In the 140th episode of The Main Street Electrical Podcast, Jenn & Dave finally get back to questions from the listener, something not done on MSEP since Ep 11 in 2020! Jenn is getting ready for her trip (that she's on now) and Dave is getting ready for his Disney Wish sailing in a few weeks, but first, it's time to talk about the pros and cons of staying on property. What other parks do Jenn & Dave enjoy besides WDW and Universal? Why sail on a Disney Cruise? What rides in the parks are considered "Untouchable"? Who should return to the podcast? What would it take for Jenn to stay in an All Star Resort? And can Disney animation recover from it's recent setbacks? Great questions, and a great discussion of answers on this week's episode!
As we board our “it's a small world” boat, hear the ending of Main Street Electrical Parade as it steps onto the parade corridor. It drowns out the Small World clock, but the safety spiel plays over MSEP and it's quite unique. The entirety of “it's a small world” follows.Recorded on 6/4/22.
In light of the current situation around the world, I think we needed to come together as a podcast family for a bit just to check-in on each other. During this show that was recorded live on Wednesday night, April 1, 2020. Tonight we played a game called "This or That?" We put pairs of experiences together and each caller had to answer the previous pair and then put out a new pair for the next caller! MSEP vs. SpectroMagic, Wishes vs. Happily Ever After, Coronado Springs vs. Pop Century, and much more! If you need a bit of a pick-me-up, this show might do the trick. Thank you sincerely for always being a part of our podcast community. We have something special here and together, we will make it through this stronger than before. Blessings - Mike

Defense Secretary Leon Panetta traveled last week to the Asia Pacific Region, making stops in Australia, Thailand, and Cambodia. The Secretary, along with Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, met with their Australian counterparts for the 2012 Australia-United States Ministerial Consultations where a number of agreements were reached that will lead to further cooperation between the two countries military forces. This episode marks the 5th Anniversary (more or less) of Trapped on Vacation, we're still the Longest Running Non-Commercial Disney Podcast on the Internet, and we'd like to thank you for listening and sticking with us for all of these years! Without our listeners like you, I'd just be a guy talking to my self with a wife staring at him wondering what the heck I was doing. So thanks for not making me look like an idiot. Well... like more of an idiot I guess... This week we head back in time with all new audio from the Opening Night Preview of the Main Street Electrical Parade at the Magic Kingdom. Yes, that's how long it's been... After that we head up north to Dearborn, MI and hear an original recording by Thomas Edison. Without Edison's invention of the phonograph, I doubt you'd be hearing my voice today! So thanks Mr. Edison! (Also thanks for the lightbulbs in MSEP!) Hope you enjoy it! Have fun!
