to game out where this leaves Brooks to play in 2026 and PJ wonders if an easy route back to the PGA Tour for Koepka is coming soon. Bryson DeChambeau is also posturing for a new contract, telling Flushing It that some things need to change for the now-72 hole tour in 2026. After cleaning up the LIV hot stove, The Boys resume the Year in Review with a brief stop at TPC Sod Farms for the 3M Open. Scottie, Bryson, and many more golf stars were in attendance at the "Happy Gilmore 2" premiere this week, but no star shined as bright as Kurt Kityama at an Arnold Palmer design. The Kitty Kat held off challengers like Matt Wallace and Jake Knapp to secure his second PGA Tour win, setting the stage for the 1,000th unique winner in Tour history at the Wyndham. The majority of this episode is, naturally, spent remembering a superstar's win at an iconic Donald Ross venue in North Carolina. Cameron Young ran away with the tournament, beating Mac Meissner by six shots to finally win his first PGA Tour event. Joseph and PJ share the best highlights from the crowning of Mr. 1,000, properly giving this American Ryder Cup hero his flowers despite the best efforts of Andy and Brendan to prevent this from happening. The Boys end the show with a new segment called "Receipts Corner," calling out some who believed this day - or Cameron Young's ensuing end-of-season success - would never come. Andy and Brendan will return in 2026 for another year of covering the amusing, inane, and irreverent moments from professional golf.

In this episode of “Podcast in Death,” we review “Calculated in Death.” This is a book that is, according to Tara, a nice “palette cleanser” after the intensity of “Delusion in Death.” While Tara really enjoyed this book, AJ felt this one was kind of “meh,” where the case is concerned. But we all agree that there are so many really good moments in this book, including: The really dumb Candida and her white panther cub and her fancy water harvested from the snowmelt in the Andes Galahad getting pissed at Eve because he smelled the white panther cub on her The suspect throwing a baby at Eve, and Eve making that really excellent catch Baxter telling Eve that Trueheart is ready for his Detective exam, and she agrees The mother they question who’s son is refusing to take a nap, and Eve tells him it’s either a nap or jail saying, “There’s no ice cream in jail, no toys in jail, no cartoons on screen in jail. There’s just jail.” Peabody’s undercover operation as “Dolly” who works as an exotic dancer at the “Kitty Kat.” All these scenes and more make this book a really great read!

This Monday episode is a ramble with Brendan traveling to LUPLAND and Andy battling spotty wifi, but the two react to a delightful and amusing Sunday at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. They discuss Kurt Kitayama's rise to win one of the game's elite events, his unattractive game holding up against the likes of Spieth and Rory and Scheffler, and if Bay Hill truly delineates the best golfer from the week. There's plenty of ammo for the “just a guy” narrative from the sketchy drop to the putting at the finish. They debate more about the new Designated formats for next year and where that would have left someone like Harris English. James Hahn's comments are given a quick examination, with plenty of laughs but also a few points that may be somewhat valid however inarticulately told.

It's an unfocused Wednesday episode that regrettably, or fortunately, comes during the best week of the PGA Tour season. Andy has driven down to Los Angeles and reports from his first day on the ground about a wild encounter on the Riviera steps. They also preview the Genesis, but not without pondering if it's getting lost in the schedule or if February is the best time for such a high-profile peak on the schedule. There's a wild divergence on J.B. Holmes drawing a tee time with Will Zalatoris, and Holmes's penis pool featured on a reality show (not Full Swing). They discuss some holes at Riviera as well. Tiger's return, his press conference, and his odds to win being the same as the Kitty Kat are covered. News hits on Adam Scott's election to the PAC chairman and TGL adding a couple gold medalists.

This Friday episode begins with the “Geronimo Test” and the $100,000 price for something called the Smash GC Family Package. Then Brendan and Andy reflect on Brooks Koepka playing in Oman the week of the Phoenix Open. There is some Dynapower scoop from Andy's day out at the Pebble Pro Am, as well as some Kitty Kat facts. They review the wonders of Martin Trainer's website, which proudly claims anti-American and socialist views. There's exasperation over three days of preferred lies at Pebble because of the chance of moderate rain in one afternoon. News hits on WGC Austin folding up after this year, PXG developing a golf ball, and rumors of Cam Smith struggling to find a country club in the Jacksonville area. They close with an SGS Golf advice on guilt by cheating association, calling a penalty on yourself or trying to hash it out with a partner, and more.

Willamette Valley town's mascot was the state's wealthiest housecat; he owned City Hall along with the farm it was built on, as well as an iconic red barn.
