This week, our sermon was given by Lally Wood, who drew our series to a focus on the glory of God. Lally reminded us that the angels presented themselves to the shepherds—people who were lowly and at the bottom of society. This shows that God's glory is not for a particular group of people or a certain status, but for those who are ordinary—which is everyone. This means that God is there, waiting to extend His hand so that we may encounter Him. It is not about keeping up with the latest trends or reaching life goals, but about fixing our eyes on the Holy One, Emmanuel, who is with us—waiting for us, and calling us to trust in Him.

The Chair of Clare's Tourism Advisory Forum believes the lifting of the Dublin Airport Passenger Cap would not only increase visitor numbers in this county, but also boost Shannon's traffic. It comes as the Irish Tourism Industry Confederation has been calling for budget supports amid a 11% drop in overseas visitors numbers so far this year. The organisation has previously identified that 40% of those flying into Dublin ultimately travel to the Wild Atlantic Way. Co-Owner of Hotel Woodstock Seán Lally believes boosting funding caps for Shannon and passenger limitations for Dublin would bring major benefits.

Watch the full coverage of the live stream on The Emily D. Baker YouTube channel: https://youtube.com/live/V_gRWoUtPKY A hearing was held on August 5th, which was intended to continue the evidentiary portion of the motion to dismiss for the Myles King Murder Case, but this did not happen. Instead, the court requested the defense and prosecution to collaboratively create a comprehensive list of all evidence, when it was turned over, and which items are considered prejudicial by the defense. This is complicated by the fact that the prosecution did not consistently bate stamp documents. Another significant issue is the ongoing delay in receiving discovery related to Former Trooper Michael Proctor's text messages, which are relevant to five cases, including the Myles King case. The court is waiting for federal authorities to release this discovery. The defense is frustrated by the continuous "dripping faucet" of new discovery, making it difficult to prepare their case. The bar for dismissing a case due to discovery failures in Massachusetts is high, and typically, the remedy is to grant more time for trial. The Karen Read case has brought attention to this widespread issue of lingering discovery in Massachusetts cases. The next hearing for the Myles King case is scheduled for August 12th at 2pmET, where the judge will continue to try and clarify the specific evidence at issue for the motion to dismiss. Neither Adam Lally nor Proctor testified on August 5th, and they are not expected to testify on August 12th either. RHOBH Dorit Kemsley filed for divorce from PK, and that got La thinking, “during a separation, are you allowed to see other people?” She put the question to you, and added to it, what if the couple are both your friends, do you have to choose sides? And if that weren't enough, Lala also asked, would you rather have Jax Taylor or Jesse Lally as your ex (shout out to Watch What Happens Live). Lala's answer might surprise you!
